The recipe for ginger tea includes the main component and many additional ones used to vary the flavor range. The classic method of preparation is to brew ginger for 5-7 minutes. This process occurs by adding the prepared root to boiling water, but do not cook it.

To prepare ginger, you need to cut off the desired length of the root (approximately 1 cm for a mug, depending on each person's preferences), then peel it, chop it finely, or better yet, grate it. This mass should be brewed.

Tea with honey, cardamom, chili, lemon and other spices will give the drink a special taste. However, it is worth remembering the amount of such additives, since excessive use of spices will contribute to a cloying taste, which will not bring pleasure.

Here, for example, is tea with honey and lemon. To prepare it, you need 30 g of ginger, the same amount of honey and lemon, depending on your preferences. Before preparing, you need to peel the ginger, grate it and add it to boiling water for 10 minutes.

After the time has passed, you can use honey and lemon slices. This drink will warm you up and give you energy in the cold season. In addition, you can make a preparation, for which half a kilogram of chopped ginger must be combined with the same amount of honey. Such a mixture should be stored in the refrigerator and use 15 g for each cup of tea.

Ginger Brewing Recipes

Recipes for brewing ginger have the same basis, but may differ in minor nuances. Here is one brewing option that is most often used.

The recipe is designed for half a liter, but you can change the volume depending on your preferences while observing the proportions of ginger. For this volume, you will need ginger 1.5 cm long.

After that, you need to peel it with a knife, lightly running it along the surface of the ginger. If it is fresh, the peel will come off easily without any effort. To chop it, you will need a grater, with which the ginger will acquire the necessary shape.

After grinding, you get about 20 g of ginger, which is just right for half a liter of water. So, you need to add a piece of lemon or its juice to the ginger, as well as 15 g of honey. You need to pour half a glass of cold water into the prepared mug with ginger, then stir it, and then add hot water to half a liter. In 5 minutes, the drink is ready.

People come up with recipes for brewing ginger after they have already tried to make ginger in a new way. Of course, everyone has their own individual taste, so you shouldn't strictly follow the volumes. After trying to brew ginger a couple of times, the next time you can adjust the recipe to your taste and change the ratio of ingredients.

Sea Buckthorn Tea with Ginger Recipe

Sea buckthorn has no fewer healing properties than ginger, so their combination in tea can strengthen the body's immune defense and prevent frequent acute respiratory viral infections or flu.

Sea buckthorn can be prepared in the fall by freezing it, and ginger can be stored without freezing. In this regard, this combination will be ideal for the body in winter.

The recipe for sea buckthorn tea with ginger is designed for a volume of slightly more than half a liter, but you can proportionally reduce all the ingredients and, accordingly, the water to get the desired volume of tea.

For this tea you need ginger about 2 cm long, cinnamon (no more than 2 sticks), half a glass of sea buckthorn, approximately 30 g of honey (depending on each person’s preferences), star anise (2) and 0.5-0.6 liters of boiling water.

The recipe for sea buckthorn tea with ginger describes the preparation as follows. First, you need to peel the ginger and grate it. At the same time, the sea buckthorn, which should be taken out of the freezer a few hours before use, needs to be crushed. This is necessary so that it releases juice and forms a gruel together with the pulp.

For tea, it is advisable to choose tall glasses to slow down the cooling process and put sea buckthorn mass and ginger on the bottom. In addition, cinnamon should be added to each glass, then pour boiling water.

The tea should be steeped for about 5 minutes, then add honey if desired, and the tea is ready. This drink is recommended to be drunk daily to increase resistance to viruses.

The recipe for ginger teas requires preparation for a larger volume than a mug. To do this, simply take the appropriate length of ginger and brew it. You can warm it up before each use, but do not boil it.
