Causes of the cold fingers
If you notice that your hands are constantly cold, then the reason, most likely, is no longer in cold weather. It is possible, therefore, the body signals the presence of some problems with the organs. This problem is more common in women than in men. The culprits of the fact that the girl has cold fingers, are considered some of the reasons that are described below.
Usually, constantly freezing hands indicate the presence of some kind of problem in the body, and this phenomenon is mainly observed in women. For example, according to statistics, 9 out of 10 women interviewed suffer from numbness of hands from cold.
What are the causes of such manifestations? In the body there is some kind of disorder - perhaps a disease of some internal organ. This problem may also occur due to the use of certain medications.
There are also other reasons, much more serious. These are, for example, heart disorders, autoimmune diseases or gastrointestinal diseases.
In general, the reasons can be mass, and the consequences of some of them can be life threatening. Therefore, if you started to notice a permanent freezing of your hands, we recommend that you seek help from a doctor and undergo an in-depth examination at the clinic.
[3]
Risk factors
Skin on hands can change color because of strong excitement or because of a long stay in the cold. The blood vessels in the fingers of the hands under the influence of these factors narrow, which causes the skin to become white, and then blue (due to venous stasis). When the blood flow is restored, the skin turns red. In some cases, skin color may change even with a slight cooling.
There are also cases when the hands grow cold all the time and without any particular reason - it is possible that this is a harbinger of varicose veins. In addition, cold fingers are inherent in those who suffer from vascular dystonia and disorders in the work of the heart. The cause of disorders of the nerve conduction of the fingers and, as a result, their numbness, can become diseases such as diabetes and thyroid disease. If you notice that in addition to cold hands, heart problems have started, skin sensitivity and overall body temperature decreased, nail brittleness is observed - you should immediately seek medical advice.
Pathogenesis
The pathogenesis of the cold hands syndrome is not yet well understood, therefore it is rather difficult to explain it. One of the causes of vasomotor disorders may be the pathology of vasomotor centers - for example, in the spinal cord, sympathetic nodes or subcortical formations. Another factor - capillary insufficiency, also humoral reasons, such, disturbance of susceptibility to noradrenaline and adrenaline.
We will not single out any of the existing theories that emerged in the course of studying the pathogenesis of the disease, but we note that each of them has a right to exist, and each of the factors described in them really affects the development of the disease. Cold fingers are a consequence of functional damage to peripheral vegetative nodes. This very clearly demonstrates the development of Raynaud's syndrome in conjunction with various injuries - for example, a vibrational disease.
The majority of scientists who studied this disease believe that the main thing in its genesis is a spasm in small arteries and capillaries, which is based on the increased excitability of vasoconstrictor centers located in the sympathetic nervous system. But at the same time it was not possible to find out how such a violation directly affects the SNA itself.
Symptoms of the cold fingers
Cold fingers in the absence of any external stimuli indicate a violation - most likely, the body develops some pathology. In the human body, it can be anywhere. Therefore, in order to identify it, you should conduct a thorough and detailed medical diagnosis - it will help you determine the nature and exact location of the disease. The doctor should be consulted if you find these symptoms:
- The fingers become numb or move poorly, but there is no external stimulus;
- Pale or blue skin of hands even when the surrounding temperature is high;
- Constant tingling at the fingertips along with a sensation of numbness of the skin near the nail;
- Skin tissues begin to die, while the head turns and hurts, the hands ache, fainting, very severe fatigue and weakness in the whole body;
- It's hard for you to move around, suddenly you lose speech;
- Numbness occurs due to injuries in the back, head injuries, cervical joints.
If the fingers on the hands for any reason lose sensitivity for a period of more than 3 minutes, and this is repeated periodically, most likely the problem is in the vascular disease and nerve endings.
Cold fingers indicate problems with blood circulation or nerves. The cause may also be damage to the skin tissue on the fingers or arm.
