A cleansing diet is a great way to overcome chronic fatigue, eliminate the effects of stress and the damaging effects of the environment, improve the condition of blood vessels, skin and hair.

Nowadays, there are many known ways to cleanse the body: enemas and tubages. At the same time, dietary nutrition is one of the most gentle and effective options for cleansing.

The essence of a cleansing diet is eating dishes that consist of healthy natural products, without chemical or other artificial additives. The result of such a diet will be more noticeable if you simultaneously lead a healthy lifestyle, adhere to a sleep and rest regime. There is hardly any point in a cleansing diet if you continue to smoke and drink alcohol during it.

7 Day Cleansing Diet

The seven-day cleansing diet involves predominantly eating foods with a high fiber content. Such foods have a beneficial effect on the functioning of the intestines, cleansing their walls and helping to remove metabolic products.

It is recommended to cleanse regularly, 1-2 times a year. The fact is that a large amount of toxins affects not only our mood, but also worsens metabolism, causes insomnia or drowsiness, affects appetite.

It is necessary to prepare for the change in diet in advance. 10 days before the start, you should exclude strong coffee and tea, alcoholic beverages from the diet. Herbal infusions, non-carbonated mineral water, low-fat dairy products are allowed. It is advisable to give up salt and pepper, meat and fried foods a week before the diet - this will help you easily endure the 7-day changes in diet.

What you can eat:

  • white meat without fat;
  • all kinds of vegetables or fruits;
  • Hercules;
  • low-fat dairy products;
  • dark bread;
  • vegetable oils.

Throughout the entire diet period, you need to drink at least 1.5 liters of still water every day.

Sample menu for a cleansing diet:

  • First meal: 150 g of fruit or berries, a sandwich with cheese or cottage cheese, freshly squeezed juice or herbal tea;
  • Second meal: vegetable dish (soup, stew), supplemented with a piece of steamed meat or salad.
  • Third meal: vegetable or fish casserole, or porridge with vegetables, or salad.

Shortly before bed, you are allowed to drink 150 ml of yogurt or kefir.

5 Day Cleansing Diet

The accelerated five-day cleansing diet involves a temporary refusal to consume salt, sugar, baked goods and carbonated mineral water.

Here is an approximate diet for 5 days:

  • On the first and second days we eat only apples and drink green tea (you can add honey).
  • On the third day, we have oatmeal for breakfast, a piece of lean meat with vegetables for lunch, and a portion of cooked rice for dinner.
  • We start the fourth day with oatmeal, have a few apples for lunch, and eat a large orange for dinner.
  • On the fifth day, have low-fat cottage cheese for breakfast, a vegetable salad with unrefined oil for lunch, and a portion of boiled rice for dinner.

Between meals, you are allowed to drink a cup of tea with lemon, or eat some vegetable or unsweetened fruit.

If there are problems with the gastrointestinal tract, then the diet must be agreed upon with a doctor.

4 Day Cleansing Diet

It is preferable to carry out such cleansing in the summer, when you can stock up on fresh vegetables or fruits in abundance. According to reviews, in 4 days you can not only cleanse the body, but also get rid of 4 kg of excess weight.

  • Day 1: Only fresh fruits and berries or freshly squeezed juices are allowed.
  • Day 2: You can only drink herbal or berry teas. This could be chamomile, raspberry, currant, mint, etc.
  • Day 3: You are allowed to eat soup made from cabbage, greens, sweet peppers and onions throughout the day.
  • Day 4: It is recommended to eat a variety of vegetable salads, up to 2 kg per day.

At the same time, you should follow a drinking regime. It is advisable to limit physical activity, but walks in the fresh air are a must.

Those who have already tried the 4-day diet talk about effective body cleansing. Nutritionists consider the proposed diet too strict and do not recommend sticking to such a diet for a long time.

Cleansing diet for 3 days

The express cleansing diet, designed for three days, is designed to make the intestines clean in a short time. In order to bring the idea to life, we will need a variety of fruits and vegetables, and, optionally, a juicer. Before you start cleansing the body, you need to remember a few simple rules:

  1. During these three days it is advisable to avoid excessive physical activity;
  2. To successfully remove toxic substances from the body, it is important to drink a sufficient amount of liquid (at least 2 liters);
  3. If you have any gastrointestinal diseases, you should consult a doctor.
  • Day 1 – fruit. We lean on fruits, which we eat instead of breakfast, lunch and dinner (but not more than 200 g at a time). In addition to fruits, it is permissible to drink only water and herbal tea without sugar.
  • Day II – vegetable. Throughout the day we eat only vegetables, in any form: they can be boiled, baked, stewed, cut into salads, etc. In addition, do not forget to drink water or herbal tea.
  • Day III is the final juice cleanse. Prepare juice from vegetables or fruits, as desired. If you don’t have a juicer, you can continue to eat fresh vegetables and fruits, but no more than 200 g per serving.

