Preparations for the treatment of demodicosis are varied. For external use, acaricidal preparations are used that cause the death of ticks: benzyl benzoate, permethrin ointment, Amitrazin, Amitrazin plus, Spregal, yellow mercury ointment, avermectin ointment, zinc and ichthyol ointment. Sulfur preparations: sulfur ointment, Demoten gel.
Medicines for the treatment of the disease containing metronidazole: ointment Rozamet, Rozeks, Metrogil gel, gel Glycodem. Among them, Glycodem is more active, since it contains 5-7% metronidazole.
Keratolytics and seboregulators: azelaic acid and preparations based on it (Skinoren gel, Azelik gel). Inclusion of acid gels in the scheme helps deep penetration of other drugs for this pathology into the skin and helps cleanse the ducts of the sebaceous glands.
If a secondary infection occurs (purulent rash, severe redness of the skin), external antibiotics are prescribed in the form of gels - Duac, Dalacin T, Fusiderm.
Effective elimination of the disease involves the administration of a combination of drugs from different groups: acaricides, sulfur preparations, metronidazole, keratolytics with sebum regulators. For example, permethrin ointment, sulfur ointment, metrogyl gel and Skinoren.
Dermatologists believe that the demodectic mite has become resistant to many drugs, such as permethrin ointment. This leads to the fact that new drugs for the disease are being sought and even borrowed in veterinary medicine, such as Amitrazin, YaM ointment, avermectin ointment, Ivermek and Amidel gels.
Ointments for the treatment of demodicosis
Ointment for the treatment of demodicosis is used to combat the microscopic mite demodex, which parasitizes the human skin and affects the hair follicles of the eyelid and head.
Many people suffer from the disease, for many skin lesions become a real tragedy. Constant itching and peeling, the appearance of pustules, acne and rashes are the causes not only of a bad mood, but also of nervous disorder and severe stress.
Elimination of the disease with ointments and other medications is quite labor-intensive and time-consuming. The clutch laid by the female demodex mite undergoes a development cycle of 25 days, so the minimum course of ointment use is from 30 days to one year. The duration and effectiveness of treatment depend on the severity of the disease and the overall clinical picture.
The disease may be caused by diseases of the endocrine and immune systems. Therefore, the drugs used to combat skin mites should be complex, both for internal and external use.
The effectiveness of the ointment depends on the clinical form of the disease, i.e. on the prevalence of certain symptoms. A medicine that helps with one form will be ineffective with another form. The choice of ointment should be made under the supervision of a dermatologist.
Permethrin ointment
Permethrin ointment for demodicosis is used according to a special scheme. Thus, a small amount of it is applied in a thin layer to the affected areas of the skin and thoroughly rubbed into the skin with massaging movements. After 24 hours from the procedure, everything must be washed off with water and soap.
The procedure is carried out once, but if the itching does not stop or new elements of demodectic lesions appear (a sign of insufficient effectiveness), the treatment should be repeated after 14 days (not earlier). For children over 3 years old, the exposure time is 12 hours. The interval between repeated exposures is 1-2 days. The ointment can be re-applied up to 5 times. If the itching does not disappear within 4 weeks after scabies treatment, the patient should consult a doctor.
Side effects in the form of irritation are also possible. This may be a burning sensation, tingling or pinching, increased itching, swelling, numbness of the skin, erythema), allergic reactions (skin rash, swelling). In these cases, it is advisable to stop taking the ointment. There are also contraindications in the form of sensitivity to the active substance or any auxiliary substance. Pregnancy, childhood and breastfeeding are prohibited. This treatment for demodicosis is not suitable.
Benzyl benzoate
Benzyl benzoate is used for demodicosis as a treatment for pediculosis (against lice) and scabies, lichen. Specialists also use it to treat facial demodicosis; the action of the medicine is based on its acaricidal properties.
The drug is absorbed by lice and ticks, and destroys them from the inside by affecting the nervous system of the parasites. Formula, composition: medical benzyl benzoate (10% or 20-25%). Available without a prescription, has a specific smell. How to apply and how to use benzyl benzoate, read on. Ointment or cream 20 percent is applied in a thin layer to the affected areas, three hours before bedtime after thoroughly cleansing the skin. The course of treatment with benzyl benzoate is 7-10 days, it can be repeated once a month until complete recovery.
