The share of juvenile bleeding1 accounts for 10-20 % of all cases of dysfunctional uterine bleeding (2-3 % of girls of school age suffer from juvenile menstrual bleeding). True, if the follicle is insufficient, there are complaints of moderate or poor discharge of blood after menstruation, to shorten the duration of the menstrual cycle. The lack of a yellow body can be accompanied by the appearance of smearing blood before the onset of menstruation. Such violations of the menstrual cycle do not pose an immediate threat to health and life and do not require emergency assistance.
Significant or profuse bleeding is accompanied by disorders of the menstrual cycle, proceeding according to the type of the follicle or yellow body persistence, as well as the type of atresia of the follicles. The onset of bleeding is preceded by amenorrhea of different duration. Similar bleeding is also characteristic of premenopausal women. More than half of all cases of acyclic bleeding in the background of anovulation occur during this period of a woman's life.
