Tips for using face masks

Masks are most common with the care of the skin of the face, carried out at home. There are masks for different types of skin. Many women consider masks to be less effective than creams, and completely in vain. If you make a mask correctly and apply it regularly, then a positive result will not take long.
The purpose of using masks is as follows: they activate the processes of metabolism in the skin, nourish, soften, tone up the skin. There is a mask that removes eye fatigue, tension, returning the skin to youth and healthy color. The composition of masks includes natural ingredients containing vitamins, trace elements, mineral salts. Masks will give an even greater healing effect in the case of their use by courses, that is, 2-3 masks per week. In total within a month it is possible to do 12-15 masks.
The mask is always applied to the cleansed skin. If it is dry, you can first slightly lubricate it with a cream. Women with oily skin need to wash their face or rub it with lotion, then apply a mask. At a more mature age, before applying the mask, you can wipe your face with diluted wine, juices, milk, infusion of herbs or salted water. Also recommended are compresses with decoctions of medicinal herbs (mint, linden, chamomile). These procedures will clear the skin and prepare it for mask application.
A thick mask can be applied to the face, using a special spatula. If there is none or it is inconvenient, it is not forbidden to operate with your fingers. If the mask is liquid, it is applied to the skin with a cotton swab. You can use a piece of gauze, folded in 2-3 layers. In it, you need to cut out the holes for the eyes and nostrils, soak it with the solution, and then put on the face and neck.
The therapeutic composition is applied to the dermal lines from the bottom to the top and hold for 15-30 minutes. After applying the mask, you should not talk and smile. Remove the mask can be a cotton swab, soaked in water or lemon juice, diluted with water. You can just wash it off with warm water.
Do not keep the mask longer than the specified time, especially if the composition, drying up, forms a hard crust on the face. An exception can be called a mask of paraffin with the addition of oil and water, or, in another way, a "black" mask. In other cases, an increase in the duration of the procedure can give the opposite effect: the skin is stretched, there is a feeling of fatigue.
Apply masks according to the season, age and skin condition. There are many masks: they can be nutritious, toning, degreasing, softening, soothing, drying and other.
Remember that lemon juice whitens skin and narrows the pores of the face, salt reduces swelling, honey stimulates and refreshes the skin. Apples also give the skin a fresh look and rejuvenate it. Sour cabbage is very useful for acne and oily skin.
Yeasts treat acne, give elasticity. Olive oil - an indispensable component of many cosmetic compounds, it smooths out premature wrinkles.