Method of application of emulsion/solution of benzyl benzoate: apply at night after washing to the affected areas. The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks.
The presence of other medical conditions may influence the use of benzyl benzoate. It is necessary to inform the doctor about the development of other diseases, especially those associated with skin inflammation, since benzyl benzoate may worsen the condition.
Apit
Apit ointment for demodicosis is a veterinary ointment that includes creolin, sulfur, propolis, and auxiliary form-forming components. Available in 40 g plastic jars with lids.
The product promotes hair growth and improves the general condition of the body. The active components included in the ointment have an acaricidal effect, help reduce inflammatory processes in the skin and activate the regeneration of tissue cells.
The ointment is applied in a thin layer to the affected areas and border areas of healthy skin. The treatment is repeated at intervals of 2-3 days until the clinical signs of the disease disappear. There are also side effects. This remedy is usually prescribed by the attending physician. Treatment of demodicosis should be comprehensive.
Yam
Before use, the ointment for demodicosis should be thoroughly mixed, since during long-term storage, the components included in it may delaminate. The ointment is applied in a thin layer to the affected area of the skin and 2-4 cm around it without preliminary removal of crusts and cutting of hair; at the same time, it is lightly rubbed into the surface being treated.
The affected areas are treated 1-2 times a day until the crusts separate. If the crusts have not separated after 4-5 days, the rubbing of the ointment is continued. Usually, after 7-10 days, the affected areas are freed from crusts, and hair growth is observed on them. 10 days after the treatment, control microscopic examinations of scrapings from the affected areas of the skin are carried out. If pathogens are detected, the treatment is repeated.
No side effects were found when used correctly. The drug should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to individual components of the product.
Advantan
Advantan for demodicosis has a local anti-inflammatory effect, reduces the manifestations of allergies, inhibits the hyperproliferation of skin cells, thus, the drug eliminates both objective symptoms of allergies (redness, rashes, thickening of the epidermis, swelling) and subjective ones (itching, burning).
The choice of dosage form of Advantan depends on the skin condition. If the skin is very dry, the fatty ointment Advantan is the best choice. If the skin is neither oily nor dry, it is better to choose the ointment Advantan (with a balanced ratio of water and fat). If the skin is oozing, the cream Advantan (with a small fat content, water-based) is the best choice. For the treatment of sunburn, the emulsion Advantan is the best choice. Any dosage form of Advantan is intended for application once a day. The course of treatment is 12 weeks for adults and 4 weeks for children.
Side effects are not excluded; most often, itching, redness of the skin, burning and the appearance of vesicles at the site of application of the drug are observed. Less common side effects include skin atrophy, stretch marks, and acne. Very rarely, folliculitis, excessive hair growth, and perioral dermatitis may occur.

Vitamins for demodicosis
Vitamins are widely used for demodicosis. Vitamins of group A are contained in products of animal origin. They dissolve well in fat and do not dissolve in water, are resistant to heating, but are not resistant to oxygen. Products of plant origin, colored orange-red or green, contain provitamins A, which, in combination with fats, turn into vitamin A, which affects the development of young organisms, the growth processes and the formation of the skeleton. Deficiency of this vitamin causes pale and dry skin, peeling, acne, dry and dull hair. The main sources of vitamin A are cod liver (fish oil), beef liver, pork, butter, as well as carrots, spinach, green onions, lettuce and tomatoes.
- Vitamins of group D are present in fish products – in cod liver, in herring, etc. Under normal conditions, a person does not need vitamin D preparations, but its deficiency can cause rickets, general weakness and bone deformation in children. One of the sources of this vitamin is ultraviolet rays.
- Vitamins of group E participate in protein metabolism, have a normalizing effect on the work of the muscular system. In addition, vitamin E affects the function of reproduction. It is contained in vegetable oils: cottonseed, corn, sunflower, milk margarine, peas, chicken eggs.
