Particular attention is paid to diet therapy. Nutrition during illness should be as gentle as possible so that the gastrointestinal tract can recover. Liquid dishes, i.e. soups, should be the main part of the diet. The following dietary recipes are the best for diarrhea:

  1. Chicken soup is the most popular dish for digestive disorders. When preparing it, it is better to use chicken fillet, potatoes, carrots, onions, greens and oatmeal. All ingredients are prepared as for a regular soup, but very finely chopped, if desired, the thick can be pureed with a blender. Due to the oatmeal, the dish turns out slimy, which is very useful for irritable intestines. Instead of chicken, you can use turkey, which will make the dish even healthier.
  2. Fish soup – it is better to use fish with a high iodine content to prepare this dish. Salmon, hake or catfish are ideal. You can add potatoes, a couple of spoons of semolina, herbs and salt to taste to the fish broth.
  3. Meat soup – only lean meats can be used for diarrhea. Young veal, beef or rabbit are allowed. The meat in the soup should be finely chopped or divided into fibers after cooking. Of the cereals, it is better to add buckwheat to the dish, which is also useful for diarrhea.

  1. Pour one tablespoon of dried bird cherry fruits with a glass of boiling water and simmer for 10-15 minutes. After cooling, strain and add a teaspoon of propolis alcohol tincture. Take ½ glass 2-3 times a day before meals.
  2. Take 100 g of cherries and pour 500 ml of dry red wine made from grapes over them. The remedy should be infused for 48 hours in a warm place. The tincture should be filtered and taken 50 ml 2 times a day.
  3. Take bird cherry and blueberry in a 4:3 ratio. Pour 250 ml of boiling water over the berries and simmer for 20 minutes. Strain and drink 50 ml 3-4 times a day before meals.
  4. Brew two tablespoons of cranberry berries and leaves in 500 ml of water and boil for 10-15 minutes. Cool and filter. Take 100 ml 4 times a day.

Freshly squeezed but diluted with boiled water in a 1:1 ratio juice of lingonberries, gooseberries, strawberries has antidiarrheal properties. Before preparing the berry medicine, you should kill yourself in the absence of contraindications for its use.

Blueberries for diarrhea

A tasty and healthy berry is blueberry. For diarrhea, it is used in the form of decoctions or infusions in combination with other plant components. The medicinal properties of the berry consist of an increased content of vitamins and tannins. The astringent effect when eating blueberries during diarrhea occurs due to gallic acid and hydroquinone.

The berry helps with the following digestive problems:

  • Diarrhea – the astringent components of the fruit restore stool and improve the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract.
  • Indigestion, flatulence – tones, has a gastroprotective effect and normalizes digestion.
  • Inflammatory bowel disease – helps with infection by pathogenic microorganisms. Stops putrefactive and fermentative processes.

Popular recipes using blueberries to treat diarrhea.

  1. Grind two teaspoons of berries thoroughly and pour a glass of boiling water over them. The drink should be infused for 3-5 hours and divided into 4 doses during the day. You can also eat 3-5 fresh berries every 4 hours, chewing them thoroughly.
  2. Take a tablespoon of dried blueberry flowers and pour 500 ml of boiling water. Place the product in a water bath and boil until it evaporates by half. Use warm, 1/3 cup before meals.
  3. Boil 2 liters of water and add 200 grams of dried blueberries and 100 grams of granulated sugar. Boil everything over medium heat for 20-30 minutes. Gradually add 4 tablespoons of starch to the drink and stir again to remove lumps. The jelly should be consumed 150 ml 3-4 times a day.

Blueberries are contraindicated in cases of increased stomach acidity, hypersensitivity to its components, urolithiasis, pancreatic pathologies and for the treatment of small children.

Raw egg for diarrhea

Treatment of gastrointestinal disorders is carried out using a complex of different methods and recipes. Eggs for diarrhea are a folk remedy. The effectiveness of the product is confirmed by its properties:

  • Envelops mucous membranes, protecting against the irritating effects of food.
  • Promotes the restoration of damaged tissues and mucous membranes, especially in intestinal infections.
  • Increases local immunity, makes the body less susceptible to pathogenic microorganisms.

Raw eggs for diarrhea can be taken no more than once a day. But you should consider the risk of salmonella infection. To prevent this, it is better to add a couple of drops of iodine to the egg. The product has an enveloping effect and prevents irritation of the mucous membrane.

Hard-boiled eggs help to bind stool. Boiled yolk is easily digestible and is good for the gastrointestinal tract. Protein normalizes bowel function. In case of diarrhea, you can eat no more than two boiled eggs per day.

It should also be taken into account that eggs are a strong allergen. If there is a risk of developing allergic reactions, it is better to use quail eggs. They are hypoallergenic, but have the same properties as chicken eggs, and contain more nutrients. You can eat no more than 3 pieces per day.

Rusks for diarrhea

Another folk remedy for diarrhea is crackers. They act as a kind of absorbent that absorbs toxins and other harmful substances, restrains intestinal motility and restores the digestive tract. They are made from bread, with frequent stools with a high water content, you can use the following crackers:

  • Wheat – contains vitamin B6, PP, E, minerals and microelements.
  • From white bread – rich in carbohydrates, effective in cases of poisoning and during a postoperative diet. Contains vitamins B1 and B2, E, PP, calcium, phosphorus, potassium.
  • Rye - low in calories, do not put a strain on the intestines. Contains B vitamins, calcium, cobalt and other substances.

To treat diarrhea, you can make a kind of jelly based on crackers. To do this, take a glass of water and soak a handful of crackers in it until they dissolve. Eat no more than 2-3 glasses a day. Crackers can be eaten in their pure form, washed down with herbal tea.

Special attention should be paid to the preparation of rusks. The bread should be cut into thin slices and dried in the oven on both sides until a slightly golden crust forms. Bread should not be fried in oil, as this is contraindicated in case of intestinal disorders, and is harmful to the liver and pancreas.
