General information gastritis diets
A gentle, tasty and strict diet for gastritis
A gentle diet for gastritis consists of light dishes. Fresh fruits, spices, black coffee, and lard are contraindicated. Replace hot food with warm food, and avoid ice cream. Drink milk. With low acidity, it is allowed to drink 1 tbsp. lemon juice diluted with water per day. Soft-boiled eggs, boiled meat, fruit soups, pasta, and fresh cottage cheese are allowed.
A diet for gastritis can be tasty. We have compiled a daily diet for you, which includes your favorite tasty dishes from childhood that do not harm the stomach.
The first breakfast can consist of a soft-boiled egg, strained rice porridge and tea with milk and biscuits with jam. The second breakfast is a baked apple or banana. And for lunch - oatmeal soup with meatballs and carrot puree. For dinner we offer boiled fish with milk sauce and tea with milk.
During an exacerbation, barley soup is very useful for you, exclude fatty and spicy foods, eat more beets. Liquid dishes are preferable. The diet of a patient with gastritis does not include aggressive products that stimulate the production of gastric juice. Exceptions are possible only for patients with gastritis with zero acidity. You need to drink more liquid. Look at the options for low-fat dairy products. Kissels and a little cocoa (not chocolate!) are allowed.
Diet 5 for gastritis
Diet for gastritis 5 is a special system of therapeutic nutrition, which excludes products with essential oils and cooking fats: margarine, spreads, lard, products with cholesterol, hot dogs, shawarma, hamburgers and similar foods, preservatives, dyes, chewing candies and chewing gum, lollipops, Pepsi Cola, Coca Cola. All sweets and confectionery are replaced with fruits, which have a positive effect on the transport of food through the gastrointestinal tract. All dishes of the 5th table are steamed or boiled in water, very rarely there are recipes for baked dishes without a crust. You need to eat slowly, thoroughly chewing and savoring each piece at least 4 times a day, avoiding snacks and dry food, eating sandwiches on the street, on the go, at the computer.
In addition to treating gastritis, diet 5 is also used for recovery from hepatitis, gallstone disease, cirrhosis and colitis.
Foods with a high content of oxalic acid and purines should be completely excluded from the diet.
White and grey wheat bread and cookies without filling such as “Maria”, “Zoologicheskoe”, and biscuit are allowed.
Drink milk with tea, eat zero-fat cottage cheese, mild cheeses, vegetable soups, soups with pasta, with fruits.
In case of increased secretion, chop all products as much as possible. The temperature of the dishes should not be hotter than 40 degrees. The diet for gastritis allows yesterday's bread without crust, but excludes baked goods. Of the meats, give preference to chicken. Diet 1 for gastritis
The diet for gastritis has basic principles that are useful to know even for a healthy person. Fried food is difficult to digest, it is excluded. Food must be at medium temperature. This diet allows meat and vegetables in pieces. Some dishes can be baked.
You can eat dry biscuits and unsweetened buns.
Instead of sweet bread, use croutons, throw them directly into the soup. Milk soups from boiled cereals (semolina, buckwheat, rice), milk soups, mashed in a blender are allowed.
Rabbit and turkey are the healthiest meats for you. Steamed cutlets, mashed potatoes, and quenelles are allowed. Remove the skin. Cook boiled tongue, eat doctor's and diet sausage, sturgeon caviar, and unsalted ham. Eat more low-fat milk, sour cream, and non-acidic cottage cheese.
Cook lean fish in a steamer in one piece.
Puff pastry, canned food and marinades are very harmful. Avoid mushrooms, spinach and cucumbers.
Start your morning with a soft-boiled egg. At work, you can have a baked apple as a snack before lunch. It is better for you to eat vegetable or cereal soups. Zucchini and non-acidic tomatoes are healthy.
The best fruits for gastritis sufferers are bananas and non-acidic apples. Make compotes and kissels.

