After the fall of the crusts or wound coverings after dermabrasion or after the treatment of burns, the epithelialized surface has a pinkish-red color due to dilated vessels and continuing post-inflammatory restorative period in the tissues. The protective properties of the epidermis during this period are reduced, which requires appropriate curative and preventive measures. One of the main harmful factors that can lead to a number of complications and side effects is solar radiation. At what not only direct sun rays, but reflected and scattered sun rays are at this moment dangerous for post traumatic surfaces. It is known that the spectrum of solar radiation consists of ultraviolet rays A, B, C (200-400 nm), visible light (400-760 nm) and infrared light (more than 800 nm). UV-A rays, being the most rigid, penetrate deeper into the dermis, the wavelength is 320-400 nm. UV-B rays, the mid-wave part of the ultraviolet spectrum, with a wavelength of 290-320 nm. The UV-C rays have a wavelength of 200-290 nm. Have the highest energy and are the most dangerous part of the ultraviolet spectrum. It is known that the shorter the wavelength, the stronger the inflammatory effect of UV rays. However, due to the low penetrating power, almost all UV-C rays are retained by the ozone layer of the earth. UV - B act at the level of the epidermis, damaging the cells of Langerhans, thus weakening the immune system of the skin, induce an inflammatory reaction and the formation of free radicals. In addition, they stimulate the release of iron and copper ions from the cellular depots, which also catalyze the formation of hydroxyl radicals from hydrogen peroxide.

UV-A rays have the lowest energy, but they have the highest penetrating power. They freely penetrate through the clouds, glass, clothes, pass through the epidermis, reach the dermis, where they exert their destructive effect on the genetic apparatus of fibroblasts. They participate in the process of elastosis and play a leading role in the development of photosensitization, photodermatosis, photoimmunosuppression and malignant skin diseases. Under the influence of ultraviolet radiation, photoreceptors and free nerve endings, located in the epidermis, are stimulated, which send impulses to the brain and pituitary gland. The pituitary gland produces a melanostimulating hormone, which activates the production of melanin by melanocytes. Peptides of a similar effect, stimulating the production of melanin, are produced by keratinocytes. The synthesis of melanin is also enhanced by nitric oxide (NO) produced by activated macrophages. Fragments of DNA can also stimulate the synthesis of melanin. In addition, the so-called substance P, a neuropeptide isolated by the free nerve endings of the epidermis in response to UV and other stress effects, is also found, which also stimulates the production of melanin. Melanocyte transmits grains with increased melanin content in granules (melanosomes) by pinocytosis to keratinocytes through its numerous processes. Thus, there is a discoloration of the skin, that is, tanning or hyperpigmentation. To prevent the appearance of post-traumatic hyperpigmentation, to protect the genetic apparatus of cells from the damaging effect of ultraviolet radiation after dermabrasion, peelings, the removal of benign skin formations, after plastic surgeries, it is necessary to apply photo-protective creams, even in the winter season. Therefore, doctors dermatocosmetologists. Dermatologists and surgeons should recommend to their patients mandatory at least 2 months after surgery or trauma to protect the skin) or scars with photoprotective creams. At the same time, it is necessary to use the products purchased only in pharmacies, having a wide spectrum of UV (UVB + UVA) protection and, of course, only serious pharmaceutical companies such as Bioderma, Estederm, La Roche-Posay. Vishi.

As an example of modern and effective cosmeceutical means of sun protection, products of the dermatological pharmaceutical laboratory La Roche-Posay (France), which has released a series of photoprotective products of the brand ANTHELIOS, to the world market. The preparations contain the patented formula of new effective filters Mexoryl® SX + Mexoryl® XL, which provides absorption of UVB and UVA-rays and gives 100% protection. The products have 3 degrees of protection (SPF) - 50+, 40, 20. They do not contain fragrances, dyes, they are made on the basis of the thermal water of La Roche-Posay, they are easily applied to the skin, they do not create a feeling of "clogged" skin.

The spectrum of preparations consists of:

  • ANTHELIOS XL (SPF 50+) - melting facial cream, 100 ml;

This product includes the patented Mexoryl® SX + Mexoryl® XL filter system (chemical filters) and titanium dioxide and aluminum hydroxide-mineral filters, which provide a wide spectrum of absorption of both UVA and UVB rays. The melting effect is achieved due to the content of the patented polymer, which allows the agent to be absorbed instantaneously, and microspheres containing nylon powder complete the effect. Contains antioxidants in soybean oil extract and tocopherol.

Anthelios XL 50+ is shown to people with the 1st skin phototype, prone to sunburn, people with any skin phototype under extreme conditions of insolation. The cream combines maximum protection against UV rays and a delicate texture. Ideal for skin prone to dryness.

ANTHELIOS XL FLUIDE EXTREME (SPF 50 +) - a fluid for the face; 50 ml.

ANTHELIOS XL FLUIDE EXTREME SPF 50+ (PPD 28), 50 ml.

They are shown to people with intolerant to the sun skin and in the first month after a deep peeling and operative dermabrasion. Air texture ANTHELIOS XL FLUIDE EXTREME SPF 50+ allows you to use it for people with any cosmetic skin type. Does not cause a comedogenic effect.

ANTHELIOS XL SPF 50+, PPD 28, 125 ml. - sunscreen or spray.

The agents are easily applied and distributed over the skin, so they are especially indicated in conditions of extreme insolation, to protect against the insolation of large areas of the skin of the body,

ANTHELIOS XL Dermo-pediatrics (SPF 50+, PPD 28), - a cream for children. 100 ml.

Specially developed sunscreen, which provides maximum protection of children's skin from sunlight and more resistant to the action of sand, water and sweat.

In case of appearance of hyperpigmentation at the site of scars after dermabrasion or after aesthetic operations, it is recommended to administer agents containing tyrosinase inhibitors, melanin neutralizers (colic, ascorbic, retinoic acids, arbutin, hydroquinone, etc.). It can be creams, special compounds, masks. One example of depigmenting treatment is Amelan no Kruliga (Venezuela). The main components of this treatment course are the mask (Amelan R) and Amelan M cream. The preparations contain the above components, which are active agents. The mask is applied for several hours (5-12) to the cleansed skin, then washed off, after which the regular use of the cream begins.

On dark skin or with dark and pronounced spots, you can apply Amelan M during the first week 3 times a day, leaving it for at least 4 hours. The second week the cream is applied twice a day and the third one once a day. In this case, it is necessary to apply sunscreen before going out.
