Minoxidil for hair loss in women

Vasodilator antihypertensive agent, stimulates hair growth. Opens potassium channels in smooth muscle cell membranes of vascular walls. Dilates resistive vessels, reduces the load on the myocardium. Increases the activity of plasma renin, retains sodium and water in the body.
Indications Minoxidil
The medicinal solution is prescribed for male-pattern baldness in women and men.
Minoxidil tablets are prescribed for severe forms of arterial hypertension, as part of complex therapy with other antihypertensive drugs.

They are produced in the form of solutions, sprays, and aerosols.
Spectral DNC-L
Stimulates follicles, improves their blood supply and growth. It is used to treat both early and late stages of baldness in women. The lotion contains the following substances:
- Minoxidil 5% is one of the most effective drugs in the fight against androgenic alopecia.
- Arginine is a precursor of nitric oxide with a pronounced vasodilating effect.
- 5-alpha-reductase inhibitors – the drug contains 3 components (olive, flax and saw palmetto extract) that suppress the transformation of testosterone into dihydrotestosterone.
- Procyanides are flavanols derived from apples that help restore the front hairline and crown.
- Adenosine is a nucleoside that is involved in biochemical processes of energy transfer at the cellular level.
- Aminexil SP94 is a product for restoring curls, protects roots and shafts.
- Retinol is a fat-soluble vitamin A. It increases the effectiveness of minoxidil and improves its absorption.
- Vitamins and minerals, plant extracts.
Spectral DNC-L is applied to the scalp and rubbed in until the mustard color of the lotion disappears. The procedures are carried out twice a day, the course of treatment is 3-5 months. In rare cases, side effects are observed: irritation and redness of the skin. Painful symptoms disappear on their own.

Regaine
A medicinal product for local use. Stimulates hair growth, effective in androgenic alopecia. Contains the active ingredient minoxidil.
- Indications for use: male-pattern alopecia. Hair thinning due to taking certain medications, vitamin and mineral deficiencies in the body, improper hair care.
- Directions for use: Apply the solution to clean, dry scalp. No more than 2 ml of the medicine per day can be applied to the affected area. The duration of treatment and dosage are determined by the attending physician, individually for each patient. After applying the solution, wash your hands thoroughly and avoid getting the product in your eyes and on mucous membranes.
- Side effects: erythema, temporary burning sensation, dermatitis, skin peeling, seborrhea, hypertrichosis. In rare cases, decreased blood pressure, abnormal heart rhythm, allergic reactions, contact dermatitis, edema and dizziness are observed.
- Contraindications: intolerance to minoxidil, pediatric practice. The solution is prescribed with special caution to patients with ischemia, arrhythmia, angina, hypotension, as well as to patients over 65 years of age. Use of the product during pregnancy and lactation is prohibited.
- Overdose: Overdose is unlikely with topical application. If the drug is accidentally swallowed, diuretics, intravenous saline and other symptomatic procedures are indicated.
Regaine is available in 60 ml bottles with a special applicator for easy use of the solution.
Cosilon
A medicine that stimulates hair growth. It is used for androgenic alopecia, thinning hair, and severe forms of baldness. The active components stimulate microcirculation processes and the transition of follicles from a resting state to an active growth phase. The medicine is especially effective for thinning hair on the crown and in the middle parting area.
- Cosilon is applied to the scalp, rubbing thoroughly into the bald spots. The dosage is determined by the attending physician, but not more than 2 ml per day. Before using the drug, the hair must be thoroughly washed and dried. The duration of therapy can be more than 1 year.
- Side effects are manifested by local allergic reactions. In isolated cases, arterial hypotension develops, facial and body hair appears. Respiratory system disorders, skin rashes and increased irritability are also possible.
- Contraindications: intolerance to the components of the drug, damage to the integrity of the scalp, inflammatory and allergic lesions of the head. Not used during pregnancy and lactation, in pediatric practice and for patients over 65 years of age.
Cosilon is available as a spray for external use in 60 ml bottles with a spray applicator.
Alopexy
Solution for external use with the active substance minoxidil. Stimulates hair growth in hormonal hair loss in women. Prescribed for the stabilization and treatment of androgenic alopecia.
- The product is applied to the scalp 2 times a day, the daily dose should not exceed 2 ml. The medicine is rubbed into the skin, starting from the bald spot and spreading over the entire surface of the head.
- Side effects include local tissue irritation, peeling, itching and dermatitis. In rare cases, allergic reactions, headaches and dizziness, ear infections, and temporary visual impairment may develop.
- Contraindications: hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, pregnancy and lactation, patients under 18 years of age.
- Overdose occurs when the solution accidentally enters the body. This causes systemic reactions and vasodilating action. A sharp decrease in blood pressure and tachycardia are also observed. Treatment is symptomatic.
The medicine should be applied to clean, dry scalp. The preparation is available in 60 ml bottles.
Pharmacodynamics
