An allergy, poisoning, injury, or a viper bite can ruin your outdoor recreation. To minimize negative consequences, you need to be prepared for everything in advance, and be able to provide emergency assistance and respond adequately in a critical situation. Sometimes this can save a person's life.

A viper bite is a common occurrence that is increasingly encountered in modern medicine. Vipers live mainly in forested areas and thickets. Their peak activity occurs in the spring (April, May). During this period, snakes wake up after hibernation and have offspring.

It is highly recommended not to disturb snakes at this time, as they will be forced to attack for self-defense and protection. It is important to understand that snakes never attack on their own, they only defend themselves if they are in danger. Therefore, when confronted with a snake, it is better not to touch it, give it a chance to escape.

Standard Treatment for Viper Bites

There are few ways to treat viper bites, all of them are standard. The effectiveness of the treatment depends on how correctly and quickly the first aid was provided. So, you need to suck out the poison immediately after the bite. Then, if possible, the "Antigadyuka" serum is administered. It begins to act within a few hours, after which the poison is removed from the body and neutralized.

After the threat to life has passed, the poison has been neutralized, they begin to stabilize the main vital signs. At this stage, the treatment can already be quite varied. They mainly use etiological therapy, which is aimed at eliminating the cause of the development of concomitant pathologies. Detoxification therapy is carried out. Local treatment is required, aimed at eliminating the consequences of the bite.

It is also important to eliminate irritating factors that provoke further development of the pathological process. For example, if a person has a weak liver, it is necessary to provide it with reliable support. This is due to the fact that under the influence of poison, any liver pathologies develop very quickly, since it is the main organ that neutralizes the action of toxins and removes them. This negatively affects the liver itself.

An inflammatory process may develop. As a result, toxic hepatitis is quite common. It is necessary to neutralize the poison, remove its remains from the body. In some cases, this is enough to eliminate the pathology, prevent further progression.

Most often, treatment is complex, since monotherapy of one problem is not always able to completely eliminate the pathology. The therapy mainly includes drug treatment, physiotherapy, folk and homeopathic remedies, local treatment (treatment of the snake bite site). The basis of treatment is drug treatment, which consists of the use of drugs of local and systematic action. Mainly drugs are used that can support the liver (hepatoprotectors), drugs that reduce the load on the heart, as well as drugs that normalize blood circulation.

Local treatment involves treating the skin with special ointments and solutions that promote healing of the bite site. With regular use of medications and compliance with all necessary recommendations, the treatment will be quite effective.

Locally, medical procedures such as cryotherapy, in which damaged areas of the skin are frozen with liquid nitrogen, have proven themselves to be effective. Peeling is used to exfoliate the upper layers of the skin. To prevent inflammation and infection, various ointments are used, both hormonal and non-hormonal. In some cases, ointments of plant origin may be required.

Often, an acute inflammatory process and suppuration develops at the site of the bite. If the cause is an infection or inflammation, antiviral, antibacterial, or anti-inflammatory therapy is prescribed accordingly.

Allergies often develop, both locally and systemically. When a general allergic reaction develops, antihistamines are prescribed. When the bite site is irritated, there is inflammation and redness of an allergic nature, antiallergic, antihistamine ointments and creams for external use are prescribed.

It is also important to adjust your diet and choose the appropriate diet, since without proper nutrition and daily routine, full recovery is impossible.

What to do if bitten by a viper?

The first thing you need to do is suck out the poison. You need to start sucking out the poison as quickly as possible, immediately after the bite.

This is due to the fact that the poison is quickly absorbed and then spreads throughout the body. If the poison has been absorbed into the blood, it has already begun its toxic effect, and there is no point in sucking it out. Usually, absorption occurs after 3-5 minutes.

Suction is performed as follows: the skin around the bite is gathered into a fold, after which it is squeezed. Squeezing should be done until drops of blood appear. Then we begin to suck. In this case, the movements should be sharp and short. The biological material that is removed from the wound during suction must be spat out. The duration of suction should be at least 15 minutes. Even if it seems that there is no more poison in the wound.

But it is necessary to take into account that the appearance of swelling indicates that the suction can be stopped, since the poison has been absorbed into the surrounding tissues, which caused the swelling. Any person who is nearby can suction. But the victim can also provide first aid to himself.

