Pregnancy and dancing - very many of those who are preparing to become mothers, are wondering how they combine?
It is necessary immediately to clarify, dispel all doubts and fears in this regard - if in the process of intrauterine development of the child there is no appearance of any kind, deviations and anomalies, and also, if the condition of the pregnant woman is satisfactory, one can primarily expect a fully affirmative answer . Motor activity during dancing is an unconditional positive factor of health, both for mom and for future baby.
The period in the life of a woman, in which she carries a child, is, undoubtedly, a very difficult time for the future mother, due to the many changes that occur both in her body and in the psycho-emotional sphere. And life after that, often very long-awaited, a moment when it is confirmed that a little baby begins to form inside of it, still continues. Just the rhythm of it becomes a little different, somewhat more measured, smooth. But this does not mean at all that you can not bring a bit of variety in the form of a regular enough intense physical activity, such as when you are dancing.
So, if contraindications to dances are not revealed and the doctor, under the supervision of which the woman is in pregnancy, gives good, you can start performing all sorts of dance steps. Of course with a little caveat. It would not be prudent for a woman "in a position" to continue to remain, as possible, and earlier, a regular at nightclubs and confirm the title of the Queen of the dance floor. The benefits of a disco are questionable, and except that it can lead to overwork, in fact, nothing good can not give. It is necessary to choose those types of dances, in which the sudden movements are excluded, there is no significant tension in the abdominal muscles so that the placenta does not come off. Excessive stress on the musculature of the peritoneum besides this is fraught with an increase in the uterine tone and increases the risk of premature birth. On the other hand, those kinds of dances in which movements with the hands of the feet are necessary, backs, necks, will go only for the good.
Dancing lessons should be conducted under the guidance of an instructor who has experience of conducting groups on a special program designed for pregnant women. Such a coach will help to choose the most appropriate rhythm of lessons and determine the degree of allowable burden on the woman's body.
Pregnancy and dances practiced during this period need to closely monitor all the changes that occur while feeling well and the state of the future mother, and if they acquire a negative character, such activities should be stopped immediately.

Use of dances during pregnancy
The use of dances during pregnancy is a number of positive moments, among which the following can be named.
Choreographic exercises contribute to reducing the degree of discomfort experienced by a woman in connection with the state of pregnancy. Thanks to them, the general tone of the body rises, and its vital energy reserve increases.
Dancing is able to act as one of the essential factors causing a reduction in the likelihood that there may be a need for medical intervention in the natural process of childbirth. They contribute to minimizing the need for the possible implementation of labor by the caesarean section method.
Regular execution of dance movements by a pregnant woman is able to further help prevent a prolonged postpartum depression.
Dancing in the period of bearing a child is an excellent preparatory measures for the body for labor, as the result is the strengthening of the musculature of the legs, in particular the hips, muscles in the hip region and in the back, and in addition to this vaginal muscles.
As a result of the dances for the future mother, the risk of the fact that the birth may occur earlier than at the due date or will be accompanied by all possible complications decreases. And while pregnancy lasts, they to some extent help prevent hypertensive disorders, the appearance of pre-eclampsia (late toxicosis) of pregnant women, the development of diabetes of a gestational type, that is, developing on the background of pregnancy.
The use of dances for a woman preparing to become a mother also consists in the fact that this is for her a wonderful variant of physical activity and has a beneficial effect on the state of the respiratory system, contributing to the acquisition of proper breathing skills during childbirth.
It should be noted that the benefits of dancing during pregnancy are also in the positive psychological aspect of such activities. With the onset of about the 5th-6th month of development, the child begins to hear and react to sounds that come to him from outside. Music, thus, under which his mother dances, can most positively promote prenatal, intrauterine development and education before birth.
Dancing in Pregnancy
Dancing during pregnancy is, by and large, all the same gymnastics, one of all sorts of its varieties. The effect of dancing, say, flamenco or for example salsa, is comparable to the results achieved when visiting special groups of yoga or aqua aerobics for pregnant women. And the consequences in each of these cases are beyond any doubt positive. After all, these are the complexes of muscles that are subjected to the greatest stress during childbirth. Flexibility and flexibility are trained, and besides this, the pregnant woman develops the ability to concentrate on her own body. An important point is seen in addition to receiving her from the dance a lot of positive emotions.
