Reviews of the Dolina diet are very different. Those who have lost weight on this diet system note a clear loss of excess weight. But the Dolina diet also has its drawbacks. Here is what our readers say about them.

Discomfort in the abdomen

When I first started losing weight on Dolina's diet, I had some unpleasant sensations in my stomach. These were not pains, but rather a kind of discomfort in the intestinal area. This sensation haunted me throughout the entire diet.

What are the reviews about Larisa Dolina's diet?

Because I couldn't eat my usual and favorite foods, I suffered greatly from the fact that I always wanted to eat something sour or salty. And salt is exactly what is forbidden in Dolina's diet. I really wanted to just take a pinch of salt and lick it off with my tongue - the body demanded its usual diet and taste sensations.

True, I decided to mentally convince myself that if I stick it out to the end, I will be slim and beautiful. This thought supported me throughout the entire diet.

The hardest day for me was the 4th day of the Dolina diet without spices and salty things. But I still managed to endure it. The turning point was the 6th day of the diet: I finally broke down and ate everything I wanted. As a result, in 5 days of sitting on this diet I managed to lose 5 kg of excess weight, but already on the 6th day (when I could not stand the execution) I gained back 1.5 kilos.

I'll try again a little later.

It was hard for me to go without snacks.

Last May I tried the Dolina diet. And not alone, but with a friend. We were tempted by the fact that in a short period of one week you can lose 6 kilos.

At first we supported each other, asking on the phone: "Have you broken down? What did you eat today? How did you manage to give up buns?" and in the first 3-4 days it was relatively easy to stick to the diet.

The only difficulty was that I work a lot on the computer with a flexible schedule, so I always have the opportunity to get up and have a snack. It was a very big temptation. Especially since both me and my friend were so tired of kefir. I wanted to diversify my diet with something more delicious.

Apples and pears, which we both love, really helped. We could eat them and we didn't get tired of them. True, by evening we were very hungry. I didn't break down and held on, but I constantly dreamed of cakes and pastries, which I was missing so much now.

I was very encouraged by the fact that on Dolina's diet we really did start losing weight rapidly. For example, I was able to lose 5 kg in 4 days, and my friend - 3. Six months have passed, and I can confidently say that my new weight has been maintained for quite a long time - only 1 kg has returned, but they say that this is normal when leaving the diet.

This winter I plan to try the Valley diet again to stay in shape.

Giving up sugar was much easier than giving up salt

I really wanted to lose weight quickly - in just a week, and the reviews of Dolina's diet were the most positive. And I decided to try this nutrition system, especially since I really love kefir and cottage cheese.

It was unusual for me to change my eating regimen – to eat fractionally, at least 6 times a day. But I gradually got used to it and even use this nutrition system to this day. I got used to eating by the hour by making a schedule of meals for myself and printing it out on paper.

At home I had a copy of the schedule hanging on the refrigerator, and at work I kept it next to my computer. Of course, I was guaranteed to get puzzled looks from my colleagues all week long.

I will say frankly: maybe such a diet is good for those who are losing weight at home. But I would not recommend this diet to office workers with their intensive regime and the inability to eat at any time.

In Dolina's diet, nothing was difficult for me, except for giving up salt. I really like salty foods! Sugar is not so bad - I gradually got used to drinking tea and coffee without sugar, especially since I had practiced it before. But without salt it was very difficult.

One time I wanted salt so much that I baked some potatoes and sprinkled it on anyway. For which I scolded myself for a long time afterwards.

The hardest day for me was the 5th day. The diet was so monotonous, and I wanted meat and sweet buns so much that I barely lasted until the end of the diet. Yes, I managed to lose almost 6 kg in 6 days, but at what cost!

In the end, I decided that I would hardly want to try this diet a second time, although the results from it last for quite a long time – several months.