- Vitamins of group K participate in blood clotting processes. Deficiency of this vitamin in the body manifests itself in liver diseases. Vitamin K is found in cabbage, carrots, potatoes, green peas, spinach, tomatoes, veal, lamb and pork liver.
- B vitamins are represented by vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6, B12, Bc, PP, H. Vitamin B1 (thiamine) is involved in carbohydrate metabolism in the body and in a number of processes related to metabolism. Its deficiency occurs with prolonged consumption of grain products, as well as with an overload of the diet with confectionery products and manifests itself in rapid fatigue, muscle weakness, loss of appetite. This vitamin is found in buckwheat, millet, rice, peas, milk, beef and potatoes.
- Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) is involved in growth processes and protein metabolism, promotes the breakdown of carbohydrates, improves visual acuity, especially color perception.
- Vitamin B 3 (pantothenic acid) normalizes the nervous system. Its deficiency in the body leads to dermatitis and thyroid dysfunction.
- Vitamin B 6 (pyridoxine) is involved in metabolism and plays a major role in the process of hematopoiesis. Deficiency of this vitamin in the body manifests itself (especially in old age) in loss of appetite, anxiety, poor sleep. Yeast and liver, mackerel, cod, potatoes, peas and cabbage are high in this vitamin.
- Vitamin B 12 (cyanocobalamin) is a substance with high biological activity. It is found in beef and pork liver, kidneys, and cod.
- Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is an essential water-soluble vitamin associated with oxidation-reduction processes that continuously occur in the body. When this vitamin is deficient, protein utilization decreases. In addition, vitamin C plays an important role in maintaining the normal condition of the walls of blood vessels.
Antiprotozoal drugs for demodicosis
Rozamet
Rozamet for demodicosis - antiprotozoal agent. It is believed that the mechanism of action is associated with the disruption of the DNA structure of sensitive microorganisms
It is used according to a special scheme. Orally for adults and children over 12 years old - 7.5 mg / kg every 6 hours or 250-750 mg 3-4 times a day. Children under 12 years old - 5-16.7 mg / kg 3 times a day. When administered intravenously to adults and children over 12 years old, the initial dose is 15 mg / kg, then 7.5 mg / kg every 6 hours or, depending on the etiology of the disease, 500-750 mg every 8 hours. The duration of treatment courses and their frequency are determined individually. Intravaginal - 500 mg 1 time at night.
In combination with amoxicillin (2.25 g/day), the daily dose of metronidazole is 1.5 g; the frequency of administration is 3 times/day. For patients with severe renal impairment (CC less than 30 ml/min) and/or hepatic impairment, the daily dose of metronidazole is 1 g (amoxicillin - 1.5 g/day); the frequency of administration is 2 times/day. Externally and locally applied 2 times/day, the dose is determined individually. Maximum daily doses: for adults when taken orally and intravenously - 4 g/day.
Side effects are also possible. From the digestive system: nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, metallic taste in the mouth. From the central nervous system and peripheral nervous system: headache, increased excitability, irritability, insomnia, dizziness, ataxia, weakness, confusion, depression, peripheral neuropathy, convulsions, hallucinations. Allergic reactions: skin rash, itching, urticaria. From the hematopoietic system: leukopenia. Local reactions: irritation.
Others: arthralgia, burning sensation in the urethra. This treatment for demodicosis should be used with extreme caution.
Trichopolum
Trichopolum is used for effective treatment of demodicosis. The course should last at least 1.5 months. This is due to the tick development cycle - after 20-30 days, tick larvae turn into adults, which are affected by acaricides. In advanced cases of the disease, treatment may last more than 1.5 months.
Sometimes only external treatment helps to get rid of the tick, but this is not so often. Treatment with Trichopolum (taking tablets orally) is traditional and is prescribed to all patients.
However, the question of using the drug remains controversial. According to some, this treatment of demodicosis is not justified, since the mite has developed resistance to the drug, and it has become ineffective.
Anabasis
Anabasis for demodicosis has recently gained particular popularity. The shoots of the plant anabasis aphyllum contain alkaloids, as is known, these are toxic substances. 60% of all alkaloids are anabasine, which has an antifungal and antiparasitic effect. The alkaloid penetrates deep into the skin and hair follicle.
