This is a big stress for the body, it can start to resist, poorly digest food, and poorly digested food is fat deposits on your hips and back. And not only there.

Get used to the new diet little by little, gradually eliminating from your diet those products that do not suit you and replacing them with others - more useful ones. This may take a week or two to adapt.

Why are proteins and carbohydrates incompatible?

For example, you ate a piece of meat and then immediately ate a cucumber. Meat is proteins, cucumber is carbohydrates. Meat is digested and assimilated for quite a long time - from 5 hours. Cucumber is digested immediately.

One process will interfere with the other, and the body will be reluctant to accept both products. The result is fat deposits.

Eat proteins and carbohydrates separately. Moreover, due to the low rate of absorption of proteins, it is advisable to take them before 2 p.m. so that they have time to break down and digest. But carbohydrates (cucumber (vegetable), apple, pear, other fresh fruits) can be eaten in the evening.

Those products that are on your list of neutral for your blood type can be consumed whenever you want – for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The blood type diet allows you to have snacks between the 3 main meals.

Diet and drinks

When you eat a particular dish, drinks may go well with it, or they may be completely unacceptable. Therefore, pairing drinks with dishes is very important.

If your meal contains carbohydrates (cucumber salad), do not wash it down with juice from sour berries. This will trigger undesirable oxidation processes in the gastrointestinal tract.

However, with carbohydrates you can safely drink herbal infusions, green teas, still or slightly carbonated mineral water, and coffee.

If you have protein dishes on the table now, you can wash them down with fruit juice (something you can't do after a carbohydrate meal). Juices that are too concentrated can be diluted with mineral water.

Herbal and green teas also go well with proteins. You can also have still mineral water, wine (dry) and coffee.

Coffee goes well with any kind of food. The same can be said about green tea. These are universal drinks that you can combine with both proteins and carbohydrates.

And a few more facts about blood types

Many people practice salt-free diets. The blood type diet does not have this. Salt is allowed. Moreover, if you have an iodine deficiency in your body, replenish it by salting your dishes with iodized salt.

As for spices, when developing a diet for any blood type, it is better not to use peppercorns. Of the types of peppercorns, only Jamaican pepper is allowed - it has a more gentle effect on the body.
