With dyskinesia of the gallbladder, there are periods of exacerbations and improvements. If you do not pay attention to it and leave the diet for dyskinesia of the gallbladder without changing, then after a while it can lead to the following diseases. Perhaps the emergence of inflammatory processes in the gallbladder and biliary tract (cholecystitis, cholangitis), as well as the formation of gallstones (cholelithiasis).

Dyskinesia of the gallbladder is a disease characterized by a violation of the motor functions of the gallbladder. Because of this, there are failures in its contractions, as well as in contractions of the biliary tract and sphincter of Oddi. As a result of these disorders, bile begins to go badly or out of time in the gallbladder. According to the statistics of dyskinesia, women are more likely than men.

Dyskinesia of the gallbladder can be of two kinds - hyperkinetic and hypokinetic.

Hyperkinetic dyskinesia is characterized by an increased level of contraction of the gallbladder due to increased tone. The contractions of this digestive organ begin to take place at an accelerated rate - more often and faster than necessary. But sphincters, which let bile into the biliary tract, are not disclosed as widely as necessary. This leads to seizures: they are accompanied by severe and sharp pain in the right hypochondrium. The duration of seizures, usually, does not exceed one hour. This form of dyskinesia is caused by stress, strong mental discomfort and negative emotions. A woman suffers from dyskinesia because of menstruation, because at this time there is an increase in the tone of the gallbladder. Also young people are affected by this form of dyskinesia.

Hypokinetic dyskinesia is associated with insufficiency of contractions of the gallbladder. With this form of dyskinesia, attacks accompanied by pain in the right hypochondrium are also observed. But the nature of the pain is quite different: the pain sensations are bursting or aching, not strong, but prolonged. Such a form of dyskinesia affects the elderly.