There are several more symptoms that occur with cold hands:
- The skin on the hands changes color - turns pale or turns blue;
- Cold feet
- In the hand, a tingling sensation or numbness is felt;
- Occurrence of blisters or open ulcers;
- The skin begins to coarsen or contract.
First signs
Few people pay attention to numbness or freezing of hands at low temperature, because in this case, cold fingers are quite common. But in fact, everything can be much more serious - a simple redness of the hands from the cold can be a symptom of the disease.
Stages
The disease manifests itself in different ways at different stages. The first signs of each of the stages look like this:
- I stage. The tone in the walls of the vessels increases, which causes small spasms of phalanges of fingers on the hands. Concomitant symptoms can also be pain, numbness, paleness of the hands. This spasm quickly passes and the symptoms disappear.
- II stage. All the symptoms present in the first stage are manifested, after which the hands begin to turn blue or acquire a marble color, and also swell. Such attacks are accompanied also by severe pain.
- III stage. It appears 3-5 years after the symptoms of the first 2 stages appear. There are foci of soft tissue necrosis on the surface of the skin at the fingertips. Since blood circulation is disturbed, the wounds on the hands do not heal well, in their place can begin to form ulcers.
Such attacks can have a different duration - sometimes it's only a few minutes, and sometimes as much as several hours. The frequency of manifestations also varies - spasms may appear several times a day, or do not disturb for several months.
Forms
[17]
Cold fingers and toes
The upper and lower limbs can freeze for several reasons. Among them:
- vegetative-vascular dystonia. This disease also has the following symptoms: absent-mindedness, headache, drowsiness, accelerated heartbeat, disturbance in blood vessels. The result of this disease is that the vessels in the body are in a state of indiscriminate contraction, which in turn disrupts the blood supply of individual organ systems;
- anemia due to iron deficiency in the body. Since the body lacks the specified trace element, the heat is very quickly wasted and therefore the person quickly freezes;
- food is low in calories. Cold fingers and toes are a frequent occurrence for women, often sitting on a variety of diets. Every person is obliged to receive a certain amount of vitamins and various microelements on a daily basis - only in this case the organism will be able to function fully. The constant shortage of some vitamins can cause various problems, among which constantly freezing legs and hands;
- thyroid disease. If there are any abnormalities in the thyroid gland, it can not produce enough hormones for the body. Lack of hormones in the body leads to the freezing of not only the limbs, but also the whole body.
Cold fingers of the left hand
The cause of freezing of the fingers of the left hand can be quite simple and not dangerous - very often this condition is observed as a result of dehydration, that the person was fidgety, or after taking some medications. Also among the reasons is a lack of vitamin B or a lower level of sugar.
The fingers on the left arm become numb and for more serious reasons - for example, because of a vascular or heart disease. If you begin to get confused speech, and you feel that the fingers of the left hand are numb, immediately call the First Aid - these symptoms can be a harbinger of the onset of a stroke.
Cold fingers also sometimes portend the onset of a heart attack. In addition, the symptoms are chest pain, nausea and lack of air.
Among other causes of numbness of the hand and her fingers - intervertebral hernia, shoulder injuries, spine, displacement of the dorsal vertebrae. Another factor is wrist damage, in which nerve fibers are broken in it. Additional symptoms are tingling, painful sensation and weakness in the hand.
Cooling and numbness of the fingers can also indicate the manifestation of such disorders as diabetes, vasoconstriction, paralysis.
[18]
Cold fingers of the right hand
Frequent and prolonged freezing of the right arm or her fingers shows that the body is experiencing some kind of problem. This can be a symptom of such diseases:
- hernia (in vertebrae), osteochondrosis (cervical section), pathology of vertebral cartilages. These disorders become the cause of infringement or nerve transmission, which connect the spine with the right hand;
- a problem with the blood supply of the brain. This disorder is usually accompanied by an increase in blood pressure or hypercholesterolemia;
- injury of the elbow or shoulder, which is also accompanied by swelling in the damaged area;
- if you have cold fingers at night, it is possible that there is a violation in the functioning of some internal organs (possibly, the lungs);
- long nervous tension or being in a state of constant stress.
