Nutrition and diet in bradycardia

Nutrition in bradycardia should be gentle for the heart muscle. This means that it is necessary to exclude from the diet all products containing a large amount of phytoncides, cardiac glycosides. It is necessary to minimize the consumption of soy, spices, spices, because they have the most powerful effect on the heart muscle. It is necessary to exclude from the diet and confectionery additives and spices (vanilla, cinnamon, coriander, vanilla sugar, sesame, cumin). Confectionery, sweets, flour products, should also be minimized. It is completely recommended to exclude smoked and pickled products, pickles. Meat should be chosen lean varieties - chicken, beef, veal. To porridge can be added in unlimited quantities of fresh fruits and vegetables. With caution should be used cucumbers, watermelons, melons and pineapples for people who are prone to edema. - Potassium-rich foods: Potassium plays an important role in controlling heart rate. Including potassium-rich foods such as bananas, nuts, green leafy vegetables, potatoes and fruits in your diet can be beneficial.
- Moderate salt intake: In bradycardia, it is important to monitor salt intake as excessive intake can contribute to fluid retention in the body and increase blood pressure, which may not be desirable for the heart.
- Magnesium-rich foods: Magnesium is important for maintaining a normal heart rhythm. Including magnesium-rich foods such as nuts, seeds, leafy greens, whole grains and fish in your diet can be beneficial.
- Moderate alcohol consumption: Alcohol consumption can affect the heart rate, so if you have bradycardia, you should limit or avoid alcohol consumption.

Diet for bradycardia
In case of bradycardia, a person needs to follow a certain diet. The diet should be sparing in relation to the heart muscle, circulatory system. Regarding nutrition, we can distinguish such recommendations for patients with bradycardia:
- Eat only yesterday's bread or slightly dried bread. You can replace bread with breadcrumbs, dried bread. Salt in bread should be minimal. It is better to use bread made of rye flour or with bran.
- Meat and poultry can be used, but you should choose lean varieties. Fried dishes are excluded. Cooking should be either steamed or boiled. You can also bake meat.
- Soups are recommended to be consumed daily. It is better to use dairy, vegetarian soups, with the addition of various cereals.
- Fish should be consumed in boiled or baked form, and only lean varieties.
- Eggs should be consumed exclusively in boiled form, or in the form of an omelet. It is better to eat no more than 3-4 eggs per week.
- It is recommended to include in the diet various sea foods: brown or green algae, seafood, shrimp, squid, mussels, seaweed.
- It is recommended to use in food various dried fruits (bananas, apricots, prunes, raisins, dried kiwi, pineapples). It is also necessary to prepare uzvaras from dried fruits. They can also be consumed in unlimited quantities.

Green tea for bradycardia
In bradycardia, green tea is recommended because it tones blood vessels, maintains optimal functional state of the heart muscle, removes toxins, metabolites, free radicals, purifying the blood. The tea contains tannins, which increase contractility, heart activity, as well as provide optimal nutrition to the heart muscle. With regular use of green tea dramatically reduces the risk of thrombosis, arteritis. Blood acquires optimal viscosity and density. This allows the heart with the optimal mode of pumping blood through the bloodstream, removes unnecessary load. Thanks to tea increases heart rate, normalizes blood pressure. Green tea can be consumed in unlimited quantities. It is recommended in bradycardia to drink green tea for 28 days, without taking any other drinks. This will allow you to maximally cleanse the cardiovascular system, normalize metabolic processes, restore the heart. In tea you can add honey, sugar, jam, other additives to taste.
Coffee for bradycardia
It is impossible to answer unequivocally the question whether coffee can be consumed in bradycardia, because everything depends on the individual circumstances of the disease. It is necessary to take into account a number of additional factors, comorbidities, and treatment. Coffee in bradycardia can increase heart rate. But often along with an increase in heart rate, there is also an increase in blood pressure. Therefore, if a person has no problems with blood pressure (no sudden changes, no tendency to hypertension), coffee can be used.
Coffee and coffee drinks are indicated if a person has a decrease in blood pressure (hypotension) on the background of bradycardia. As a relative contraindication to the use of coffee can be a cardiac arrhythmia, extrasystole. With such a diagnosis, it is necessary to consult with the attending physician. In any case, coffee and coffee drinks should not be abused. With bradycardia, it is recommended to drink coffee no more than 3-4 times a week.
Honey for bradycardia

In bradycardia honey is able to give strength, improve health, increase heart rate, normalize heart rate, blood pressure.
Folk medicine of various countries abounds with recipes based on the use of honey. Honey was widely used in antiquity, in the Middle Ages. It is no less popular today. Let's consider the main recipes that allow you to use honey for bradycardia.
Recipe #1. Honey with orange
It is recommended to pass through a meat grinder 1 large orange, along with the pips, zest. Then the resulting mass is mixed with honey (add about 2-3 tablespoons of honey per 1 orange). All this is thoroughly mixed, set aside in the refrigerator. It is recommended to take a tablespoon 2-3 times a day. Mix before use.
Recipe #2. Vegetable mixture with honey
As a basis is taken bookwort and sage, in a ratio of 1:1. Pour a glass of boiling water, insist for an hour. Then add 1-2 tablespoons of honey, mix thoroughly. Before use, 2 tablespoons of the remedy is dissolved in 50 ml of warm water, drink 2-3 times a day.
Recipe #3: Honey and onion mixture.
Onions are passed through a meat grinder. In the resulting mass add honey (in a ratio of 1:1), stir. Use a tablespoon 2-3 times a day for 7-10 days.
Recipe #4. Walnuts and honey

