Step #1 Analyze the diagnostic results
This way you will understand which symptoms are dangerous for you and can indicate hidden or obvious diseases, and which ones are not worth wasting time and attention on.
For example, a high level of “bad” cholesterol may indicate serious blood diseases, a tendency to vascular diseases, and heart problems.
The same applies to the following symptoms
- Increased fatigue
- Steady weight gain
- High blood pressure
- High blood sugar
- Tendency to fractures
Step #2 Determine if you have a genetic predisposition to diseases?
Observe who and their close relatives have serious illnesses:
- Cancer
- tumors
- diabetes
- high cholesterol
- heart disease
- high blood pressure
- thyroid dysfunction
- obesity
- cardiovascular diseases
- long-term depression
- osteoporosis
If your immediate family members have one or more of these diseases, you should have regular hormone tests and take preventive measures.
Step #3: Check your condition with hormone tests and other analyses
Be sure to see your doctor every six months or a year for routine checkups and hormone tests. The very first tests you should take are urine and blood tests. What else is important to know when analyzing hormone levels?
Determine the amount and concentration of hormones in the blood serum. This is such an important set of hormones as:
Progesterone
- estradiol
- follicle stimulating hormone
- dehydroepiandrosterone-3
- dehydroepiandrosterone
- testosterone
- thyroid stimulating hormone
- cortisol
- thyroid antibodies
- free, not in bound form, levels of hormones T3 and T4 (produced by the thyroid gland)
What else is important for determining the hormonal balance in the body? These are hormones, the concentration of which is analyzed only on an empty stomach.
That is, lipids (including triglycerides, LDL, cholesterol, HDL).
It is also important to know the level of insulin and glucose, as well as hemoglobin.
For a more accurate picture of hormonal balance, it is important to determine what the glucose level in the body is 2 hours after eating, especially if your waist size is more than 83 cm.
As a result of the tests, the doctor can also determine whether your metabolism is slow or activated, which will allow you to monitor the work of electrolytes.
It is necessary to determine whether the tissues of the spine and pelvic bones are actively regenerating. This can be done using X-rays.
To get a clearer picture of all the processes in your body, it is important to conduct an analysis of the NT substance, which is found in urine or blood serum. This analysis will show how quickly bone tissue is restored and whether it has become brittle.
Step #4: Draw a conclusion about your lifestyle
Check your menu for variety. Does it include all the healthy foods or is your diet catastrophically poor?
Pay attention to your habits: do you sleep enough hours (7 to 8)? Do you smoke? Do you abuse alcohol? Do you get enough rest?
Write down what habits you want to get rid of, set a deadline, and get to work today.
Do you take medications? How do you do it – as you please or on the advice of a doctor? Make a list of all the medications you take. Opposite, write the duration of use and the effect of them. Maybe this list should be shortened by a third or even half? Maybe these medications are mutually incompatible?
Visit a doctor and improve your list of medications. Eliminate unnecessary ones - they can be the cause of excess weight and bad mood, not to mention your well-being.
Step #5: Make a list of the causes of your stress
Write down what causes you stress. What can you change and what can’t you? What can you eliminate from the list? How can you reduce the harm from stressful situations?
If you follow each step you have planned, you will significantly improve your health even without formal treatment.
