What diseases can cause pain in the fallopian tubes?
- Endosalpingitis - inflammation of the mucous membrane of the fallopian tubes. Concomitant symptoms: hyperemia, puffiness, worsening of microcirculation with further deformation of cells. The process most often develops from two sides, although a one-sided lesion is possible, in particular when using an intrauterine device. Inflammatory process affects the muscular and serous membrane of the tubes, then the infection spreads into the abdominal cavity and causes damage to the epithelium of the ovary and the nearby peritoneum.
- Salpingoophoritis is an inflammatory process that occurs in the appendages of the uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries. The consequence of such a disease can be an inability to fertilize. Such a disease can be a consequence of pathologies of the pelvic organs, in particular, if the disease has not been cured completely. This pathology is characterized by the formation of infiltrates, a malfunction of the mucosa and muscle membranes of the fallopian tubes, a narrowing of the lumen of the vessels. Symptoms: dull or aching pain in the fallopian tubes and in the lower abdomen, in the groin and vagina.
- Oophoritis is an inflammation of the ovaries. Often occurs along with inflammation of the fallopian tubes. Causes: abortion, menstruation, childbirth in combination with infections of various origins. The main signs of the disease are violations of urination, pain in the fallopian tubes, in the lower abdomen, purulent discharge, discomfort or pain during sexual intercourse. Treatment is prescribed depending on the nature and course of the disease. The patient is prescribed rest, in the first days it is possible to apply ice to the lower abdomen, the use of anesthetics and antibacterial drugs, sulfonamides, calcium chloride, physiotherapy (for example, local application of quartz) is indicated.
- Fluid in the fallopian tubes (simple or follicular). In the pipes, one to several closed cavities are formed, in which the secretion of the fallopian tubes accumulates, as a result of which the walls of the tubes expand and become thinner. In the presence of adhesions, fluid accumulates again, causing inflammation in all genital organs. The liquid that appears in the tubes causes bacteria to multiply and is a constant agent of infection. With a protracted hydrosalpinx, connective tissue tissues are formed, which provoke chronic pain.
How to recognize the pain in the fallopian tubes?
The diagnosis is based on the results of ultrasound. As a treatment, lazer phoresis, electrophotophoresis, vitamin-mineral complexes and homeopathic preparations are prescribed.
The cause of pain in the fallopian tubes can be intestinal infection, brought from the rectum, as well as sexually transmitted diseases. Penetrating into the fallopian tube, the bacteria cause adhesive processes, as a result of which the egg can not move freely through the fallopian tube. In order to prevent the disease, it is necessary to follow the methods of contraception, as well as wear comfortable underwear made of natural fabrics.
What should I do if I have pain in the fallopian tubes?
Complex therapy in the presence of such a sign as pain in the fallopian tubes, is appointed based on the overall picture of the disease on the basis of a full survey conducted by a gynecologist, and may include the appointment of antibacterial drugs, vitamin complexes, physiotherapy procedures and homeopathic medicines.
Pain in the fallopian tubes can accompany all of the above pathologies, combined with pain in the abdomen, in the groin, in the lower back, temperature, nausea. For timely diagnosis and competent treatment, seek help from a gynecologist.