A more extreme option is to suck out the poison through a cut in the wound surface. So, take a sharp knife and cut the bite surface with small, sharp movements. This will allow you to squeeze out the poison along with the blood. This way, you can release about a third of the poison.

It is necessary to disinfect the knife to avoid infection and worsening the situation. So, the best means of disinfection and decontamination is fire. Therefore, it is necessary to burn (calcine) the knife in the fire, and only then begin to make a cut.

It is not recommended to wash the knife in water, since water contains a large amount of microflora, contamination and various additives, which can cause negative reactions, as well as become the cause of infection, and, accordingly, lead to the development of an inflammatory and infectious disease. The most dangerous infectious disease in this case is tetanus, in which bacteria enter the blood and cause an inflammatory reaction. Tetanus is dangerous, it is a fatal disease.

If the victim is not the one providing assistance, it is necessary to rinse the mouth with warm water, since saliva can contain various infections. It is better to use a disinfectant - rinse the mouth with potassium permanganate or a light solution of hydrogen peroxide.

It is necessary to contact a doctor, as further therapy is required. First aid alone is not enough to prevent negative consequences. The best option is to call an ambulance. Since doctors will immediately administer the "Antigadyuk" serum. This is a remedy that helps neutralize the poison (antitoxic serum).

After its introduction, further antitoxic therapy is required, observation by a doctor who controls the main vital signs. It is necessary to treat the bite site in order to avoid infection, development of the inflammatory process. It is also important to drink a lot, administer glucose and other supporting substances if necessary. Nutrition should be gentle, dietary (for people in the rehabilitation period). Usually, a viper bite goes away on the 5-6th day, provided that the treatment is correct.

When treating a bite of a chess viper, complex therapy is recommended, which includes medication, physiotherapy, folk and homeopathic remedies, herbal preparations. Before using any unconventional methods, you should definitely consult a doctor, consult, since self-medication can be dangerous and will only worsen the situation.

First aid

If you encounter this snake and it bites, you can't delay. You need to provide first aid as quickly as possible. The effectiveness of further treatment and the speed of recovery depend on how quickly and correctly first aid was provided. So, first of all, you need to neutralize and remove the poison. To do this, it is recommended to suck it out. At the same time, you should not cauterize the wound surface, since this will only interfere with the healing of the bite site and will prevent the removal of the poison.

After the poison has been sucked out, an antidote must be administered. The "Antigadyuka" serum is used, which destroys and removes the toxin from the body. However, by the time the serum takes effect, irreversible consequences may already have occurred in the body. Therefore, the patient is hospitalized for further treatment. First of all, detoxification therapy is carried out, which is aimed at completely eliminating the toxin from the body, neutralizing it and removing it from the body.

Then, maintenance therapy is carried out, the essence of which is reduced to the introduction of nutritional and maintenance drugs into the body. Most often, this means infusion therapy, which allows avoiding excessive load on the gastrointestinal tract, and also allows for the rapid delivery of necessary substances to those organs and tissues that need them. The basis of infusion therapy is Ringer's solution, glucose, sodium chloride.

In order to accelerate the removal of toxins, residues of toxin breakdown products, and side metabolites from the body, diuretics and sorbents are administered. The main drugs of choice are Furosemide and Triphas.

In almost all cases, the administration of antihistamines is required, since the bite is almost always accompanied by the release of a large amount of histamine, which is the main mediator of inflammation. It is due to the release of histamine that the inflammatory process develops, the infection process spreads and progresses, swelling increases, and an allergic reaction develops.

The most severe form of immediate allergic reaction is anaphylactic shock. This is a severe condition that is accompanied by a sharp drop in blood pressure, hypoxia, respiratory failure, and a decrease in heart rate. Dizziness and loss of consciousness may occur. The most effective way to administer drugs is intramuscular injection, since in this way the drug is quickly included in metabolic processes, in tissue metabolism, which leads to a rapid decrease in the inflammatory process. It is recommended to administer an antihistamine at the scene of the incident, before the ambulance arrives. If this is not done, it is necessary to inform the doctor.

During treatment, the patient is required to be vaccinated against tetanus, regardless of whether the patient has been vaccinated before. This is due to the fact that any snake can be a carrier of the tetanus pathogen.

The protocol for treating a viper bite also includes mandatory administration of glucocorticosteroids, which have a powerful anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effect. These drugs include prednisolone, prednisolone, and dexamethasone. The drugs can be administered orally to provide a systemic effect, and can also have a local effect at the tissue level.