In some cases, the little finger of the right hand can also dumb. This is a sign of problems in the wrist or compression-ischemic neuropathy. In the first case, the median nerve is squeezed by the bones and tendons of the wrist. Most often this affects people in the senior middle age, who at work are engaged in the assembly of small parts of various mechanisms. Neuropathy can also occur in sign language interpreters, artists, writers, musicians.
[19]
The fingers are cold and numb
Basically, the fingers are numb, because the functioning of nerve fibers is disturbed. The most likely cause of this phenomenon is cervical osteochondrosis. To reveal, whether there is at you this disease, it is possible there and then - if at inclinations and turns of a head you feel a dyscomfort and a pain, the crunch is heard - most likely, defeat of a neck an osteochondrosis already is available. The disease mainly manifests itself after 45 years.
Nail in case of violations of the index and thumb. To confirm the diagnosis, you should perform an x-ray of the cervical vertebrae. Similar signs also appear in spondyloarthrosis and disc hernias.
There may be more simple reasons - the hand stiffened from a long lying on it during sleep. Sometimes numbness of any one finger can be a consequence of pressure from a small ring.
Cold fingers are sometimes numb during pregnancy or menopause, as well as in people suffering from migraine.
If the fingers of the left hand are numb, this can indicate the presence of heart diseases - for example, it is possible that it is angina. A particularly dangerous sign is a numbness rising upwards to the forearm, or a problem with an anonymous finger.
Also numbness occurs as a result of a stroke or damage to the skull.
Cold fingertips on the hands
Numbness of fingertips is a fairly common phenomenon for many people, and the reasons for this may be very diverse. Most of the hands are numb because of a violation of the correct order of blood circulation in the hand. Hands in this case also become cold. To get rid of this unpleasant sensation, you first need to determine what causes this numbness.
Sometimes the cause of cooling and swelling of the fingers is just an uncomfortable arrangement in a dream. Then the person, having woken up in the morning, feels, that the fingertips are numb and tingle. In this situation, the simplest morning warm-up will help, after which unpleasant feelings will go away on their own.
But if the cold fingers are numb regularly and with a high frequency of seizures, this may indicate some more serious problems. In this case, you need to go to the doctor-neurologist. The survey will help identify the problem and find the correct solution.
Numbness may well manifest as a consequence of various abnormalities in organs and systems. For example, various injuries, diseases associated with the endocrine system, rheumatism, inflammation of various joints become an irritant.
Thumb on the hand cold
Sometimes a similar problem is a banal consequence of a pinched nerve due to an uncomfortable posture. But if the thumb begins to grow dumb (sometimes the index finger or middle finger), this is most likely a sign of osteochondrosis of the neck or thoracic spine. This symptom is often supplemented by such inconveniences as weakness in the hands, painful sensations in the neck, forearms, shoulder joints. Similar signs (cold fingers, loss of sensitivity) arise when there is a pathology of elbows or neuralgia related to the shoulder girdle. If such a problem is seasonal, it is most likely the cause in hypovitaminosis A and B. One more factor is the early stage of atherosclerosis development of blood vessels.
Diseases, which are also inherent in numbness of the fingers - is angina and diabetes. Also, the thumb can lose sensitivity due to a previously damaged elbow.
In the third trimester of pregnancy, due to swelling in the wrists, there may be paresthesia of the fingers - in order to prevent it, you need to closely monitor the level of pressure and the development of swelling in your hands. It will be superfluous and at times to take tests to reveal the level of protein in the body.
