The herb bearberry during pregnancy is one of the plants whose consumption is unacceptable either in pure form or as part of a herbal collection. During pregnancy, many women prefer natural products and folk medicine in order to protect the future child and their own body from the harmful effects of synthetic drugs as much as possible. Objectively, bearberry (or bearberry in other words) is contraindicated for two reasons:
- Medicinal forms based on the leaf of the bear's ear tone the muscles of the uterus, which causes termination of pregnancy even in a completely healthy woman.
- Bear's ear herb during pregnancy leads to increased vomiting, which negatively affects the general condition of the woman.
Also, the herb bear's ear promotes the removal of fluid, but due to concomitant contraindications, its use during pregnancy is inappropriate and it is better to choose an alternative natural diuretic that does not cause such obvious side effects. For example, a decoction of birch buds and leaves, lingonberry leaf - herbs contain no less vitamins, but do not cause allergies. You can also eat more fruits and berries - cucumbers, quince, apples, watermelons.
You should never self-medicate or use medicinal herbs for medicinal purposes, the mechanism of action of which on the body of a pregnant woman is unknown.