Sometimes, a purulent-septic, inflammatory process develops as a complication. To avoid the progression of the purulent process and prevent the development of sepsis, antibiotic therapy is used. First of all, broad-spectrum antibiotics are chosen, since they are almost universal: effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms. Then, a bacteriological study can be carried out, as a result of which a specific pathogen will be isolated and its sensitivity to antibacterial drugs will be determined. This will allow you to select the optimal dosage and concentration of the substance.

Since a snake bite significantly increases the risk of developing renal, hepatic and cardiac failure, appropriate preventive therapy is carried out. This is due to the fact that the toxin creates an additional burden on the body, primarily on the kidneys, liver and heart. First of all, hepatoprotectors are prescribed, in particular, berlition, hepatif. The main burden falls on the liver, since it neutralizes the toxin and ensures its removal. In this case, the main liver tissue suffers, hepatocytes are damaged and die, in some cases, they can degenerate, transform. Severe intoxication can lead to damage to internal organs, disruption of their functions, circulatory disorders, as well as blood composition, hematopoiesis function. A procedure such as hemodialysis may be required.

Heart failure may also require serious treatment. First of all, codiamine is prescribed. Caffeine, appropriate procedures are carried out. In some cases, the toxin can provoke bleeding. In this case, the use of powerful hemostatic agents may be required. If they are ineffective, a blood transfusion may be necessary. Sometimes, with circulatory disorders, additional therapy may be required to eliminate such adverse effects as cramps, tremors, and shaking.

When bitten by a Gaboon viper, assistance is of little use, but it is still necessary to try to save the person. It is necessary to try to remove the poison from the body by any means. Suctioning is ineffective, since the bite is very deep. You can try to make an incision and release the poison along with the blood. If there is an antidote, it must be administered immediately. An ambulance should be called, and the victim should be kept completely still. This will slow down the absorption of the poison and its spread throughout the body. You can try to provide all possible assistance to the victim.

There are urgent measures that need to be taken immediately - from 15 to 30 seconds, depending on the speed of metabolism of the victim, and also depending on the depth of the bite. Help must be provided immediately - an adrenaline injection is given to the heart, the bite site is immediately clamped (to prevent the development and further absorption of the poison). You should also immediately remove the poison through the cut. If you decide to try to suck out the poison, you must spit it out immediately so that it does not affect the mucous membrane and does not begin to be absorbed. After this, an antidote is administered (when traveling in such places, you should always have a first aid kit with you, which will include special antidotes for snake bites).

Any bite is accompanied by severe swelling, irritation, burning, and spots at the site of the bite. If swelling or spots appear that itch a lot and are accompanied by burning, antiallergic drugs are given. This will also help avoid severe swelling, anaphylactic shock, progression of swelling and tissue swelling, and suffocation. Any antiallergic drug will do.

For example, suprastin has proven itself well. It is taken in a large lethal dose of 2-3 tablets, depending on the severity of the disease and the degree of symptoms. It is also possible to give the victim another 1-2 tablets after 1-2 hours (if there is no fatal outcome), then one tablet every 2-3 hours.

If suprastin is ineffective, it is recommended to take loratadine. This is a stronger remedy, and also refers to prolonged-action drugs. It is taken 1 tablet per day, since this is a drug that acts within 24 hours. It is not recommended to exceed the dosage, since severe intoxication may develop. But in case of a viper bite, it is allowed to use two tablets at the same time (maximum permissible concentration). It is recommended to have both drugs with you during the hike, especially if you are planning a trip to countries where this type of snake lives.

Zinc ointment may be recommended locally. It is applied in a thick layer to the skin at the site of the bite, rubbing thoroughly. First, apply immediately after the bite (after the poison has been released). Then, after 20 minutes, reapply, removing the remaining ointment, then after another 10 minutes. Leave on the skin until completely absorbed. The ointment effectively eliminates any manifestations of unwanted allergic and inflammatory reactions, and also helps to remove inflammation, prevent the addition and further spread of infection, and partially slows the spread of poison.

In the future, to prevent infection, especially if deep cutting of damaged tissues was used, antibiotic therapy is immediately prescribed. In this case, it is recommended to take broad-spectrum antibiotics with a high degree of activity against a large number of microorganisms.