Complications and consequences
Cold fingers can lead to such consequences and complications:
- Muscles on the arm atrophy;
- Conductivity and sensitivity of the tissues of the hand will be impaired;
- Serious problems with blood circulation, which can lead to necrosis or gangrene;
- Limitation of mobility of phalanges of fingers or complete immobility.
Possible complications due to numbness are quite real, because such a problem is a sign of a serious illness. If you do not follow the course of treatment, the consequences can be irreversible, since the connections between nerve fibers in the hand will be irretrievably broken. So, in the case of regular numbness, we recommend that you do not hesitate to seek help from a doctor. What can be the consequences of refusing to treat numbness in the hands:
- Amputation;
- Paralysis;
- Constant, chronic pain in the limb;
- Problems with the functioning of the hand;
- Complete loss of sensitivity.
If there is tingling and numbness in the fingers of the fingers, the sensitivity in these areas can also be disturbed, which is why the pain sensations and reaction to the temperature change are dulled. For example, you can cut yourself or accidentally burn yourself on a hot object without feeling pain. Therefore, in this case, you should take precautions so as not to cause yourself harm.
Diagnostics of the cold fingers
Why do the fingers become cold and numb? The reason must necessarily find out, and as quickly as possible. Especially if this numbness begins to spread to other parts of the body and lasts for a long time. In this case, you should immediately consult a doctor.
In order to find out why you have cold fingers, you can use these diagnostic methods:
- Angiography (using a special dye and X-ray radiation, the test allows you to determine what condition the blood vessels are in);
- Tomography angiography on the computer;
- Tomography of the head (MRI and computer);
- MRI of the cervical vertebrae (it is performed with suspicion of pinching of the nerve root - this happens because of tumors, intervertebral hernia, bony proliferation);
- Ultrasound of the cervical vessels to determine if there is a risk of a stroke or transient ischemic attack;
- X-ray of the extremity;
- Electromyography to assess how muscles respond to stimulation of nerve endings;
- Spinal puncture to identify CNS diseases;
- If there is a suspicion of diabetes, the blood test is taken to the glucose level;
- Diagnosis of Raynaud's disease, carried out by cold stimulation.

Analyzes
To determine, for what reason fingers on hands regularly become cold, without carrying out of diagnostics and taking of analyzes it is impossible. In some cases, fingers can become cold due to a disease such as hypothyroidism - the thyroid gland does not produce enough hormones for the body. Another reason that you have cold fingers, can be Raynaud's disease, which manifests itself in the form of periodic vasospasm in the hands. With such a disease, the fingers turn blue, grow numb and are very sore. In some cases, small sores form at the tips of the fingers. This disease is more common in women, although in some cases it can be a symptom of a life-threatening disease - scleroderma.
In order to accurately determine what is the cause of permanent freezing and numbness of the hands, it is necessary to undergo a survey, during which capillaroscopy is performed (to determine and clarify the causes of disturbance in the operation of blood vessels), an echocardiogram and an ECG. Blood tests (general, for fibrinogen, protein fractions, protein) are also submitted, analysis for thyroid hormones (varieties T3, T4). Also, the patient is coagulogrammed and certain blood properties are clarified (its viscosity is determined, how the gluten of erythrocytes and platelets occurs, hematocrit is revealed).
Instrumental diagnostics
To identify the reason that your hands began to often freeze and lose sensitivity, you need to be examined in the clinic. The examination should be complete and comprehensive, as it is difficult to identify the disease, and the reason may even be not one. For example, if it turns out that you have osteochondrosis, then it will be useful to find out the state of your endocrine system and heart.
If you have cold fingers, you should consult several doctors, such as vertebrologist, orthopedist, surgeon, cardiologist, neurologist, endocrinologist. To establish the correct diagnosis of the patient is also a set of procedures. It includes such diagnostic methods:
- MRI of all vertebral departments, as well as joints;
- X-ray of the vertebral column;
- Radiography of joints;
- Ultrasound of blood vessels;
- Encephalography.
