Most weight loss products, including Belight for weight loss, are not considered medicinal products, but are biologically active additives (BAA), meaning that there is no control over their production and no clinical studies are conducted. BAAs do not have state certificates.
That is, the indications for use specified in the instructions for this product (in addition to weight loss due to lipid metabolism disorders, they include edema and impaired renal excretion of urine, gastrointestinal and liver dysfunction, constipation, as well as excessive nervous excitability and sleep disorders) cannot be considered medically justified.
Belight for weight loss is produced by the Chinese company 999 Cogem BioEngineering; release form: capsules of 0.3 g (in blister packaging). This product is sold not through the pharmacy network, but via the Internet.
Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics
The manufacturer does not provide information regarding the mechanism of action of the components included in the Belight capsules for weight loss (pharmacodynamics are not indicated in most dietary supplements), there is no information about how these substances are transformed in the body and how metabolites are excreted (pharmacokinetics is not studied).
For this reason, clinically unproven claims about the high effectiveness of the Bilait weight loss product - to reduce appetite, increase the rate of metabolic processes, reduce fat deposits and stop its accumulation, as well as to remove toxins and excess fluid from the body - can be perceived as advertising that misleads the buyer.
Since there are no reviews from doctors, and everyone knows how positive reviews from those who have lost weight about Belight for weight loss end up on websites on this topic, we will provide the composition of this product, supplementing it with useful information about its components used in the traditional Chinese pharmacopoeia.
The original, that is, not counterfeit, capsules of Bilait for weight loss, according to the manufacturer of the dietary supplement, contain: lotus leaves, root of Dioscorea oppositifolia, dried sclerotium of polyporaceous fungi (including Wolfiporia extensa - poria), the inner lining of chicken stomachs and fruits of hawthorn.
Lotus leaves help reduce blood cholesterol levels by inhibiting fat absorption, exhibit hepatoprotective, vasodilatory and calming properties, and increase blood flow to the heart. Lotus leaves also contain L-carotene, which increases overall metabolism.
The rhizome of this dioscorea (Chinese yam, called shang-yao in Chinese herbalism) stimulates the stomach, spleen and kidneys. The glycoside dioscin contained in it belongs to the steroid saponins of the spirostanol group, which exhibit the ability to bind cholesterol, increase diuresis and relieve constipation. However, this active substance can cause dizziness, nausea, vomiting and stomach irritation.
Due to the stimulation of kidney function, dried sclerotium of tinder fungi (fu-ling and zhu-ling) is used in traditional Eastern medicine as a diuretic. And agaricin contained in mushrooms stimulates the synthesis of liver enzymes that break down fats that enter the body with food, and also acts as a laxative and mild sedative.
The lining (membrane) of chicken stomachs (ji nei jin) contained in the capsules of Bilait for weight loss is one of the most commonly used Chinese medicines for stomach disorders, as well as stones in the urinary and gall bladder and kidneys. This component contains amino acids, trace elements, enzymes amylase and pepsin, keratin, ventriculin, bile pigment bilatriene, which help to increase the production of gastric juice and its acidity, improving gastric motility and reducing the duration of bowel movements.
Method of application and dosage of Bilight for weight loss
It is recommended to take Belight capsules for weight loss during the first three days - one capsule (in the morning, one hour before or two hours after a meal, with a glass of water).
After three days, the dose is increased to two capsules (the second dose is taken during the daytime). After 7-8 days, two capsules should be taken twice a day. The duration of use is from one to one and a half months.
The instructions do not specify, but you should know that all products containing dioscorea root are taken exclusively after meals to avoid irritating effects on the mucous membranes of the gastrointestinal tract.
It is recommended to increase your daily water consumption (still!) to 2-2.5 liters.
There is no information regarding such characteristics of the drug Bilait as overdose and interactions with other drugs.
Storage conditions for the Belight slimming product: at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. Shelf life is 24 months.
