Pregnancy is a natural process for the female body, accompanied by a reorganization of all metabolic reactions under the influence of hormones. Changes in the hormonal background lead to the emergence of mental lability. A woman becomes irritable, tearful, nervous, more sensitive to the impact of stressful situations. This mental imbalance is often the cause of intense migraine headaches. A pregnant woman may be disturbed by other pains of different localization and genesis (intestinal spasms, toothache, stomach pain, etc.).

If the pains appear regularly and systematically - this is the reason for applying to a women's consultation. To ease her condition with intense pain, the pregnant woman often resorts to those medicines that were successfully used by her in similar situations before the gestation period. It is unacceptable.

All drugs, the possibility of their use and the risks for fetal development, as well as dosages should be discussed with a doctor who is monitoring the course of pregnancy. Self-medication in the period of bearing a child is unacceptable and reckless. A pregnant woman should not concentrate only on her problems and the ways to solve them, but also constantly remember the negative consequences for the unborn child of uncontrolled use of medications. Those drugs that have been successfully used and were effective before pregnancy can have an extremely negative impact on the fetus and lead to tragic consequences.

Tempalgin is a combined medical preparation with a pronounced analgesic, good antipyretic, moderate anti-inflammatory and sedative effects. The combination of active substances (analgin and tempidol) is able to stop pain of any origin within 20 minutes - 1 hour from the moment of tablet use. The analgesic effect lasts about 3-5 hours. Due to anxiolytic tempidol, the effect of metamizole sodium (analgin) increases and a sedative effect on the body appears. Dullness of fear is dulled, increased nervousness and irritability weakens, anxiety decreases. By the time sedation can last quite a long time (6-7 hours).

Indications of the tempalgina during pregnancy

The purpose of the medication is indicated in the following cases:

  • severe or moderate pain (hemicrania, cephalgia, algodismenorea, odontalgia, etc.), accompanied by increased neuropsychic excitability,
  • pain visceral genesis and spastic nature (colic renal, intestinal, hepatic) of moderate or weak intensity. Tempalgin is used in combination with spasmolytic drugs,
  • pain accompanying the post-operation period,
  • pain that occurs after traumatic diagnostic tests,

  • active substances:
  • metamizole sodium - 500 mg,
  • triacetonamino-4-toluenesulfonate 20 mg,

Auxiliary substances:

  • wheat starch, magnesium stearate, talc, microcrystalline cellulose.

Names of medicinal products having the composition of active substances identical with tempalgin: tempanginol, tempimed, tempanal.

Pharmacodynamics

Thanks to the combination of analgin and tempidol, the drug "tempalgin" has a prolonged analgesic and antipyretic effect. Metamizole sodium is capable of inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis, inhibiting cyclooxygenase of the first and second types, preventing the destruction of cell membranes, slowing down the temperature increase. Tempidol reduces feelings of anxiety, mental agitation and fear. Reduces motor excitability, prolongs and intensifies the analgesic effect of Metamizolum natrium. The onset of an anesthetic effect is observed after 20 minutes - 1 hour after taking Tempalgina, the duration of the effect is 3-5 hours.

Pharmacokinetics

Active and complete absorption of Metamizolum natrium occurs in the gastrointestinal tract, where the substance binds to plasma proteins (80%). The maximum concentration of the substance in the blood is observed after 30 minutes - 120 minutes (2 hours) after the use of Tempalgina tablets. It is actively metabolized by the liver by oxidation. The products of metabolism are excreted from the body by the intestine after 10 hours. At violations of the filtering function of the kidneys, the clearance may be prolonged.

Absorption of tempodon occurs in the upper parts of the intestine. Metabolized by the liver and most of it is excreted from the body mainly with urine in the form of metabolites and slightly unchanged.

Tablets are consumed inside after eating, without chewing and drinking with sufficient water.

Adults and children after 14 years of age, Tempalgin is prescribed 1 tablet. X 3 times a day. If necessary, a single dose can be 2 tab. The daily maximum dosage is 6 tablets.

The standard course of therapy is 5-7 days. With prolonged use of tempalgine, it is necessary to monitor the parameters of peripheral blood. Dosage and duration of therapy with the drug is prescribed by a doctor.

Tempalgin is able to influence the speed of mental and motor reactions. Therefore, it is necessary to refrain from driving.

Use of the tempalgina during pregnancy during pregnancy

From the use of tempalgina during gestation, it is better to give up especially in the first trimester and for 1.5 months (6 weeks) before childbirth, as it overcomes the placental barrier. It is possible to use in the second trimester in case of emergency, when the benefit of therapy with this drug for the mother exceeds the risk of complications for the unborn child. The decision on the appointment of Tempalgina is made by the attending physician. It is more expedient to refuse from taking this medication during the gestation period, minimizing the risks to the fetus. There are many other medications with a similar effect on the body and less dangerous for the unborn child.

To remove pain of different origins, you can use alternative methods. Only these funds should be acceptable in the period of bearing the baby.

Tempalgin in early pregnancy

The composition of tablets includes analgin, known for its aggressive influence on erythropoiesis and the production of granulocytes. During long-term use it is able to cause agnunolocytosis and inhibition of the protective function of the immune system, which leads to the danger of the development of infectious diseases.

The use of analgin on early gestation may adversely affect the further development of the fetus and the progression of pregnancy. In the first trimester, all the organs and systems of the unborn child are actively formed, and the negative impact of analgin can lead to a violation of the correctness of the processes of morphogenesis or provoke miscarriage. Tempidone has sedating properties and prolongs the analgesic and antipyretic effects of analgin. There is no data on the effect of TEMPIDON on fetus. Proceeding from the above, it is strictly forbidden to apply tempalgin in the first trimester of the gestation period.

Tempalgin during pregnancy in the 2nd trimester

In the second trimester of pregnancy, the use of tempalgine tablets is less dangerous. But their appointment should be dictated by an extreme degree of necessity. Applying a decision on taking Tempalgina or replacing it with another medicine or an alternative remedy should be the attending physician obstetrician gynecologist. A reasonable maximum allowable is a single dose of Tempalgine Tablets.

Tempalgin during pregnancy in the 3rd trimester

During this period, the woman's organism is actively preparing for childbirth. The production of prostaglandins increases, reaching a maximum level during labor. These substances, reaching a certain concentration, cause the onset of labor. Therefore, taking drugs containing analgin, in the last weeks before childbirth is undesirable. Causing oppression of the production of prostaglandins, taking analgin can lead to disruption in the intensity of labor activity, the cessation of contractions or provoke a pregnancy, which is dangerous for the mother and the unborn child.

Self-medication and uncontrolled use of medications during gestation is dangerous, therefore the doctor decides whether to apply or cancel all medications.

Contraindications

  • hypersensitivity to the components of the drug;
  • oppression of hematopoiesis (can be expressed by leukopenia, agranulocytosis, granulocytopenia, aplastic anemia);
  • disruption in the excretory system;
  • heart failure;
  • gestation (I trimester and 1.5 months before childbirth);
  • the period of breastfeeding;