After three days, you should feel a sense of lightness and comfort in your intestines. In addition, you may lose a few extra pounds, if you had any.

Cleansing diet for weight loss

Experts say that in order to truly cleanse the body, the diet should last at least 2 weeks. As a result, the organs will work more efficiently, and the person will feel cheerful and full of energy.

The most popular cleansing diet combines drinking and eating days, which alternate one after another. During the cleansing, you should give preference to plant products, consuming a minimum of fats and animal proteins. This will improve the functioning of the cardiovascular system, and also saturate the body with vitamins and useful minerals.

Diet rules:

  • Immediately after waking up, it is advisable to drink a cup of water with a small amount of lemon juice, or green tea without sugar.
  • For breakfast, you can choose fruit salad, cottage cheese with berries, or oatmeal with water or low-fat milk.
  • For lunch, it is better to choose a vegetable salad with greens, or vegetable soup, or porridge.
  • For dinner, you can eat a serving of stewed vegetables, or a side dish of cereals or legumes.
  • Between main meals, it is permissible to eat small amounts of nuts or dried fruits.
  • Before going to bed you should drink a glass of milk or kefir.
  • Every other day, you need to have exclusively drinking days, during which you do not eat solid food. Instead, drink green or herbal tea, or non-carbonated mineral water with lemon juice.

This diet is designed for a maximum of three weeks. Long-term adherence to such a diet is not recommended, as it can lead to a failure of metabolic processes.

Cleansing buckwheat diet

Buckwheat is a very valuable food product that is often used in various diets. Buckwheat contains many useful substances, such as vitamins, microelements, protein, fiber. All this allows you not only to cleanse the body, but also to lose a few kilograms.

To enhance the effectiveness of the diet, you can eat green (white, unprocessed) buckwheat, provided that you do not have inflammatory diseases of the digestive system. Buckwheat is allowed to be combined with a salad of vegetables and greens.

The cleansing is carried out for 2 weeks. After waking up and until a strong feeling of hunger appears, only drinking clean water is allowed. As soon as hunger makes itself known, 100 g of cereal should be ground into flour and consumed dry, chewing well and moistening with saliva. In extreme cases, it is allowed to mix buckwheat flour with a small amount of vegetable juice.

After 2-3 hours, you can eat some fruit or vegetable, or drink 200 ml of kefir.

If the previous option did not suit you, you can try a diet on steamed buckwheat. The porridge is prepared in the evening: you need to pour 2 cups of cereal into a thermos and pour 4 cups of boiling water over it. Overnight, the porridge will swell and will be ready by morning.

Such buckwheat should be divided into several portions (5-6 meals). You cannot add sugar, salt, oil, etc. to the cereal. It is allowed to consume 1 liter of kefir, as well as several apples.

The cleansing buckwheat diet can last up to 2 weeks, but not more than 2 times a year.

Cleansing rice diet

During one day, you are allowed to eat 180 g of rice, divided into three meals. In addition to rice, you can eat up to 100 g of fresh or dried fruit, up to 300 g of vegetables, up to 20 g of vegetable oil, and in addition - vegetable broth without salt and pepper.

In the morning, on an empty stomach, you should drink 200 ml of clean water or tea made from mint leaves or chamomile flowers.

