The claimed effect of coenzyme Q10
Coenzyme Q10 is believed to be useful because of its antioxidant properties and its role in energy metabolism. A particular stated effect is the anti-cancer effect caused by stimulation of the immune system, reduced insulin requirement in patients with diabetes, delayed development of Parkinson's disease, efficacy in the treatment of heart failure and protection from cardiotoxicity of anthracycline.
