Learning to count children is a real achievement for kids. Many parents wonder how to teach a child to count? In this case, there is a whole system that parents should adhere to in order for the learning process to be quick and joyful.
Children's memory
Memory for children is very complex. Kids remember the information that they liked, interested them, maybe even scared them. If your lessons with the kid will bring him joy, you will not notice how he will master the science of the account. Even linguists say that when learning any language, the most memorable are the numerals.
Pros of studying the account
Doing mathematics is much easier than reading scientific literature and memorizing complex abbreviations, sitting for hours at a table. You can count everywhere, you must always count. Your child can count in the kindergarten, while walking in the fresh air, at home, visiting - everywhere. Even dressing can be considered the number of dressed socks or buttons on the shirt. If you teach children from an early age, then they develop a brain physically, they become more efficient and inquisitive.
How to learn to count?
First you need to clearly delineate what is a figure, and what is the number. A digit is, for example, 1, 3, 5, 10, the number means the number. And the number is the number of objects. Objects can be three, five.
You can tell a child that for breakfast he will get 5 spoons of food and you need to help the baby, count them one at a time.
Leaving with the child in the store, tell him what you are going to buy, count with the child the number of purchases. Ask to remind him what exactly and how many products you need to buy together in the store.
Training for the kid
Wonderful training for the baby will be a game in the store, and the currency can be anything: buttons, coins, various objects of a small form of the same type. Excellent will play candy wrappers or just write on the pieces of paper. By the way, children at the age of three very much like the payment process. They are addicted to this action and immediately learn to count.
You can also divide apples into parts, sweets, bananas or any product that your child likes to eat. Ask the kid how many parts will get to mom, dad, cat or any member of the family.
The main thing is for the child to understand that if he has both hands, for example, a typewriter, or a doll, then these are two dolls or cars.
Cards
You can cut cardboard cards, which will be, approximately, 25x25 centimeters. On these cards draw a dot with dot-pencils or circles. Take one card and draw on it two points, on the other two points, on the third three points. Thus, you can change cards in any order and there can be as many cards as you like. The child will try to count both the number of cards and the number of circles, and you will help him in this.
You can take the child away in the same way. Put two cards in front of him, ask how many and there and then remove one. Let him say that there is one card left. If the kid is difficult, tell him and in no case do not scold him if he forgets something or he will not succeed. The main thing is striving and interest. If you are interested in the baby, he will be the first to tell you how many cards remain.
The main thing - patience
Over time, your child will learn more difficult calculations, but the main thing is to teach the child to count. If he understands the principle, then everything will work out for him. Encourage the baby to eat delicious food, which he loves. Then the child will be interested in mathematics.