There are also laboratory tests:
- General analysis of feces and urine;
- Blood tests (unfolded, sugar, hormones);
- Ultrasonic thyroid;
- Check blood pressure.
Only when the results of all these surveys are obtained will it be possible to talk about determining the reasons why the hands began to lose sensitivity, to become cold and dumb.
Differential diagnosis
People with the problem of constantly freezing hands may suffer from the so-called Raynaud's syndrome. Those who have been diagnosed for the first time should undergo a checkup to determine a differential diagnosis that demonstrates the primary and secondary nature of the revealed pathology.
First, the following points are specified:
- Does the patient show signs of connective tissue disease, most often indicative of Raynaud's syndrome-myalgia, arthritis, skin rash, fever, cardiopulmonary problems, dry skin syndrome;
- Whether the patient took any medications before the examination;
- Do the patient have to undergo any kind of mechanical influences, capable of injuring the brush;
- Do cold fingers have some connection with some changes in position.
The most suitable and effective method for performing differential diagnosis of Raynaud's syndrome is capillaroscopy in the nail bed region. If it shows a change in capillaries in size and quantity, then this may be a sign of systemic scleroderma, which often manifests itself with Reynaud's syndrome. Such symptoms are manifested even at an early stage, so they can form before the appearance of any clinical manifestations of the disease.
Treatment of the cold fingers
Treatment first begins with a change in lifestyle and the atmosphere of the environment. For example, you have to give up nicotine, caffeine and strong brewed tea. You should also include mittens and more warm socks in your wardrobe, especially if you live in a severe northern climate.
If cold fingers are a sign of a neurotic disorder, you will need a quiet home atmosphere without scandals, disputes and conflicts.
If the disease begins to progress, you should consult your doctor so that he or she can prescribe medications that can help you get rid of the symptoms. For example, blood thinners or antispasmodics may be used. Adequate therapy, which will take into account the age and condition of the patient, may be prescribed only by a qualified specialist.
In addition to treatment with medication, methods such as reflex therapy, psycho- and physiotherapy, and massage can be recommended. All of them help to cope with stress within the body, relaxing muscles, removing vascular spasms, contributing to the restoration of psychological balance.
In general, Raynaud's syndrome is not a life-threatening disease, but only if it is detected and treated in time.
Medications
Cope with cold hands syndrome can vasodilator drugs, among which nifedipine, which is taken in such doses - 30-60 mg / day. Also used are other calcium-blocking drugs, such as diltiazem, verapamil and nicardin.
If the disease begins to progress, vasaprostane is used, which is administered intravenously via a dropper (dosage: 20-40 μg alprostadil / 250 ml saline for 2-3 hours, the procedure is performed daily or with a one-day pass, the course consists of 10-20 infusions). Vazaprostan usually lasts about 4-6 months, so you should repeat the course of treatment twice a year.
Quite often in the treatment of vascular diseases, ACE inhibitors are used, among them captopril, which is taken in a three-daily regime in a dosage of 25 mg. Treatment lasts from six months to a year, and maintenance doses are selected individually.
Cold fingers are also treated with ketanserin, which is taken at a daily dosage of 20-60 mg. Since it has good tolerability, it is often prescribed to older people.
In the treatment of this disease, often used drugs that can improve blood properties, reduce its viscosity. Among such drugs - dipyridamole in a dosage of 75+ mg / day; Pentoxifylline at 800-1200 mg / day. Intravenously; course of 10 procedures of infusion through a dropper of rheopolyglucin (a dose of 200-400 ml).
