Excess weight is the scourge of modern society, especially big cities with their crazy rhythm. Unbalanced diet, sedentary work, daily stress - and an extra kilo is already on the waist. This state of affairs not only begins to cause psychological discomfort to the owner or hostess. Excess weight is a direct road to a hospital bed. After all, everyone knows how much obesity adversely affects the entire human body: increased stress on the cardiovascular and musculoskeletal systems, the inability to conceive and bear, give birth to a child for a woman of childbearing age, the risk of diabetes increases, other failures in metabolic processes and much, much more.
In such a situation, maintaining a normal weight is a rather serious issue that many try to solve on their own. But in order for dietary restrictions to be beneficial and not have a negative impact on health, aggravating the situation and bringing new complications, it is necessary to select such a method especially carefully. It is desirable that this process begins after an examination of the body and with the consent of a specialist.
Dietitians and doctors highly value diets for weight loss with ginger, which not only allows you to lose those hated kilograms, but also fills the human body with many useful nutrients.
Quite often, respondents ask a very reasonable question about how to properly take the medicinal root in order to achieve the expected result.
The homeland of this plant is tropical Africa. Initially, its taste and medicinal qualities were known and in demand by ancient people. Modern science and cooking have only expanded the areas of its application. Today, ginger-based diets are very popular. The main thing is to have enough knowledge to carry it out. The main advantage of a strict diet is that a person does not have to significantly change their food preferences, limit their diet and starve.
Nutritionists call the process of losing weight based on ginger a diet for the lazy. Those who are constantly concerned about their figure know that this is a minute-by-minute, daily hard work. But eating dishes with this spice makes this procedure not only effective, but also tasty, healthy and easier. Many people who have gone through this stage have appreciated this method of losing weight.
So what is the essence of the method? The plant in question, or more specifically the root, has been provided by nature with quite unique properties that help to activate metabolic processes in the human body, which is a priority in the procedure of getting rid of excess weight. The substances included in its composition have a beneficial effect on hematopoiesis and improve blood flow to organs and systems, allowing the substances necessary for their normal functioning to be delivered in a timely and complete manner. It is this feature of the ginger root that allows it to be used in this particular area of dietetics and cosmetology.
The first thing you need to do to start the weight loss process is to reduce the caloric content of your diet. In this situation, there is no talk of any strict restrictions. It will be enough to reduce the volume of portions consumed and limit the consumption of a number of products that are particularly caloric.
The essence of the diet
And the basis of the diet is the consumption of various drinks prepared on the basis of this spice throughout the day.
Here is one recipe for ginger tea, which can be used both in its “pure” form and as a basis for imagination and the preparation of more complex, sophisticated, but healthy drinks.
To prepare the tea, take a small piece of the root, peel it and grind it. Place 25 g of the resulting "porridge" in a two-liter thermos, which is completely filled with boiling water. Close the thermos hermetically and leave it alone overnight. In the morning, the ginger drink is ready. This elixir should be drunk little by little throughout the day. The recommended daily volume of liquid should be from one and a half to two liters. If desired, you can add a few drops of lemon juice or a little natural honey to it immediately before use.
But the diet under consideration is not limited to this drink alone. There is a list of products that are desirable in the diet of a person losing weight and those that should be limited or completely excluded from your menu.
Sample menu for a weight loss diet with ginger
For example, you can offer several options for the daily menu:
After waking up, drink a glass of warm drink from a thermos. This will help wake up the body and start the digestive organs, preparing them for work.
Breakfast:
- Poached egg
- A slice of bread.
- A small piece of butter.
- Ginger tea.
Lunch: apple.
Dinner:
- Lenten borscht.
- Braised chicken breast in lemon sauce.
- Fresh cabbage salad.
- Berry mousse.
Afternoon snack:
- Tea with ginger root and lemon.
- Biscuit cookies.
Dinner:
- Mashed potatoes.
- Boiled beef in pear sauce.
- Fresh cucumbers and tomatoes.
- Ginger tea with cinnamon.
Before going to bed, drink a glass of a drink based on this spice.
Limiting food intake in itself promotes fruitful weight loss, and ginger root makes this process more effective. That is, instead of three to five kilograms per month, you can lose 8 to 10. This intensity of weight loss is also good because it has a low tendency to return.
It would not be a bad idea to include physical exercise in the diet with ginger.
A couple more recommendations should be given:
- Meals should be fractional, at least six times a day.
- Ginger tea can be taken throughout the day, no more than 150 ml per dose. A larger amount of liquid can cause heartburn, especially if a person has a history of problems with the digestive organs. If there are no such problems, the amount of tea can be increased.
- A glass of the drink can be taken shortly before the main course. This approach prepares the digestive tract for work, so the digestion and utilization process will be more active.
