Throughout pregnancy, the expectant mother faces many ailments, the cause of which is hormonal changes in the body and the increased load on it. Some of the problems are specific only for certain trimesters, some for all 9 months. But it is not all that bad! Pregnancy is the natural state of a woman, and with complaints that have arisen, you can successfully fight.
For the first trimester the following indispositions are characteristic:
- Toxicosis. It is encouraging that by the end of the 12th week, most women have completely forgotten about him. Methods of fighting with toxicosis of pregnant women are traditional: eating small portions, but often; During nausea, drink acidified water, or slowly chew a biscuit biscuit. In principle, every future mother will eventually understand what method is more suitable for her;
- Dizziness as a result of a sharp drop in blood pressure. Therefore, from a sitting and lying position, rise slowly, without sudden movements;
- Frequent urination (it is typical for the 3rd trimester). The growing uterus compresses the bladder, so try not to take a lot of fluids at night.
The second trimester is "famous" for such problems:
- Hemorrhoids - the pressure that creates the baby's head, leads to an expansion of the veins of the rectum. Prevention of haemorrhage during pregnancy: avoid constipation, eat foods rich in fiber, try not to sit for a long time. In severe cases, consult a doctor to prescribe special suppositories or ointments;
- Stretch marks on the abdomen - appear with a decrease in the elasticity of the skin. To prevent their occurrence, use special cosmetics;
- Increased sweating - is caused by hormonal changes and intensive blood circulation. Try to wear clothes only from natural materials.
In the third trimester typical complaints:
- Shortness of breath - a growing fetus presses against the diaphragm. Approximately one month before delivery, this problem will disappear. Another reason for shortness of breath may be anemia, so regularly monitor the level of hemoglobin in the blood;
- Edema. If they are not accompanied by high blood pressure or the appearance of protein in the urine - nothing terrible. Just try to rest more and go to a salt-free diet. To prevent edema, as well as dyspnea due to a reduced level of hemoglobin, it is necessary to constantly monitor the indicators by giving tests for pregnant women in laboratories;
- Spasms of the muscles - often caused by a lack of calcium in the body. Consult your doctor in gynecological clinics;
- Heartburn - is caused by the relaxed state of the valve when entering the stomach. Exclude from the diet fried and smoked food, and in case of an attack - drink a small sip of a glass of warm "Borjomi".
For all 9 months are characterized by:
- Bleeding gums due to their softening. Brush your teeth with a special paste and a soft toothbrush;
- Constipation during pregnancy - the hormone progesterone acts relaxing and on the muscles of the intestine. Eat foods rich in fiber;
- Phlebeurysm. Avoid a long static position and habit of sitting "foot on foot";
- Increase in vaginal discharge due to hormonal changes in the body. Do not use deodorized daily pads and visit a doctor to eliminate bacterial infections.
