  • boil the beet peeled, remove it from the water, grate it on a coarse grater and bring it back, adding lemon juice. Everyone portion the composition into a deep plate: cubes of cucumber, boiled egg, boiled meat, chopped greens and pour beet broth, put sour cream. This okroshka is great in the summer in the heat.

Patients with low acidity can drink beet juice: grate the raw vegetable on a fine grater, squeeze the juice through gauze, put in the refrigerator for an hour. Used raw beets and for salads, it stimulates the release of gastric juice, digestive enzymes.