Anabasis is applied externally as a vodka tincture or decoction. Affected areas of the skin are wiped with vodka tincture several times a day, and the decoction is used for face compresses.
Does the plant anabasis help with the disease? Judging by the reviews - yes. Many write that this is a reliable remedy for demodicosis and did not even expect such a quick effect. Improvement is observed after 2 days of use. And complete recovery is noted after 2-3 weeks

Treatment of demodicosis with antibiotics
Treatment of demodicosis with antibiotics is performed quite often. Doxycycline and Metronidazole are mainly used.
Doxycycline is a semi-synthetic broad-spectrum tetracycline antibiotic. It is capable of providing a bacteriostatic effect. It is used only after meals. In this case, the medicine should be washed down with a sufficient amount of liquid. The drug can cause side effects in the form of nausea, vomiting, and other gastrointestinal disorders. Use during pregnancy is excluded.
Metronidazole is an antibiotic, it fights bacteria in the body. The drug is used for demodex as part of a course of complex treatment. The drug should be taken according to a certain scheme. It is necessary to use 1-2 tablets per day. The duration of treatment is prescribed by the attending physician. Side effects are not excluded. Usually they manifest themselves from the gastrointestinal tract in the form of nausea and vomiting. Allergic reactions are not excluded.
Doxycycline
Doxycycline for demodicosis is a semi-synthetic broad-spectrum tetracycline antibiotic. It has a bacteriostatic effect. It is active against gram-positive microorganisms. Semi-synthetic broad-spectrum tetracycline antibiotic. It has a bacteriostatic effect. It is active against gram-positive microorganisms.
It is used after meals. The patient should drink the medicine with a sufficient amount of liquid to reduce the possibility of irritation of the esophagus. The daily dose should be taken at once or divided into 2 doses, every 12 hours: For most infections, a dose of 200 mg of the drug is recommended on the 1st day of treatment. In the following days - 100-200 mg / day, depending on the severity of the disease. Infections caused by chlamydia, mycoplasma and ureaplasma are effectively treated with a standard dose of doxycycline for 10-14 days.
Side effects are possible. Possible: nausea, vomiting, anorexia, abdominal pain, diarrhea, allergic reactions in the form of edema, itching, skin rash. With prolonged use of the drug, the following is possible: neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, hemolytic anemia, transient increase in the level of transaminases in the blood plasma, development of candidiasis, intestinal dysbacteriosis, reinfection with resistant strains, persistent discoloration of tooth enamel. Treatment of demodicosis is complex.

Zinerit
Zinerit for demodicosis this substance has an antibacterial effect on a wide range of types of bacteria that cause infections. For acne, erythromycin is best used as the first antibiotic for acne treatment. It was discovered in the early 1960s, and many strains of acne bacteria are now resistant to it. But erythromycin is still very inexpensive and effective in treating most cases of acne. However, on its own, it is not as effective as in combination with zinc.
The main principle of Zinerit treatment is daily application of the lotion over a 90-day period. As prescribed by a doctor, a combination of Zinerit cream and erythromycin tablets may be used. Zinerit ointment should not be used longer than necessary, but a course of another antibacterial drug, such as 2% benzoyl peroxide, will not hurt after it.
It is also important to keep in mind that eliminating acne bacteria is only part of the treatment. Antibiotics and zinc are useless against non-inflammatory red spots such as subcutaneous pimples/comedones and blackheads. To achieve complete results, a complete skin care system is needed.
Metronidazole
Metronidazole is an antibiotic, it fights bacteria in the body. The drug is used for demodex as part of a course of complex treatment.
Take metronidazole exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Follow the metronidazole treatment regimen exactly. Do not take more or less of the drug or for longer than recommended.
Missing a dose may increase the risk of spreading an antibiotic-resistant infection. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, there is no point in taking a double dose.