Diet 1a for gastritis
The diet for gastritis 1a excludes foods and dishes that irritate the mucous membrane.
This diet allows mucous semolina and rice soups, soft-boiled eggs, cream, jelly, milk, and butter in prepared dishes.
In the morning the patient is given 2 soft-boiled eggs. For lunch - oatmeal soup and fruit jelly. In the evening, for example, milk rice porridge.
Diet 2 for gastritis
Diet for gastritis 2 is prescribed during the recovery period of a chronic process.
During treatment, boiled, stewed and mashed dishes are recommended. You cannot eat anything cold, fatty or spicy. Meat is eaten without skin, boiled and baked (chicken, rabbit, veal). Boiled and stewed fish in pieces is allowed.
Stew vegetables, make vegetable puree, low-fat jellied meat, eat unsalted lean ham.
Prepare compotes and jellies, bake apples with honey and jam.
Sweets: snowballs, toffee, pastila, jam, preserves. Drink tea with lemon, coffee with milk, rosehip infusion.
Diet menu for gastritis
The diet menu for gastritis excludes coarse food and alcohol. Eat small portions, 4 times a day, i.e. every 3 hours. A diet for gastritis with low acidity does not allow flour products, barley groats, legumes, pea soup, millet soup and lamb, salted fish, pickled vegetables, radishes, mushrooms, raspberries, gooseberries, fatty sauces and kvass.
For breakfast, semolina and a glass of tea, carrot puree, boiled fish, cauliflower are suitable. For lunch, a glass of apple or plum, apricot or cherry compote or jelly and the first course: vegetable, vermicelli soup. For the second course - steamed chicken cutlets or boiled fish, mashed potatoes, boiled beets, buckwheat porridge. For dessert - fruit mousse, jelly. Afternoon snack - tea, compote, jelly. Dinner - cabbage rolls, side dish, tea, milk or tea with milk. When preparing food, refuse seasonings and spices. Add parsley and celery. Meals should be fractional.

Diet for gastritis involves some restrictions. With low acidity, the stomach does not produce enough hydrochloric acid.

Diet for pancreatitis and gastritis

Diet for gastritis and cholecystitis
The diet for gastritis and cholecystitis has the following basic principles:
- Minimal intervals between meals.
- Warm food, not cold or hot.
- During the first days of an exacerbation, fast and drink more water.
- Eat more boiled vegetables, pumpkin, zucchini, dairy dishes, and low-fat fish dishes.
- Kissels and juices mixed half with water are useful.
- Avoid fatty meats, smoked foods, citrus fruits and alcohol. Eliminate fresh bread, mushrooms and mushroom broths, rich meat broths.
- Eat yesterday's bread.
Diet for heartburn and gastritis
Gastric ulcer, reflux esophagitis and cholecystitis are often accompanied by heartburn. The therapeutic diet is composed taking into account the permitted methods of cooking. Diet for erosive gastritis
What is prohibited for erosive gastritis: canned food, fatty meat, vinegar, alcohol, sour berries, fried foods.
Second courses are prepared from dietary meat: rabbit, beef. It is better to steam everything, especially in the first days, then boil, but do not fry.
In the morning, eat a steamed omelet and thin porridge. For lunch, have vegetable soup, a steamed cutlet, jelly, and weak tea. For dinner, have mashed potatoes with boiled chicken.
To avoid erosive gastritis, do not eat spicy foods and avoid stress.

Diet for acute gastritis
Acute gastritis can be treated at home, but it is very important to follow a therapeutic diet. You cannot eat anything for the first 2 days, only sweetened tea and rosehip infusion. Dishes for the 3rd day should be steamed. Soups, such as rice soup, are very useful. Milk, soft-boiled eggs, semolina and mashed buckwheat are allowed. Chicken in the form of steamed cutlets and meatballs is allowed.
During the acute period, the following are prohibited: raw vegetables and fruits, bread, coffee, cocoa, and kvass.
Diet for chronic gastritis
The diet for gastritis excludes foods with a high content of coarse fiber and all fatty foods. The dishes should not be hot, only a pleasant warm temperature. Do not overeat. Give up fatty foods, confectionery and strong coffee, exclude mushrooms. For lunch, eat cream soup, steamed cutlets and meatballs from meat and fish, vegetable stew, steamed omelettes, jelly and rosehip broth. Start the morning with oatmeal in water or half and half with milk and low-fat cottage cheese.
You are prohibited from smoked foods, offal, eat no more than 1 soft-boiled egg per day. Drink vegetable and fruit juices, diluted with water.
Diet for exacerbation of gastritis

Yesterday's white bread and strained soups are useful. The broth should be low-fat and without spices. Allowed cereals: rice, buckwheat and semolina, but millet should be avoided. Stewed vegetables and mashed potatoes are useful. The diet for gastritis allows you to eat desserts and fermented milk products. Veal and lean fish are recommended.

Diet for reflux gastritis
Reflux gastritis is a condition when bile enters the stomach. Signs of reflux gastritis: sudden weight loss, heaviness in the stomach, unpleasant taste in the mouth, constipation. The disease is diagnosed by a general blood test, ultrasound of the liver and pancreas, fibrogastroscopy.
The diet for gastritis with a reflux component includes easily digestible foods. Frequent meals in small portions 5 times a day are recommended. Honey and cold dishes, ice cream, and desserts are excluded. Exclude fried fish, smoked meats, sausages, canned goods and chocolate, black coffee, alcohol, and quit smoking. Do not carry heavy objects and avoid stress.

