Every parent wants their child to learn to understand, speak, analyze earlier, to be comprehensively developed, and simply to be adapted to the surrounding conditions. Nowadays, there are many methods of early childhood development, both similar and completely unique.
The baby needs to learn about the world, and parents need to be able to give the most accessible answers to his numerous questions. Scientists have proven that the memory of children under three years old is capable of perceiving and remembering as much information as an adult cannot.
Early childhood development methods vary widely, so it is important to familiarize yourself with the basics of each before choosing one.
Montessori Development Methodology
Here it is assumed that the child learns everything without coercion, based on his own motivation, and chooses his own interests, duration of classes. The role of the teacher is to encourage the child, prepare the environment (for example, selecting material for work that corresponds to the proportions and height of the child).
The kid gets the opportunity to perform tasks on his own, which means he can detect and correct his mistake. There are enough materials for such a system. For example, sorting toys - boxes with holes of different shapes, where the child must insert a figure of the appropriate shape.
This method of early childhood development has many positive aspects:
- promotes the development of hand motor skills, attention,
- imagination, memory;
- develops logical thinking;
- teaches independence;
- instills communication skills.
Doman system
Under his leadership, good methods for early development of the baby were created. According to them, training can begin as early as three months of the baby's life. The goal is to activate mental activity, here the method of visual perception is used. It is necessary to make special cards on a certain topic. A picture is glued to a sheet of cardboard, the image is outlined with a frame, and under it the name of the picture is written in large red letters (it will irritate the eye receptors more, and, therefore, the information will be remembered more quickly).
The cards should be shown to the child for a short time (but several times a day), naming the object depicted on it. The child memorizes what he sees and hears. The main idea of this system is to memorize the word at once, rather than putting it together from syllables and letters. You can gradually increase the number of such cards. The system is quite strong and interesting for children, they like to look at bright pictures.
Training with Zaitsev's cubes
When using the Zaitsev early childhood development method, the child will learn to pronounce all sounds correctly, and therefore, speak clearly. On the edges of the cube are written syllables (single letters, their combinations), from which the child tries to form a word. All cubes differ from each other in size, color, and the ringing sound they make. Thus, the child can feel the difference between a vowel and a consonant, a voiced letter and a voiceless one.
Methodology of Boris and Elena Nikitin
This system is recommended to be used in combination. It is represented by various educational games designed for adults to participate in the game. These are mainly puzzles. They are aimed at developing figurative and logical thinking. The child himself comes up with how, for example, to complete the figure, i.e. the resulting result in the same game can be different.
The above methods of early childhood development indicate that a multifaceted approach to teaching a child is possible.