Metronidazole tablets for acne are taken at least 1-2 hours after meals, with plenty of water. While taking metronidazole, visit your doctor regularly and monitor your liver health. Possible symptoms of metronidazole overdose include: nausea, vomiting, dizziness, loss of balance or coordination, numbness and tingling, seizures (convulsions).
Do not drink alcohol while taking metronidazole and for at least 3 days after you stop taking metronidazole. Unpleasant side effects such as a fast heartbeat, warm or flushed skin, tingling sensation, nausea, and vomiting may occur. Check the labels of any medications or foods you use to make sure they do not contain alcohol.
Ornidazole
Ornidazole is used quite often for demodicosis. It is a medical drug, a synthetic antibiotic, the action of which is directed against bacteria and parasites. The drug is used for an internal attack on the demodex mite.
Demodicosis. Treatment regimen for adults: prescription 1-1.5 g as a single dose for 1-2 days. Children: 30-40 mg/kg per day. Side effects: drowsiness, headache, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, tremor, rigidity, impaired coordination, convulsions, fatigue, vertigo, temporary loss of consciousness and signs of sensory mixed peripheral neuropathy, skin reactions.
This is a serious medication that is best used under the supervision of a specialist. After all, there is a risk of aggravating the situation by using the product incorrectly. Treatment of demodicosis should be careful.
Other remedies for demodicosis
Iodine for demodicosis
Iodine is not used in its pure form for demodicosis. It is mainly included in special recipes. So, to use clay, and we know that clay does not exist in liquid form, it is necessary to mix it with water to the consistency of thick sour cream, while it should be taken into account that the mite likes some dirt and therefore boiled or very clean water is necessary. After the necessary mixture of clay and water is obtained, it is necessary to add a little iodine (the healing properties of iodine have been known to all of us since childhood). When the entire mixture is ready, the affected areas of the skin should be smeared and allowed to dry. As in the first case, a one-time use of the above method will not be enough, so the procedure should be repeated until recovery.
The second recipe is to use simple laundry soap. It is even better if it is tar laundry soap. You should grind some soap into shavings (you can grate it), add a little warm water, and mix well. Again, you can add 1 teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide, vinegar, or 3-4 drops of iodine to the resulting foamy soap mass. The mask is applied only to those areas of the skin where symptoms appear and demodicosis treatment is required.
Cream for demodicosis
Demodex cream is one of the key remedies for preventing the burning, stinging, itching and irritation often associated with this condition. It is important to create a strong moisturizing barrier that keeps out pollutants and irritants that can aggravate the condition of sensitive skin.
Absolutely any cream will do, the nose with increased moisture. The means Xinsheng and Kang have special properties. Demodex Complex - the best means against demodicosis, which is known at the moment. They are rapidly gaining popularity all over the world due to the ease of use and fast, visual result of treatment. You can buy Demodex Complex both for professional use and for treatment at home. The means can be used not only for therapy, but also for the prevention of subcutaneous inflammation.

Roaccutane
Roaccutane for demodicosis is a drug based on isotretinoin, which is used in the treatment of rosacea and acne, including those that develop as a result of the disease.
Roaccutane works by suppressing the activity of the skin's sebaceous glands, which reduces the amount of fat produced. Acne treatment with Roaccutane also reduces the size of the sebaceous glands and inflammation, minimizing the risk of relapse and exacerbation.
A detailed consultation on the treatment regimen and dosage of Roaccutane should be carried out by the attending physician, who will write out the appropriate prescription, only in this case the treatment will give the maximum positive effect and improvement results.
It is forbidden to take it without the supervision of a specialist, even in small doses. During and after taking it is necessary to minimize the risk of damage to the skin, otherwise such consequences as scars are possible. The course of treatment for demodicosis is accompanied by the application of sunscreen/ointment (not only in summer) and a strict diet.
Dimexide
Dimexide has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and analgesic effects in demodicosis. It also easily penetrates cell membranes, and this ability can enhance the diffusion of other substances through the skin. For this reason, Dimexide is actively used in combination with acaricidal drugs for subcutaneous mites, ensuring their absorption into the deep layers of the epidermis and a more aggressive effect on the subcutaneous mite.