For example, ciprofloxacin is quite effective, it will quickly get rid of a bacterial infection and reduce or completely remove any signs of suppuration, sepsis. It is recommended to take about 2 tablets at the first dose (1000 mg) once. On the second day, 500 mg is prescribed, on the third - also 500 mg. The minimum course is treatment for three days. If necessary, the course of treatment can be extended. It is recommended to take the full course, since the bacteria may not be completely killed, and this cannot be allowed, since as a result of the bite, the body is already in a weakened state, under stress, and with reduced immunity. As a result, those bacteria that are not killed will become resistant, and the pathological process will only intensify, the infection can spread to other parts of the body, up to the development of sepsis and complete blood poisoning, which is also a fatal condition.

Often, intoxication of the body develops against the background of a bite, which requires immediate detoxification therapy. To eliminate toxins and metabolic products from the body, it is recommended to take Enterosgel. For oral administration on the first day, 2-3 tablespoons of the product are dissolved in a glass of water and drunk in one or two doses. Then the dosage is reduced to 1 tablespoon per dose. On the first day, you need to drink the drug 3-4 times, then you can move on to taking it twice a day. As a result, the body is cleansed, the symptoms of poisoning gradually disappear.

If bitten by a noisy viper, first aid must be provided as quickly as possible. There is no time to hesitate in this case: every second counts, which can cost the victim his life. First aid must be provided within the first 30 seconds after the bite. Otherwise, its effectiveness is reduced and a fatal outcome may occur.

First, you need to suck out the poison, then administer an antidote that will help neutralize the poison. Then, after emergency care has been provided, you can begin supportive and restorative therapy. First of all, it is necessary to monitor the state of the main vital signs.

At the recovery stage, complex therapy may be required, which includes medication, physiotherapy, folk and homeopathic remedies, as well as various herbal preparations.

Physiotherapeutic means are quite effective and allow to overcome all the main manifestations and symptoms of the disease, consequences of the bite in a relatively short time. It is used as part of complex therapy, or after the main vital signs have returned to normal, but scars from the bite remain on the skin.

Most often, physiotherapy is aimed at eliminating external damage, scars that remained after a bite, and restoring internal damage that arose as a result of a damaging bite, poisoning. Physiotherapy also helps overcome the consequences of bites that affected internal organs: damage to the kidneys, liver, blood disorders, and the consequences of intoxication.

The main methods of physiotherapeutic treatment are ultrasound, microcurrents, and waves of various lengths. Electrophoresis is used. The essence of this method is that it is used to introduce drugs directly into the damaged tissue. The depth of their penetration is regulated by microcurrent.

Homeopathic remedies are widely used, which allow not only to overcome the symptoms of external damage, but also to cope with the symptoms of poisoning at the systemic level. However, they are also quite dangerous, especially if used incorrectly. Therefore, it is important to follow all precautions. First, you need to follow all the doctor's recommendations, adhere to the prescribed scheme. This is very important, since the body after a snake bite is weakened, it has a high level of intoxication processes, which negatively affect both the tissue and the body level as a whole.

Secondly, it is recommended to select medications only after all necessary diagnostics have been carried out and the diagnosis has been accurately determined, all the features and the area of damage to surrounding tissues and organs have been determined. Otherwise, side effects may occur, up to and including deterioration of the condition and progression of the disease. This occurs especially intensively against the background of a high level of intoxication processes in the body, as well as against the background of reduced immunity.

A rub of tar and honey will help quickly eliminate inflammation, swelling, pain, spots, and irritation. Take 5 ml of pure tar, mix with a tablespoon of honey, and stir until a homogeneous mass is formed. Then rub the product into the spots until heat appears. This product can be applied under a compress (put cellophane on top of the ointment, then a thin layer of regular fabric on top of it, then an insulated fabric, and on top of that a woolen scarf or shawl). Keep the compress for 30 minutes. Remove and lubricate with Vaseline or another oil-based product.

Another ointment is also used to eliminate the consequences of a bite. You need to take the well-known balm "Zvezdochka" as a base, mix it with 1 tablespoon of Vaseline or glycerin, add half a teaspoon of ground coffee. Mix everything thoroughly until a homogeneous state is formed, apply a thin layer to the affected area of the body.

The following oil has also proven itself to be good for external use: take regular baby cream as a base (about 100 ml), add one teaspoon of ground cinnamon, a pinch of ground ginger, a pinch of ground nutmeg, a teaspoon of ground coffee. Mix everything thoroughly, apply a thin layer to the surface of the affected area.