Recipe #5. Birch fruit with honey
Birch fruits (earrings) are crushed, pour a glass of vodka (at the rate of a glass of birch fruits a glass of vodka). Infused for 5-10 days. Used internally for 50 ml, dissolving a tablespoon of honey in this volume. Take once a day for 28 days.
Recipe #6: Ginger powder with honey
Despite the fact that it is not recommended to eat ginger in bradycardia, it can be used in combination with honey. Firstly, in combination with honey, the negative effect that ginger could have, is neutralized. Secondly, in a strictly dosed scheme, it becomes an effective medicine.
A teaspoon of ginger is mixed with two tablespoons of honey. Infuse for 1-2 hours, use a teaspoon 2-3 times a day for 10-14 days.
Recipe #7. Bran with honey
A cup of bran is mixed with half a cup of honey. Infuse for 1-3 hours, then take a teaspoon three times a day for 28 days.
Red wine for bradycardia
In bradycardia, red wine can and even should be consumed in moderate amounts. It is recommended to drink 100-150 grams of good red wine daily as an aperitif. You can drink it at one time, you can divide it into several receptions. Wine (red) has a positive effect on the hematopoietic function, it normalizes the tone of blood vessels, purifies the blood, promotes better oxygen transport and accelerated excretion of carbon dioxide. Wine stimulates digestion, heart muscle activity, normalizes metabolic processes in the body. Wine can be consumed pure, in the form of mulled wine (hot wine with spices), as well as in the form of medicinal infusions. Let's consider the main recipes based on red wine, indicated for bradycardia.
Recipe #1.
In a glass of hot red wine (200-250 ml) add a tablespoon of wheat germ oil and honey. Infuse for an hour. Add a teaspoon of crushed wheat germ. All this is mixed, drink a tablespoon 2-4 times a day.
Recipe #2.
To prepare an infusion of 200-250 ml of red wine, pour 250 ml of a mixture of whipped butter and hot milk (about 50 grams of butter and 150-200 ml of milk). Add lemongrass extract (a teaspoon) and 5 drops of essential oil of medicinal anise. All this is brought to a boil, set aside, insist for at least 3-4 hours. After the remedy has cooled, take a tablespoon 3-4 times a day. Closed in a hermetically sealed container. It can be stored for up to 5 months.
Recipe #3.
Take equal parts of dark chocolate, cocoa butter, milk and 2 eggs. Heat with constant stirring over low heat, bring to a boil. Cook over low heat for 5-10 minutes, stirring gently so that the milk does not run off. Remove from the fire, cover with a lid, add 250 ml of red wine, allow to infuse for 1-2 hours. After the remedy is insisted, you can take: a tablespoon 2-3 times a day. You can add to tea, coffee. It can be stored for up to 5 months.
Recipe #4.
As a base take red wine (300-400 ml). Add about a tablespoon of the following ingredients: chamomile herb, immortelle, St. John's wort, strawberries (kneaded into a puree), honey. Boiled over low heat for 3-5 minutes. Stir, then set aside and give the opportunity to insist. Take orally 50 ml 2-3 times a day, at least 28 days.
Recipe #5.
For preparation take about 200 grams of crushed to a puree sea buckthorn berries (or pass through a meat grinder), 4-5 tablespoons of lemon juice, mixed, insist at least 2-3 hours. Pour 500 ml of red wine, insist another day. Take orally 50 ml per day.
Prescription #6.
Take in equal parts immortelle herb and birch buds (about 30 grams of each component). Pour 500 ml of red wine. Mix, heat on low heat until warm, add a tablespoon of honey, stir, insist at least 1.5-2 hours. Drink 100 ml per day for 28 days.
Recipe #7.
As a basis take about 250-300 ml of rosehip syrup and the same amount of red wine. Then add about a tablespoon of the following components: honey, butter. Stir, insist for at least an hour. Drink 20-30 ml per day. Preliminary mixture should be shaken. The course of treatment - at least 28 days.
Recipe #8.
In red wine of 500 ml add a tablespoon of rosehip fruit, sea buckthorn, 2 drops of essential oil of sage and juniper. Infused for 5-10 hours. Take orally 2-3 tablespoons before bedtime.
Peppermint for bradycardia
Mint in bradycardia is not recommended to take, because it refers to sedatives, calms the body, slows down the pulse and lowers blood pressure. In exceptional cases, peppermint can be prescribed if the patient has increased vascular tone, and there is a tendency to hypertension - high blood pressure. In other cases, it can only aggravate the condition, slowing the pulse and reducing the heart rate to a critical level. You can take separate mixtures and collections that include peppermint as one of the constituent components. In this case, as a rule, collections and complex means are composed in such a way that the action of mint is compensated, and it does not reduce heart rate, but has a complex normalizing effect on the body. Before using any remedy that includes mint, it is necessary to consult with your doctor.