A thin layer of Dimexide solution is applied to the affected areas of the skin 1-2 times a week. For demodicosis, solutions and masks with Dimexide are used for the face and hair. How to dilute Dimexide for a compress, in what proportions? In the case of demodex and infectious skin diseases, a 30-40% solution is used. It is mixed with the active substance (sulfur, metronidazole, etc.) and applied daily at night. As a rule, a prescription for the use of Dimexide for acne and subcutaneous inflammation is prescribed by the attending physician.
Children are sometimes prescribed cough treatment with this medicine. According to the instructions, a compress with Dimexide is made as follows: mix 1 part Dimexide with 3 parts water. Heat the solution and, after soaking gauze in it, place it on the child's chest, leaving it for 40 minutes.
Popular methods of using Dimexide for hair growth involve preparing a mask in combination with vegetable oils. Recipe for a hair mask with Dimexide at home: burdock and castor oil should be mixed with Dimexide at a ratio of 3:1. The resulting mask is applied a couple of times a week for two to three months.
Baziron
Baziron is used in combination with demodicosis. It is an over-the-counter drug for acne/blackheads, comedones and pimples on the face. Its action is due to the antibacterial effect, the drug does not help with spots.
For blackheads/pimples: the preparation should be applied to clean skin 1-2 times a day for 3 months. The dose can be gradually increased to 3 times a day. People with sensitive skin should apply the gel only once a day before bedtime. At the beginning of treatment, the gel can be washed off after 1-4 hours if there is high sensitivity to the preparation.
During the first few days of using Baziron ointment, a slight burning sensation and redness may occur, and new inflammatory elements (rash, pimples) may appear. This is not dangerous and usually passes quickly. In case of severe skin irritation, it is recommended to use the product less often, temporarily stop treatment or completely cancel it. When stable improvement occurs, you should switch to periodic treatment of demodicosis with an interval of several weeks or months.
Stop demodicosis
Stop demodicosis includes a course of seven drugs. STOPdemodex products act on the cause of the disease - the harmful mite demodex, eliminating its uncontrolled reproduction. They have a strong anti-inflammatory and restorative effect.
Gentle cleansing soap. At the cellular level, it blocks the inflammatory reaction caused by Propionopacterium acnes bacteria, relieves irritation, regulates the sebaceous glands, noticeably reduces pores, and refreshes the complexion.
- Lotion for face and eyelids. Designed for daily hygiene of the face and eyelids in case of subcutaneous mites and acne, as well as for eyelids (in case of blepharitis).
- The therapeutic and prophylactic balm eliminates the cause of the disease - uncontrolled reproduction of the Demodex mite. It has a strong anti-inflammatory and restorative effect, quickly eliminates the symptoms of the disease.
- Eyelid gel eliminates erosion of the eyelid margins in demodectic blepharitis and facial skin rashes, prevents the appearance of new rashes. Provides a soft bacteriostatic, tonic and restorative effect.
- The shampoo fights the subcutaneous mite Demodex, helps eliminate the consequences of the subcutaneous mite (soothes the skin, makes it soft) and suppresses the development of the yeast-like fungus Pityrosporum ovale (aka Malassezia furfur) in the scalp.
- Drops based on plant extracts + MSM - a dietary supplement to the diet for general strengthening of the body, normalization of the immune system, alignment of the acid-base balance of the skin. Helps improve digestion in the complex of prevention of demodicosis and acne.
- Finish control gel “works” to reduce visible defects caused by demodex and acne: atrophic and hypertrophic scars, stagnant spots, hyperpigmentation.
ASD
ASD is not used very often for demodicosis. This drug is a liquid with antiseptic, stimulating, and wound-healing properties.
The ASD preparation is a product of thermal decomposition (during high-temperature dry sublimation) of raw materials of animal origin (meat and bone meal, meat and bone waste). During sublimation, organic substances – proteins, fats, carbohydrates, nucleic acids – are gradually broken down into low-molecular components.
