Ointments from cracks on the heels
Of course, pharmacy ointments can be quite effective. Nevertheless, it is not always possible to acquire them. Then people's means come to help. The house can be pretty quickly, and without much effort to prepare almost any ointment. Here are recipes that have long been used in folk medicine.
- Recipe number 1. Ointment for sea buckthorn
Sea-buckthorn is the most famous remedy, which has a smart wound-healing effect. This can be achieved due to the high content of active ingredients in sea-buckthorn, as well as vitamin and mineral complexes. Seabuckthorn is rich in carotenoids, which give it an orange color, and also provide basic properties, including the ability to quickly heal wounds on the skin surface, eliminate any damage, cracks, trauma. Also, sea buckthorn has antiseptic properties: it kills a pathogenic microflora, which in almost all cases acts as the main source of infection and inflammation.
To prepare the ointment is recommended to take about 200 grams of clean, handled berries of sea-buckthorn. They must be thoroughly rinsed, put in a deep dish and knead until the oil appears. You can also grate the berries on a grater, but it will be less convenient. Some prefer to use a blender or mini juicer. The method does not matter, since the main task is to get the oil.
After the oil is extracted, it must be kept in a cool place (preferably in the refrigerator) for an hour. Then take the starch separately, brew it with water. For one tablespoon of starch is taken a glass of hot water. All this is mixed, thoroughly mixed until warm, until the starch dissolves and the resulting mass becomes sticky, jelly-like.
Then put the resulting mass on the fire, begin to slowly heat up. With constant stirring, slowly introduce sea buckthorn oil, which has already stood an hour in the refrigerator. All this stirs, not leading up to a boil. Then remove from heat, press under the closed lid for 1-2 hours.
Apply 3-4 times a day, applying a thin layer on the damaged heel, directly on the heels. The loan should lie down for at least 10-15 minutes. You can apply a compress on top: the bandage is soaked in the prepared ointment, applied to the crack, then cellophane is applied from above. On the cellophane layer is placed a layer of soft, preferably linen fabric, on top make another layer - dry heat (woolen cloth). It is recommended to maintain such a compress for at least 30 minutes, but not more than 1 hour.
