Chalasia cardia - congenital insufficiency of the cardiac esophagus due to underdevelopment of intramural sympathetic ganglion cells.

Symptoms of cardia khalasia
Owing to the insufficiency of the cardial section of the esophagus, there is a low-intensity flow of unrefined milk after feeding, which increases with a deep inspiration or a low position of the head. Occasionally, vomiting is noted as a "flow". Complications are the same as with a congenital short esophagus.
Diagnosis of cardia khalasia
The diagnosis is based on the clinical picture, data of fibro-esophagogastro-scopia, contrast study of the esophagus.
Treatment of cardia khalasia
Treatment is surgical.
