In some diseases, the symptomatology is poorly manifested and for years it is not possible to mean a developing ailment. Allergy symptoms are immediate, which contributes to its early diagnosis. What can not be said about the detection of an allergen. It can take a very long time to install, especially if the allergen is not single, but combined or there is a cross-allergy.
Allergy symptoms have almost the same mechanism and proceeds according to several principles:
- skin (urticaria, dermatitis),
- Respiratory (rhinitis, conjunctivitis, bronchial asthma);
- aggressive (angioedema, anaphylactic shock).
This division is very conditional and is based on the prevailing complex of symptoms. If the organism is predisposed to allergies, then its manifestations can not be limited only to a certain area, the whole organism is involved in the process.
Allergy: symptoms and their effect on the body
The weakening of an organism burdened by a hereditary predisposition to allergies leads to the fact that the easiest form of allergy can lead to grave consequences.
If the defenses of the body are weak, then the allergy symptoms express brightly, with itching and redness of the body parts, with the appearance of a small rash or blisters. Blisters and blisters should be separated. Vesicles appearing on the skin, contain a liquid, and the blisters completely consist of a leathery eminence, without the content of liquid. With allergic skin reactions, mostly, blisters occur.
The pruritus causes the combed areas to be combed, thus, into the small cracks that form during the combs, an abscess infection enters, and in this situation, the vesicles can join. The interaction of these symptoms leads to the fact that the skin begins to dry, peel off and quickly becomes covered with a crust that easily crackles in any movements, causing pain.
Skin reactions are associated with swelling of the nasopharyngeal mucosa, making breathing more difficult. Edema creates a high-pressure area, which not only complicates breathing, but also leads to the onset of headaches. Headaches, itchy skin and gastrointestinal problems that can be associated with food or drug allergies all lead to nervous exhaustion and the development of depression.
Allergy symptoms seem to accumulate and string one on another. At the same time, the rate of allergy development depends directly on both the strength of the allergen and the susceptibility of the organism. For example, a bee or wasp sting, with a high allergic sensitivity, can lead to the immediate development of anaphylactic shock and the onset of a lethal outcome within 10 minutes. With the same degree of susceptibility, the same organism gives a less severe allergic reaction, for example, to pollen. Despite the fact that every manifestation of an allergy has strictly individual characteristics, it is still possible to predict the process of its development and have time to anticipate complex symptomatic manifestations.
What if there are allergy symptoms?
To begin with, analyze the situation and determine at what point the first signs were seen that suggested that it was the allergy symptoms that you are experiencing. Listen to your body and understand what triggered such a stormy reaction on his part. Referring to an appointment with an allergist, what should be done in the shortest time possible, it is worthwhile to conduct a conversation with parents or close relatives, in order to ascertain the hereditary predisposition to allergic reactions. If this situation occurs for the first time, then to learn their hereditary characteristics will be very useful. To pass a full course of allergological examination at the time of detection of an allergen.
It is difficult to treat an allergy, but the effectiveness of treatment and the frequency of relapses will depend only on the patient himself. Keeping food diaries, good awareness of your health and those allergens that can undermine it, precise directions of sources of allergy in medical interventions, strict adherence to the diet and the course of prescribed medications are the list of the main measures that must be followed at all times. Allergy symptoms will not decrease in itself, they need to be combated or directed by all means, using all possible means and methods, in order to prevent its occurrence.