Another ointment can be used: melted butter is used as a base, to which a few drops of fir extract, 2-3 drops of sage essential oil, a few drops of sea buckthorn oil and one tablespoon of jojoba are added. All this is heated in a water bath. Mix thoroughly, allow to boil for 30-40 seconds, and then remove. Allow to cool to a warm state (closer to hot), after which apply a thin layer to the skin, up to 5 times a day. It is better to use under a compress: put a layer of cellophane on top, a layer of linen fabric, a layer of warm woolen fabric.

There is another recipe that allows you to deeply warm up the tissues and quickly eliminate the bite of a viper and its consequences. Take 10 tablespoons of purified sand, mix with 5 tablespoons of pure sea buckthorn oil, 2 tablespoons of ectericide, 2-3 tablespoons of castor oil and 1 tablespoon of burdock oil. All this must be infused for half an hour. Mix before applying, apply to damaged areas up to 3 times a day. You can simply apply a thin layer to the skin, you can use it as a base for a compress. Keep the compress for 30 minutes. After removing, lubricate the skin with a thin layer of baby cream or Vaseline.

Antidote for viper bite

There is a special serum that neutralizes the effect of viper venom. It is called "Antigadyuka" and is an antidote. If you do not have this serum with you during the hike, you need to call an ambulance or go to the nearest medical facility. The components included in the serum neutralize the poison. The antidote should be administered as quickly as possible. It will be most effective if administered within the first 15-20 minutes after the bite.

The drug should not be expected to take effect immediately; it begins to have a positive effect only a few hours after administration. During this time, you need to be under the supervision of a doctor. Additional treatment may be required, which will be aimed at neutralizing the poison and maintaining the main vital signs.

What to inject for a viper bite?

The main remedy that is injected immediately after a snake bite is the antitoxic serum "Antigadyuka". It must be injected strictly according to the instructions, and the sooner the better, since the poison begins to act in the first minutes after entering the body. This remedy is injected at the stage of providing emergency care.

After this, the victim must be hospitalized. In a medical institution, treatment is carried out in accordance with the symptoms and the pathogenetic process that is currently observed.

For example, there is often a need to undergo a course of antibiotic therapy, during which antibiotics of various spectrums of action are injected. Most often, the need to prescribe antibiotics arises in the case of infection of the wound, development of a strong inflammatory process, edema. In this case, it is recommended to take broad-spectrum antibiotics. For example, ciprofloxacin, amoxiclav will quickly get rid of a bacterial infection and reduce or completely remove the scar from the bite, the inflammatory process in this area.

These antibiotics are recommended to be injected at a concentration of 500 mg of the active substance at a time. Usually, the injection is normally given once a day for three days. It is very important to undergo the full course of treatment, for the full three days, since the bacteria may not be completely killed. And this is dangerous due to the fact that they will subsequently acquire resistance, and the pathological process will only intensify.

The most dangerous complication is gangrene, tissue necrosis around the bite site, and sepsis, in which the infection spreads to neighboring areas first, and then enters the bloodstream, forming new foci of infection in other organs. This condition is also known as blood poisoning and is often fatal.

In order to relieve the inflammatory process, prevent the development of infection and prevent necrotic phenomena, long-term therapy may be required. Various ointments have a particularly positive effect. For example, prednisolone has proven itself well in case of a viper bite as a remedy that quickly relieves swelling, inflammation and prevents further deterioration of the condition.

Also, in case of a severe allergic reaction, severe swelling, antiallergic drugs are injected, for example, suprastin, euphyllin and others.

Viper Bite Pills

It is not recommended to use any tablets, since in combination with the poison they can form stable complexes that only increase the poisoning and can cause severe impairment of kidney and liver function. They also increase the load on the heart. The exception is antiallergic (antihistamine) drugs, which prevent the development of edema, allergic reactions, and anaphylactic shock.

For example, the first drug of choice is suprastin. It is taken 1 tablet 2-3 times a day, depending on the severity of the bite and the severity of symptoms. In case of a severe attack of allergy, severe swelling, you can take 2 tablets once, then after 5-6 hours - 2 more, after another 6 hours - 1 tablet. After this, you need to immediately call an ambulance, since the bite requires professional treatment. Self-medication can be dangerous.

