You will need:

Gymnastics mat

Starting position

Lie on your stomach with your hands behind your head.

Please note: Do not overextend your back.

Finishing move

Lift your head and torso off the floor, contracting your lower back muscles. Slowly lower your upper body toward the floor.

Note: Use slow, controlled movements. Your muscles should be working, no jerky movements. To make the exercise more challenging, try doing it in the Superman position with your arms straight out in front of you.