ASD does have a pronounced antibacterial effect, but something else is much more important: it is a powerful adaptogen. It easily passes through tissue and placental barriers, because it corresponds to the structure of a living cell and is not rejected by it, has no side effects, does not have a negative effect on the fetus in the mother's womb, restores the coordinating role of the peripheral nervous system and normal hormonal levels. ASD is also called a biogenic stimulant, a tissue preparation. The drug not only easily enters into all metabolic processes of the body, but is also an immunomodulator (sometimes ASD is called a modulator of the body's immune system).
ASD restores the correct ratio of cells involved in the regulation of various processes in the body. And, thus, ensures the correct functioning of all organs and systems. That is why Dorogov always emphasized that the drug he invented does not act on a specific microbe. It affects the human body, which itself destroys this microbe, having received the necessary strength and material for this.
The antiseptic stimulator has a wide range of therapeutic and prophylactic effects and is used for a large number of diseases with different etiologies: asthma, infertility, hormone-dependent tumors, psoriasis, eczema. When using ASD, the lungs increase oxygen assimilation. There is no addiction to the drug. This treatment of demodicosis does not apply to traditional medicine.
Xinsheng demodex complex
Xinsheng demodex complex has an incredible effect on demodicosis. The cream is like a catalyst for it. This initial treatment process will remind many of familiar treatment methods, for example, "benzyl benzoate". But unlike them, the products of the "Demodex Complex" series not only effectively kill the mite, but then with the "Kang" cream (of the "Demodex Complex" series) restore the skin, change the chemical composition of sebum, normalize the pores, reduce the risk of re-infection, and also give the skin a well-groomed appearance, comparable to the effect of visiting elite beauty salons.
No harm is done to the body. These wonderful transformations of the face return people their lost peace of mind, joy of life, self-confidence and qualitatively change the attitude of others. The Demodex Complex series of products gives healthy, beautiful skin! That is why the popularity of the Demodex Complex series is growing at such a rapid pace!
The course of treatment is very individual and depends on many factors: the duration of the disease, previously used medications, cosmetics used, skin type, weakened immunity, concomitant diseases, climate zone of residence, etc.
Skinoren
Skinoren has a keratolytic, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory effect on demodicosis. Azelaic acid normalizes the disrupted keratinization processes in the follicles of the sebaceous glands and reduces the content of free fatty acids in skin lipids.
Apply to the affected areas of the skin and rub in gently 2 times a day (morning and evening). Approximately 2.5 cm of cream is enough for the entire surface of the face. It is important that Skinoren is used regularly throughout the entire treatment period. The duration of treatment depends on the individual presentation of the disease and the severity of symptoms. In acne, improvement is usually observed after 4 weeks of treatment. However, to achieve better results, it is recommended to continue using the drug for several months.
For melasma, the minimum course of treatment is approximately 3 months. For best results, Skinoren should be used regularly. During the treatment of melasma, sunscreens (UV B and UV A) should be used to prevent exacerbation of the disease and/or re-pigmentation of lightened areas of the skin under the influence of the sun. Therapeutic treatment of demodicosis with this remedy is necessary.
Streptocide
Reviews of streptocide for demodicosis are extremely positive. The product is used in the form of powder or crushed tablets (2-3 at a time). They are mixed with a few drops of water and rubbed into the infected areas of the skin.
This procedure of using soluble Streptocide from demodex for the face is repeated at least five times with a frequency of 2-3 days. Streptocide ointment can be used for the same purposes. To treat acne with subcutaneous mites, you can use a chatterbox according to the recipe: Streptocide + Levomycetin + Salicylic acid, as well as face masks from Streptocide with Calendula, ointments with Streptocide.
This is probably the easiest and most effective way to get rid of the problem. It is enough to simply purchase the drug and start treatment. The drug's competence has been proven more than once.
Drops for demodicosis
Drops for demodicosis can be purchased at a pharmacy. The most popular and effective are: Colbiocin and Prenacid.
- Colbiocin. Combined antibacterial drug. Eye drops are used conjunctivally, 1-2 drops 3-4 times a day or as prescribed by the attending physician. There are certain conditions for using the bottle. Following the existing notches on the aluminum capsule of the bottle, tear off the upper circle of the capsule, and then the side. Remove the cap from the bottle and attach the reservoir to it. Press the red cap of the reservoir into the bottle, and then shake the bottle vigorously to dissolve the powder inside.