If suprastin is ineffective, it is recommended to take loratodin. It is taken 1 tablet per day, since it is a prolonged-action drug that acts during the day. In case of a strong reaction, you can drink it twice a day, but with a mandatory interval of 12 hours between doses. It is not recommended to exceed the dosage, since severe intoxication may develop.

After the main symptoms have been removed, the threat to life has passed, and even the main detoxification therapy has been carried out, local medications can be used. Thus, zinc ointment can be recommended locally. It is applied in a thin layer to the skin. Rub in for several minutes until completely absorbed. Apply up to three times a day. The ointment eliminates the symptoms of a bite well, and also allows you to remove inflammation, prevent the addition and further spread of infection, relieves itching, irritation, burning, swelling, redness.

To eliminate toxins and metabolic products from the body, it is recommended to take Enterosgel. For oral administration, dissolve 1 tablespoon of the product in a glass of water and drink in one or two doses. As a result, the body is cleansed and restored. It is recommended to take it within a month after the main therapy. It cannot be taken together with other drugs, since their effect becomes meaningless. Enterosgel binds and removes toxins and chemicals, including drugs.

Physiotherapy treatment

Physiotherapy, of course, is not a first aid measure. It is used at the hospital stage as part of complex therapy, or during the recovery period. Physiotherapy helps to cope with the consequences of a bite quite effectively and in a short time, to restore the body.

It is used as part of complex therapy, or after the main treatment has been completed, but spots and scars from the bite remain on the skin, or in the event that some functional disorders of the internal organs make themselves known.

The main methods of physiotherapeutic treatment are ultrasound, microcurrents, waves of different lengths, and light radiation. Electrophoresis is used, with the help of which drugs are introduced directly into the damaged tissue. The depth of their penetration is regulated by microcurrent. Cryoprocedures, thermal procedures, and peelings are indicated. Diamond peeling and grinding are used. Laser procedures, phototherapy, hydromassage baths, and aromatherapy have proven themselves well.

Folk remedies

Let's look at some recipes that have proven themselves to be effective in relieving inflammation and swelling.

  • Recipe No. 1.

Birch tar with chalk powder quickly eliminates inflammation and reduces visible holes and wounds after a snake bite. To prepare this remedy, place a teaspoon of chalk, previously crushed into powder, in a small bowl of tar melted in a water bath. If you cannot melt the tar completely, you need to add a small amount of water (the amount - see for yourself, so that the water covers the tar from above and helps it melt). Then thoroughly mix this entire mixture and apply to the skin 3-4 times a day until the symptoms disappear completely.

  • Recipe No. 2.

Sea buckthorn oil allows you to quickly heal wounds, damage, helps to eliminate traces and scars in a short period. Take a glass of sea buckthorn oil and pour 2 tablespoons of alcohol, which helps to extract valuable substances and vitamins from sea buckthorn. Allow it to brew under a tightly closed lid for 2-3 hours, after which you can rub it into the bite site until completely absorbed.

  • Recipe No. 3.

Cabbage has long been known as a remedy that helps to quickly relieve inflammation, cure the inflammatory process, and eliminate the effects of intoxication. A fresh cabbage leaf is pre-soaked in boiling water, shaken off and applied to the bite site. You can hold it for several minutes, pressing it tightly with your hand. But you can also use cabbage as a compress. To do this, wrap the cabbage leaf tightly with a wide bandage and cover it with dry heat. Keep this compress for an hour.

  • Recipe No. 4.

The main anti-inflammatory agent of natural origin is sage. Its advantage is that it is suitable for both internal and external use. Sage is used in the form of a decoction or infusion.

To prepare the decoction, add one tablespoon of the herb to a glass of boiling water. Pour in and brew for an hour. It is best to keep it in a thermos. Then divide it into 2 halves. Drink one half of the glass during the day, in small sips, and use the other half to lubricate the affected areas.

Before lubrication, it is necessary to warm it up (the decoction should be warm). On the first day, lubricate every 30 minutes, on the second day, every 1.5-2 hours. Then move on to three-time lubrication until the pain symptoms, irritation and redness completely disappear.

To prepare the infusion, pour about 2 tablespoons of sage herb with a glass of vodka or alcohol, place in a dark place for two days. After that, you can drink a tablespoon three times a day, and also use it to rub the place where the viper bite was.
