The routine of a child who has reached 6 months of age changes dramatically. Many new habits, skills, acquisitions and needs appear. So, at 6 months, the child already knows how to respond differently to his own and other people's names. He is attracted to various toys, books, pictures. He looks at them for a long time, shifts in his hands, leafing. He is increasingly interested in the world around him, occurring in it phenomena and events. Increasing need for communication. But at this time can manifest and negative habits. The child can become capricious, hysterical, asking for hands. Here the right educational tactics are important.
The child also crawls well, turns over from stomach to back and vice versa, starts to babble - to pronounce separate sounds. He also learns to eat from a spoon, makes attempts to hold a cup (bottle). It is recommended to buy your child a special bottle with handles that are comfortable to hold.
At 6 months of age, you should teach your baby to crawl and improve this skill. It is not necessary to hurry to teach the child to sit. First, it can contribute to the development of curvature of the spine. Secondly, a child who has learned to sit, becomes indifferent and inactive. Crawling at this age is the main means of transportation. It is good for strengthening the musculature. After the child learns to crawl, he will learn to sit independently. It is not necessary to hurry with this. To do this, you need to hold special classes on crawling: roll a ball with him, wind up the wolf, yula, play hide-and-seek. It is also necessary to teach the child to stand up, lean on his legs with support under the arms. It is useful to take a child who lies on his back and pull up to himself. Also to stimulate sensory and psychomotor development need bright and ringing toys. You can teach the child to stand, holding on to the barrier. It is also necessary to beckon with your hands so that he pulls his hands towards you.
By the age of 6 months, the child understands adult speech. For this purpose, special exercises are carried out. For example. Show the child toys, name them. Then ask to show this or that toy. They also use toys, pounders, cubes, pyramids.
Daily schedule
In the morning the child wakes up, plays, communicates with an adult. Then all the necessary morning hygiene procedures, light massage, morning exercises are carried out. Then follows feeding, independent spending time, games. Need motor activity: dance movements, physical therapy, massage, active-passive movements, reflexology (pressing on biologically active points, their stimulation). If there is a trainer who specializes in working with children of early and infant age, you can conduct special training. They include pumping the abs, working out the joints, tossing, jumping and squatting.
Mindfulness, speech development, games, communication should be included in the daily routine. It is necessary to walk in the fresh air, acquaintance with animals and plants, observation of various phenomena. It is necessary to hold special classes duration of 10-15 minutes: looking at pictures, reading. You can start learning the alphabet: looking at different letters and pictures for each letter. There are many books, primers and alphabets designed specifically for children in the first year of life.
Bait
At the age of 6 months, new complementary foods are introduced - chicken broth, egg yolk, sour cream, semolina. All this is given in small quantities. Breastfeeding is the main at the beginning of the sixth month. Approximately by the middle of this period, the child already begins to switch to natural feeding. In most cases, the child eats breast milk only at night, in the morning and late evening, and during the day either eats in small amounts or completely refuses. By about the end of the 6th month, the child should already be on a mixed diet, in which half of the diet is breast milk, half - regular food. By the end of this period, the child mainly eats breast milk in the evening and at night, and normal food in the morning and afternoon.
Ration menu
Breast milk, fruit and vegetable juices and purees are supplemented with broth, eggs, semolina. Broth can be given 200-300 ml per day, if the child well tolerated. You can also start giving liquid semolina porridge (about 2 tablespoons of porridge per 200 ml of milk). It is better to use clarified milk. It has better taste and sterility.
Chair
The child begins to form a complete microflora, as it should be in adulthood. By the end of the sixth month of life in a child, feces acquires the color, smell and consistency of an adult. It may not yet be fully formed into fecal masses (smeared, sticking together). But in general, it is already becoming close to the state of adult feces. The color may be dark brown. Depends on nutrition. If the child drank more milk, the feces become liquid and yellow again.
Sleep
Even though your baby is active, he or she still needs a lot of sleep. On average, a child needs at least 16 hours of sleep a day. It should sleep in comfortable conditions, on its own bed. If the child refuses to sleep, you need to sprinkle him, rock him, force him. Until a year sleep is very important. Since the child is growing, developing, and these processes are maximally intense in sleep. Also in sleep is processing and analyzing the accumulated experience, impressions. Daytime sleep should be mandatory, as well as night sleep.
