A badyagi face mask is usually used for stubborn spots, and is also used as a scrub to eliminate acne, pimples, and oily shine.
Most likely, many have heard of such an unusual remedy that helps to cope with stagnant spots (bruises, contusions), like badyaga.
Badiaga is the name given to colonies of coelenterate sponges that have been dried under special conditions.
This product is mainly recommended for use to exfoliate the upper layers of the skin, polish the skin at home, smooth out fine wrinkles, remove scars on the skin, eliminate acne, etc.
Badiaga powder, if you take it in your hands, immediately begins to tingle the skin, thereby causing a slight irritation, which helps to increase blood supply in the upper layers of the skin. Badiaga also has a good resorption effect. At first, the skin becomes reddish, in some cases a burning sensation is felt at the site of application. After the mask with badiaga is washed off, the skin can remain red for a long time, slightly inflamed, and begins to tingle with each touch. This effect after using such a product as badiaga is quite normal and should not cause concern.
After using badyagi, the skin's respiration is activated, the subcutaneous capillaries are expanded, and subsequently the pores are cleaned, allowing more oxygen to pass through. The small needles of badyagi, after penetrating the skin, begin to actively cleanse it, help narrow the pores, thereby eliminating oily shine and acne.
Homemade homemade masks from badyagi are highly effective. Such products can be used by women with dry, problematic, oily skin, with enlarged pores or various inflammations on the face. Badyagi removes inflammation well in acne, makes freckles and pigment spots less noticeable, increases blood flow, and has a pronounced antimicrobial effect.
Benefits of badyagi for skin
Nowadays, badiaga is sold not only in powder form (as it was several years ago), but also as part of various creams, gels, ointments, etc., which are completely ready for use. Pure badiaga powder is usually mixed with any vegetable oil before use.
Badiaga contains a large amount of silica - small needle-shaped particles that, when in contact with the skin, begin to penetrate under the upper layer, thereby causing itching and burning of the skin. The use of badiaga leads to the expansion of blood vessels, improved blood flow and oxygen supply to cells. Badiaga also has an analgesic effect.
After using badyagi, the body begins to produce active substances that promote the healing of cuts, bruises, wounds, etc. Traditional medicine has been using this remedy for several centuries, and even serious hematomas are resolved with the help of badyagi without any complications in a fairly short time.
If you apply a thin layer of badyaga to your skin, you will feel a slight warmth; if you rub the product more intensively, you may feel a burning sensation or even tingling. Badyaga not only improves cell regeneration, it also helps the body's defenses. Rubbing with badyaga is especially useful for radiculitis, arthritis, and rheumatism, since it can relieve even severe pain.
In cosmetology, the product has gained great popularity due to its chemical composition and beneficial properties. A badiaga face mask is well suited for problem skin, for example, to get rid of acne, with very oily skin, with enlarged pores. After a cosmetic procedure with badiaga, the pores are noticeably narrowed, the activity of the sebaceous glands decreases, inflammations disappear, the skin is smoothed out, becomes soft and gentle.
Women have long used badyaga to maintain the beauty and youth of their skin. However, like any other means, badyaga has its contraindications. The product cannot be used on skin that has recently developed irritation or inflammation, cuts, pustules, and is also contraindicated for highly sensitive skin, thin and excessively dry skin, blood vessels located close to the surface, or hypertrichosis.
After washing off the mask, some irritation and redness may appear on the skin. Also, procedures with badyaga may cause tingling on the skin. All these manifestations are considered normal, since this is how the individual characteristics of the cosmetic product are expressed. Therefore, it is recommended not to make masks with badyaga immediately before going outside or before an important event.
Recipes for face masks from badyagi
A badyagi face mask is quite an effective remedy that helps get rid of blackheads, acne and increased oiliness of the skin. In addition, the mask helps prevent the occurrence of all these problems in the future.
The classic version of the mask includes badyagi powder with a solution of boric acid. Carefully pour a 5% acid solution into 1 tbsp. spoon of powder, stirring constantly. The mask should have a creamy consistency. The resulting mixture must be heated in a water bath until slightly hot and applied to the face with a cotton swab, avoiding the area around the eyes and the wings of the nose. After the mask dries on the face (if a strong burning sensation appears, you need to immediately wash off the mask), it must be washed off with cool water, you can not use creams after this, you can powder your face with talc. You can not go outside for several hours after the procedure, otherwise the irritation may intensify.
A mask with badyaga and hydrogen peroxide exfoliates dead cells well and eliminates pigment spots. Badyaga powder should be diluted with hydrogen peroxide to a creamy state and applied to the face in a thin layer, left for 5-7 minutes, then rinse the face well with water (the skin may turn red). Before applying the mask, the face should be cleaned, you can wipe it with a toner. This mask is well suited for combination or oily skin.
For normal skin, use a mask with badyaga, cucumber and a few spoons of vegetable oil, you can also add a couple of drops of chamomile extract. All components of the mask should be thoroughly mixed and applied with gentle movements to the face, lightly massaging, then allowed to dry for 5-10 minutes and removed with a cotton pad. The mask improves cell respiration and metabolic processes in the skin, saturates with vitamins.
For acne-prone skin, a hot badyagi mask will help remove pustules and signs of inflammation. To prepare the mixture, dilute the powder with boiling water and heat it over a fire for a few minutes. Then cool the mixture a little (until it is pleasantly hot) and apply it to the face, put compress paper (parchment) on top of the mask and cover everything with a towel. Keep the mixture for 20 minutes (if a strong tingling or burning sensation appears, it is recommended to wash off the mask immediately), then rinse well with water, you can powder your face with talc.
A rejuvenating effect is achieved by a mask with badyagi powder and two tablespoons of fermented baked milk; the prepared mixture is applied for 10 minutes, then the face is rinsed well with warm water.
A good cosmetic effect is provided by peeling with badyagi powder. To do this, dilute the powder with hydrogen peroxide until it becomes thick, let it sit for a while until foam forms and the color becomes lighter.
Then, using a cotton pad soaked in the solution, gently but vigorously rub your face, leave the mixture for a few minutes until it dries completely, and rinse your face well with warm water. After peeling, powder your face with talc.
As mentioned above, badyaga should be used with caution. When applying the mask, in order not to provoke irritation of the mucous membranes, you should avoid the area around the eyes, nose (you can cover it with a gauze bandage or napkin).
Redness of the face after the mask can last from 2 to 24 hours, it all depends on sensitivity.
Masks are used no more than twice a week, in a course of 5-10 sessions. It is not recommended to use such masks for very dry, thin facial skin.
Reviews of Badiaga Face Mask
Women who have used the masks note a good cosmetic effect. The face becomes smoother, acne and rashes and traces of them disappear. Most women, the first time using cosmetic powder in masks (especially a badyagi mask for the face with hydrogen peroxide) keep the mask on the face a little too long, which leads to severe redness, irritation and peeling of the skin due to a sharp rush of blood. Badyagi acts quite aggressively on the delicate skin of the face, and it is recommended to keep it for no more than 5-7 minutes. If all the rules are followed, a badyagi mask is quite an effective remedy that helps to cope with many skin problems on the face.
Badiaga face masks are now widely used in cosmetology, as their effectiveness has been tested by time. They are used for aging skin, for skin polishing, getting rid of acne, as well as various scars, spots and dots on the face. In cosmetology, badiaga is valued for its good rejuvenating properties, as it slows down the aging process after exposure to ultraviolet radiation.