Diet for superficial gastritis
Today's life is crazy, we are always in a hurry and eat dry food. Simple superficial gastritis manifests itself as pain after eating and heartburn, coated tongue. Surely before the attack you ate something spicy or experienced stress.
Treatment of mild forms is often limited to diet alone. If you are diagnosed with Helicobacter pylori, undergo antibiotic treatment.
Give preference to liquid food. Have dinner 3 hours before bedtime. Avoid thick broths and spicy pickled foods. Eat boiled meat, only lean fish - cod, pike perch and pike. Fruits - in the form of juices and compotes. Love semolina porridge - the same as in childhood. Diet for gastritis is the main remedy.
Diet for ulcerative gastritis

Diet for focal gastritis
Focal gastritis is characterized by necrosis of the stomach lining. The patient's body experiences a deficiency of nutrients, pallor, anemia, and vision deterioration due to a lack of vitamin A. Spicy, too hot, and cold foods are excluded from the menu; milk porridge, cottage cheese, and yesterday's bread are allowed. Atrophic gastritis is dangerous because it changes the structure of the gastric mucosa, which can lead to cancer. Most often, focal gastritis is caused by age-related changes. The Helicobacter pylori bacterium, when triggered by factors, can cause inflammation followed by atrophy of the stomach tissue. Focal gastritis is also often combined with pancreatitis, especially in people with alcoholism. The patient feels heaviness in the stomach and dull pain, bitterness and an unpleasant metallic taste, weakness, and sweating.
Food for focal gastritis is steamed. Spicy, fried, canned, carbonated drinks and sweets, chocolate, alcohol are excluded.

Diet for Helicobacter gastritis
The diet for gastritis caused by Helicobacter pylori excludes juice-producing products. The basis of the diet is dishes made from whole milk, pearl barley and oatmeal, vegetable puree soups, soft-boiled eggs, cottage cheese, cheese and fruits.
In the remission stage, boiled meat, potatoes, lean ham, porridge, and sour cream are allowed. Canned food, seasonings, fatty meat, and alcohol are excluded.

Diet for subatrophic gastritis
Patients with subatrophic gastritis have an increased risk of developing stomach cancer. Such patients are prescribed diet for gastritis number 1a. It stimulates mucosal reparation, reduces irritation, and is gentle on the stomach. The diet is dairy, excluding fish and mushrooms. The two and a half kilogram diet is divided into 5 meals. It is allowed to eat a little meat soufflé and strained porridge, sweet juices and mousses, and fermented milk dishes are excluded. Subatrophic gastritis requires observation and almost lifelong adherence to the norms of therapeutic nutrition. Rumbling in the stomach, pain in the lower abdomen, and drowsiness should be a reason for you to see a doctor. He will prescribe an FGDS and a blood test. For life, exclude fatty, spicy, coarse food, cold or, conversely, very hot.

Diet for hyperplastic gastritis
The diet for gastritis with the development of tissue hyperplasia excludes alcohol, salty dishes, cabbage, grapes, spicy dishes, mushrooms. It is recommended to eat rabbit meat, fish fillet, kefir, sweet fruit juices, currant decoction, compotes, mousses. Food is consumed in small portions.
Often hyperplastic gastritis occurs without pronounced symptoms. Occasionally, belching and heartburn are possible. The main method for detecting hyperplastic gastritis is gastroscopy.
In addition to diet, it is useful to take 50 g of white clay after meals and Almagel - 1 teaspoon 4 times a day.
Diet for anacid gastritis
The principles of a diet for anacid gastritis, when acid production stops completely, are very simple: first of all, exclude fatty and fried foods. This recommendation is true for all types of gastritis, and gastritis with zero acidity is no exception. Meat broths, pickles and increased consumption of table salt in dishes, strong kumiss and canned food are useful. Proteins and fats are introduced into the body so that they remain in the stomach longer. If food begins to ferment in the intestines, fermented milk products are introduced into the diet. A diet for gastritis with zero acidity allows coffee, ham, yogurt and omelette, fish, meat, vegetable soups, grapes, oranges, raspberries, stale bread, biscuits, fish sauces, compotes, jams, mousses, jellies.
Prohibited: fatty meat, spicy foods, ice cream.
Diet for weight loss with gastritis
What foods should a diet for gastritis contain for a patient who wants to lose weight?
Do not give up porridge. Instead of pasta, put cereals in soups. If you have low or zero acidity, eat more kefir and cottage cheese. Eliminate cream and sweet baby cheese, milkshakes, potatoes, beans. Boiled chicken and chicken are useful.
Choose gentle physical exercises for yourself, ride a bike, walk and run a lot. It is not advisable to lose weight abruptly. You need to eat fractionally and chew your food thoroughly.
