Mukaltin is allowed during lactation. It effectively suppresses coughing attacks, but does not harm the baby and does not change the composition of breast milk. Tablets are taken at the first painful symptoms, slowly sucking in the mouth or dissolving in 100 ml of warm water. The duration of therapy should not exceed 5 days.
