Instant coffee during pregnancy: is it possible or not? This is one of the most frequent questions that women ask during pregnancy. After all, many can not put their morning without this invigorating drink. Therefore, we will consider whether it is possible to use instant coffee, and whether it is harmful in pregnancy.
Is it possible to soluble coffee during pregnancy?
Undoubtedly, you can drink coffee during pregnancy, but only in moderation, in some cases it is even useful. As a result, when they are turned into instant coffee, they lose their smell and taste. And in order to make this coffee at least something like natural coffee, then add different chemicals to the composition.
Of course, as in another product, it has positive qualities - it is the speed of cooking and the long storage time of this product. But, when it concerns the future mother, these advantages are insignificant, after all any coffee will not bring any advantage neither mother, nor its child.
Therefore, a pregnant woman should abstain from drinking instant coffee.
Is soluble coffee harmful during pregnancy?
Of course, the harm from instant coffee during pregnancy is real, and in order to remain convinced of this, we will consider what kind of threat it carries in itself.
First of all, if you at any time use instant coffee, try to limit yourself to one cup of coffee. And in some cases it is desirable to give up coffee altogether, namely in the third trimester, because then the nervous system of the child is very susceptible to caffeine. Also, a large amount of coffee can lead to a variety of complications during pregnancy and childbirth. This may be premature birth, in the early stages of miscarriages are possible. As you know, coffee affects the normal metabolism of a pregnant woman, which in the future can lead to a child born with a small body weight.
Based on the data of scientists, it is known that with the use of coffee in large quantities during pregnancy, the risk of stillbirth and the development of diabetes in a future child may increase. In addition to diabetes, multiple abnormalities such as anomalies of bone tissue development, heart defects, anemia are possible. Also, the options for delaying the child's mental and physical development in the future are not excluded. Of course, without exception, the cardiovascular system suffers.
Future moms, try not to use instant coffee during pregnancy. But, if you suffer from hypotension, prefer natural coffee, not in large quantities and with milk.