Nevertheless, practicing the dance floor, we must not lose sight of the fact that dancing still requires an enormous amount of effort and energy from the body. Therefore, in order to avoid excessive fatigue, if the woman was not very friendly with the sport before pregnancy, the intensity of the loads should be gentle until the 20-week period. Do not be too enthusiastic in sudden movements, jerks and jumps.
Performing exercises helping to develop the plastic body should be at the machine (just as the dancers are warming up). And as the pregnancy progresses to the middle, in order to protect the veins and spine from overload, it is advisable to make them preferably sitting or lying down. It is very important to maintain the correct position of the back.
Regular lessons of 20 minutes to half an hour are suggested three times a week. The load level should be selected based on how physically prepared the woman is and how well she feels. The occurrence of dizziness, increased palpitation, the appearance of signs of fatigue signals the need to stop the occupation.
Dancing during pregnancy with systematic gradual increase in loads will eventually lead to the emergence of skills to control your body well. Improves the coordination of movements and develops the ability to maintain a state of equilibrium. Muscles will become stronger and more elastic.
Belly dance during pregnancy
Belly dancing during pregnancy is a wonderful way to exercise for a woman who is preparing to become a mother. Based on the experience of medical specialists and educators, it can be argued that, if certain necessary conditions are met, nothing is hampered by doing practically anything to them.
The possible risk of negative consequences is minimal for the mother and the child in the event that this dance is practiced on the basis of an individual approach, in the lessons with the teacher, which offers exercises with sparing level of loads. The choice of a set of such exercises is carried out, taking into account all the features of the course of pregnancy and its timing, which is of great importance in order to avoid excessive overstrain of the pregnant woman.
Classes in belly dances should occur with the exception of sudden movements, shakes, bumps, jolts. Not too enthusiastic writing of monograms by hips is not welcome. Accent is recommended for making the movements with hands, hips, neck. It would be nice to also build a dance in such a way that it involves the muscles of the back, which as the pregnancy period increases, the ever increasing burden falls.
Belly dance on the dates approaching the time of birth contributes to the effective neutralization of the unpleasant sensations arising from the relaxation of the ligaments with a certain discrepancy of the pelvic bones on the threshold of the onset of the birth process. From such a dance, the muscles that move the joints in the hip area become more trained. Something like self-massage of internal organs located in the abdomen cavity occurs.
The beneficial effect of the dance is also that it acts as a preventive measure against such a frequent phenomenon in pregnant women as varicose veins.
Belly dancing during pregnancy will help a woman learn to concentrate, manage stress and relaxation of her body, which is important in childbirth. And in the period after the birth of the baby, this dance helps to restore the physical form of the previous pregnancy, allows you to quickly tighten the stomach and improve the shape of the breast.

Oriental dances during pregnancy
Eastern dances during pregnancy, as many experts say, are very useful for a woman's health, primarily at the stage of child planning, before conception. Often it is not forbidden to continue to engage in them and during the time of bearing the child. On the other hand, it is often possible to meet the opposite, no less authoritative opinion, that as soon as a pregnancy comes, dances should be immediately abandoned. Justification for this can serve as a number of characteristic features that distinguish eastern dances, which calls into question the advisability of them at a given period in the life of a woman.
So the performance of oriental dance is associated with the need to strain certain muscle groups during it, in which there is a possibility of harm, both in relation to the state of the pregnant woman, and for the child developing within it. In the early stages, therefore, instead of practicing dancing, it is recommended to give preference to performing breathing exercises and gymnastics.
In favor of oriental dances, however, it must be said that they are quite justifiably called dances of primordially female fertility. The sequence of movements, regulated by this dance, as if symbolically reflects how the child is born. The basic movements of the dance are performed by the hips and abdomen, causing associations with the process of conception and childbirth. In them, the muscles of those groups undergo the greatest tension and, accordingly, development and training, which are not active in other circumstances, but are of great importance for a woman to safely endure and successfully give birth to a child. By such are meant mainly the pelvic muscles.
Oriental dances during pregnancy, appropriately adapted for women in this state, represent one of the best types of physical activity that contributes to the preparation for the forthcoming birth and have a beneficial effect on the future baby.