The rice cleansing diet lasts one week. The menu for each day may look something like this:

  • Day 1. First meal – rice garnish on water with apple pieces and lemon zest. For lunch – rice with dill and a small amount of unrefined oil, vegetable salad. For dinner – a cup of vegetable broth and some rice.
  • Day 2. For breakfast – one tangerine and a rice side dish. For lunch – rice and vegetable stew. For dinner – a cup of vegetable broth with rice cereal added.
  • Day III. First meal – rice with a pinch of cinnamon. For lunch – zucchini baked with rice. For dinner – steamed rice with cabbage.
  • Day IV. Instead of breakfast – fruit mix and rice porridge. For lunch – rice with carrots, salad. For dinner – a cup of vegetable broth with rice cereal.
  • Day 5. For breakfast – rice and dried fruits. For lunch – rice, vegetables. For dinner – rice with dill and onion, broth.
  • Day 6. For breakfast – rice porridge with pear. For lunch – rice, salad of sweet pepper and green onion. For dinner – apples and some rice with basil.
  • Day 7. For breakfast – boiled rice with lemon. For lunch – a cup of broth with rice and tomato. For dinner – rice with zucchini or eggplant.

The exit from the diet is gradual, preferably with the use of fermented milk products and freshly squeezed juices. It is not recommended to immediately switch to a normal diet.

Oatmeal Cleansing Diet

The essence of the oatmeal diet is to exclude sweets, bakery products and animal fat from the diet. The main food is oatmeal - for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The duration of such limited nutrition is up to 10 days, twice a year. Some arrange for themselves a fasting day on oatmeal once a week.

Oatmeal is prepared in water or milk, without salt, sugar or butter. It is allowed to add unsweetened fruits.

It is important not to overeat: the portion should be approximately 150-200 g of porridge per serving. You should eat 5-6 times a day, and the last meal should be 3 hours before going to bed.

What can you eat besides oatmeal:

  • unsweetened fruits and berries (mainly in the first half of the day);
  • vegetables;
  • dried fruits;
  • beans;
  • green;
  • kefir or yogurt.

What you shouldn't eat:

  • bananas, grapes;
  • sugar, salt;
  • meat, fish, animal fats;
  • milk, butter, sour cream;
  • alcoholic beverages.

During the day, you need to drink water - at least one and a half liters. It is also allowed to drink green tea and fresh juices (in quantities up to 0.5 l). You should drink something before or after a meal, but not during it.

If you follow the diet exactly, you can not only cleanse your body, but also get rid of 5 extra kilos per week.

Cleansing kefir diet

The kefir cleansing diet is quite strict, so it cannot be recommended to people who have any diseases of the digestive tract, kidneys or liver. For the same reason, you should not go on this diet often, or continue it for more than one week.

Food is taken approximately 4 times a day. In between, clean water is drunk (without restrictions) or green tea without sugar.

It is not recommended to make changes to your diet.

  • Day 1: 1 liter of kefir, 4 medium boiled potatoes.
  • Day 2: 0.5 l of kefir, 400 g of a mixture of prunes, dried apricots, figs and dates.
  • Day 3: 1 liter of kefir, 0.5 kg of low-fat cottage cheese.

The days alternate one after another, depending on how long you want to follow this diet.

In the morning you are allowed to drink a cup of freshly brewed coffee without additives or sugar.

In one week of such a diet you can lose up to 5 extra kilograms.

The exit from the diet is gradual: it is recommended to continue drinking kefir or yogurt for another 1-2 weeks.

Acne Cleansing Diet

The condition of the skin is a mirror of the health and purity of the entire body. If the blood is filled with toxic substances, and the intestines do not cope with their task, then unwanted rashes on the face and body - acne - may appear.

The best way to eat for acne is considered to be a proper balanced menu.

The following products are recommended:

  • cereals, bran;
  • white meat, sea fish;
  • fermented milk products;
  • all kinds of fruits and vegetables;
  • drinks include teas with herbs and ginger, lemon, honey, and freshly squeezed juice.

What you shouldn't eat:

  • fast food;
  • semi-finished products;
  • products with preservatives, thickeners, sweeteners, colorants, stabilizers, etc.;

  • marinades, sauces;
  • spices and seasonings;
  • animal fats (lard, cream, butter);
  • sugar, sweets;
  • salt;
  • alcoholic drinks, beer;
  • carbonated drinks.

A sample acne cleansing menu looks like this:

  • In the morning – any porridge with water, yogurt.
  • Snack – fruit and yogurt salad.
  • Lunch – vegetable side dish with a piece of chicken fillet, juice.
  • Afternoon snack – carrot salad, rosehip infusion.
  • For dinner – steamed fish, rice, tea with ginger.

This diet is quite balanced and can be followed for quite a long period of time.

What is an effective cleansing diet?

To make the cleansing more effective, it is recommended to do a cleansing enema before starting the diet. Short-term diets cleanse the body only superficially.
