Apart from the corset, nothing is better for relieving pain in the back than these tips from a physiotherapist.
Check your mirror.
You can often stink during long road trips. Set your rear-view mirror under a slightly higher angle, so that every time you look at it, you remind yourself to relax your shoulders and sit up straight.
Take the towel.
Constant sitting damages the disks in the lower part of the spine. A folded towel, sandwiched between the waist and the seat, will relieve tension. Keep one towel in the office and one in the machine.
Get rid of the laptop.
It is designed for portability - and poor posture, because the keyboard is connected to the screen. If you can not work without it, use a separate keyboard, such as the Stowaway Bluetooth ($ 150) model.
Crouch down.
Every time you lift something off the floor, remember that you have to crouch instead of bending down from the waist.
Use the time correctly.
Limited movement is reflected badly on the back. Take extra time, for example, go to a colleague and verbally give him your message instead of sending it by email. Do frequent breaks when you work at home.