Vitamins
It is not superfluous to include in your constant diet products that include substances and vitamins that can strengthen the vascular system:
- Vitamin C, which can be obtained from citrus fruits, black currant, dog rose, kiwi. It promotes tissue repair, collagen synthesis and regulation of blood circulation;
- Vitamin P, found in pumpkin seeds and nuts. Joint intake of vitamins P and C removes the possibility of oxidation from the latter, and also helps strengthen the capillary walls. Thanks to vitamin P, bruises dissolve better;
- Vitamin PP, contained in eggs, beef meat, bread, liver, various cereals. It improves protein metabolism and nerve work;
- To stimulate blood flow, you need red pepper and chili;
- Vitamin E is also useful if you have cold fingers, as it helps strengthen the walls of blood vessels. It is found in seeds, sprouted wheat grains, whole grain bread, nuts;
Garlic can prevent the appearance of blood clots and reduces the cholesterol in the body;
Ginger, which improves blood circulation. It should be added when cooking fish, stewed meat, soups, and also in tea.
Physiotherapeutic treatment
Usually, such a disease is treated quite a long time, and the treatment process consists of a large set of procedures. Initially, it is necessary to determine the factor, which is an irritant and eliminate it. Patients should fully eat, getting the necessary amount of vitamins, and also to comply with the regime. In some cases, a job change or a place of residence is required.
Cold fingers can be treated in several ways, among which physiotherapeutic procedures:
- local darsonvalization;
- X-ray therapy;
- irradiation of lumbar and upper cervical vertebrae by ultraviolet;
- diathermy;
- application of electrophoresis using calcium or lidase;
- galvanic baths.
Treatment with medications can be prescribed only by a doctor. This is due to the fact that the drugs used in such treatment can affect other systems and organs of the human body. To treat the disease with a conservative method can be several years, until the moment when it completely loses its effectiveness and will not have a positive impact. Further, to improve the patient's condition, surgical methods have to be used.
Alternative treatment of cold fingers
There are many alternative recipes, with which you can get rid of the feeling of cold fingers on your hands.
Add 1 cup boiled water 1/4 tsp. Ground ginger root with a small lemon slice. Leave the drink under the lid for 15 minutes, after which we drink. The procedure should be done every morning on an empty stomach and at night. The remedy will improve the functioning of the intestines and stomach, as well as the movement of blood through the vessels.
Fill a third of a half-liter jar with chopped garlic, pour it with vodka to the neck and close. Put the bank for 2 weeks in a dark place and sometimes shake it. Take the resulting mixture for a month in the morning on an empty stomach, as well as in the daytime and before going to bed in a dosage of 5 drops. At the same time, it should be mixed with 1 teaspoon of boiled water.
If you have cold fingers, mix a quarter of a glass of sugar and the same amount of melted vegetable fat, and rub the resulting mixture into the affected areas. Next, dissolve 2 tbsp. Spoon the salt in 1 liter of heated water and hold hands for 20 minutes in this solution.
Cut 3 pods of hot red pepper, 2 pickles and pour them half a liter of vodka. Send the resulting mixture for a week to a dark place, and then rub it through a sieve and put on your hands. Thanks to this, the blood will flow better to the fingers.

Herbal Treatment
To treat the problem of cold fingers you can use the herbal method.
Take 2 tablespoons of caraway seeds and leaves of a small periwinkle, as well as 4 tablespoons of hawthorn root and 6 tablespoons of herb white calving. All this is mixed and cut into small pieces. We collect a tablespoon of the resulting mixture and fill it with 300ml of boiled water. It is necessary that the solution is infused in a thermos - for 2 hours. Further, we filter it and drink 2 cups a day.
We take 30 g of herb thyme and rue fragrant, as well as 40 g of lemon balm leaves. The preparation of the solution is carried out according to the same principle, which is indicated in the recipe above. The reception is held before meals 3 times a day - 1 tablespoon.
The dyed dyke dilates the vessels well. 1 tsp grass is poured into 600 ml of water, after which the solution is boiled on low heat until the third of the volume evaporates. The mixture is then cooled and filtered. The resulting broth should be drunk 3-4 times a day for 2 tablespoons. In one day.
Extract of hawthorn fruit is sold in 25ml bottles. It should be taken 3-4 times daily before meals. The dosage is 30 drops.
Extract from Leonurus, which is taken daily 3-4 times in a dose of 40-50 drops. It is good for heart palpitations, pain in the heart, nervous shock and, in its effectiveness, is superior to valerian.
Homeopathy
Homeopathic remedies also help to cure cold fingers. Such drugs are the drugs described below.
Kapilar, which regulates the work of blood vessels and tones the body. It is used to treat disorders in the work of capillaries. In the process of treatment of cardiovascular diseases, it is taken 2 tablets / 4 times daily. Has no side effects and contraindications.
Ginkgo-Biloba treats diseases in which peripheral blood flow and microcirculation is disturbed (cold fingers). Capsule is taken whole, not chewing, before eating. Dosage: daily 1-2 per day for 1-2 capsules. The treatment course lasts at least 3 months. Patients who are hypersensitive to certain components of the drug may have an allergy or gastrointestinal problems. Also, do not take the drug before surgery or epileptic patients.
Arteria-Hel helps with atherosclerosis and blood flow disorders in the brain. It is not recommended to take thyroid glands in cases of diseases. Take the drug 3 times a day for 10 drops. The medicine has no side effects, without complications it combines in conjunction with other medicines.
Operative treatment
In case of such a disease - cold fingers - surgical intervention is only justified in very rare cases. Such a case can be, for example, if the vessels were mechanically compressed from the outside.
It should also be noted that, in and of itself, the operation of sympathectomy basically produces only minor results, and even for a short time.
Surgical treatment is carried out in the following way - when the disturbance becomes threatening to health, the sympathetic nerve is cut. Basically such operations are carried out through the thorax (this method is also called the operation of Kuks). In this case, the interruption of infected nerve fibers is performed by removing certain nerve ganglia.
Although at first such a measure gives a serious improvement, after a while the signs of the disease appear again, and it is not clear for what reason - because of the operation itself, or it is an independent reaction of nerve endings.
It should also be remembered that sometimes surgical intervention will not just be useless, but can even do worse than it was before it. It is absolutely contraindicated to resort to such measures in case of scleroderma.
Prevention
In order to prevent the disease, you need to follow some simple rules.
It is more to move - it disperses blood along the vessels and supports them in an expanded state. For example, it will be very effective to make vigorous movements before going out into the cold.
To train vessels by alternating cold and heat, since a constant same temperature worsens the mechanisms of thermoregulation. Perfect souls will be perfect, grinding with snow. If you start with cold procedures at once, it's hard for you to try, first try contrast baths for the feet and hands. Thus, it is possible to increase the adaptability to finding in the cold.
It will be useful to eat mackerel, herring and other fatty fish to remove pain in the vessels of the hands. In addition, this fish helps improve blood circulation. In winter and autumn it should be eaten regularly.
If you have cold fingers, try to drink more to increase the volume of blood circulating through the blood vessels. Before leaving home in winter it is good to drink a large cup of hot tea with honey or broth. Tincture of rose hips is also useful. Do not drink coffee and other drinks that have caffeine, at least until the onset of warm weather.
Forecast
Cold fingers can have a positive prognosis in the case when the treatment of this disease begins on time. The difficulty is that often this symptom is not taken seriously, and at first the person does not pay any attention to him. But it often turns out that the fingers on the hands become cold because of some serious illness.
So, when the first signs of the problem appear, one should be examined and start treating the disease, without delaying later. If you run this thing, you can get serious complications, especially if the cause is Raynaud's disease. Not rendered in time help in the future can lead to the fact that the movement of the fingers will become limited.
The cause of the problem can also be disorders in the spine, which also should not be allowed to go wild. A positive prognosis in this case can also be expected only with the timely start of treatment. Most people prefer not to go to the hospital until the problem becomes more than serious, which is why it is much more difficult to fight the disease. There are some cases when the symptoms of the disease can no longer be disposed of in any other way than the operation.