Remove the reservoir completely and attach the dropper (pipette) to the bottle. Remove the cap from the dropper (pipette) and, turning the bottle upside down, squeeze out a drop. Side effects in the form of allergic reactions are not excluded.
- Prenacid. The main active ingredient of the drug, desonide, is a non-halogenated corticosteroid for local use, capable of exerting an anti-inflammatory effect, reducing vascular permeability, chemotaxis, promoting lysosome stabilization, and exerting a vasoconstrictive effect in inflammatory processes of the eyes of various etiologies. When treating with Prenacid, daily instillation into the conjunctival sac is prescribed at a rate of two drops up to four times a day. The course of treatment is discussed with the attending physician.

Gel for demodicosis
Gel for demodicosis has become widespread. Thus, according to experts, about 90% of the population suffers from the disease. But not many people realize that it is present in their own body.
The disease is difficult to diagnose and is often difficult to distinguish from acne, rosacea and other similar skin diseases. The cause of the disease is Demodex mites, which live in the sebaceous glands and hair follicles, in the eyelids, the area of the superciliary arches, forehead, chin and nasolabial folds. The disease can only be determined by making a special scraping from the affected skin.
Dermatological gel for facial skin care with anti-demodectic activity. It is used as a means of preventing inflammatory diseases and with pronounced symptoms of inflammation. "Demoten" affects both the pathogens of the disease - demodex mites, and damaged skin tired of the disease. The gel reduces the population of the mite, cleanses the skin of their waste products, normalizes sebum secretion and thereby deprives the mite of a nutrient medium. At the same time, it moisturizes the skin, relieves inflammation, promotes rapid healing of wounds, improves the color and turgor of the skin. Treatment of demodicosis involves the use of Blefarogel 2 and Metrogyl.
Blefarogel 2
Blefarogel 2 has been used for a long time for demodicosis. The product is based on hyaluronic acid, which improves the structure of the skin, has moisturizing properties and thus regulates the moisture content in the skin of the eyelids, cleanses and moisturizes it, increases elasticity (turgor) and makes the skin soft and smooth. Hyaluronic acid is widely represented in the organs and tissues of humans and animals and performs various functions, including regulating the moisture level in the tissues. Hydrated hyaluronic acid occupies the main volume of the eye (about 90%).
Blefarogel makes the skin of the eyelids more attractive and fresh, removes fine wrinkles, removes keratinized scales from the edges of the eyelids. For patients suffering from chronic inflammation of the eyelids, Blefarogel is an indispensable means of daily hygiene. Blepharitis (inflammation of the edges of the eyelids) is the cause of redness and itching of the edges of the eyelids, the appearance of scales on the edge of the eyelid and eyelashes, loss of eyelashes, and dry eyes. Both young and older people suffer from this disease. The basis of blepharitis treatment is careful hygiene of the edges of the eyelids with the help of specially developed Blefarogel.
The product is applied to a cotton swab. The swab with the gel is used to thoroughly clean the surface of the eyelids in the eyelash growth zone. Then Blefarogel is applied to the fingertips and with gentle circular movements of the fingertips, massage the eyelids, including the eyelash edge, for 1-2 minutes. Metrogyl for demodicosis
Metrogyl for demodicosis is a very good medicine. It is based on such a substance as metronidazole. The product is intended for external use only. So, Metrogyl can be used for the face, hands, feet, and other parts of the body. As for internal use - Metrogyl gel is not intended for this at all.
Before external use of the drug, the skin area that requires treatment must be thoroughly cleaned. After this, Metrogyl gel is usually applied in a thin layer to the skin. This is done twice a day, in the morning and in the evening. If necessary, Metrogyl gel for external use can be applied under a bandage. Before using the drug, be sure to thoroughly wash your hands and ensure that the drug does not get into your eyes.
Side effects in the form of allergic reactions are not excluded. However, they are extremely rare. The drug contains components that can cause negative reactions from the body. Therefore, in case of hypersensitivity, treatment of demodicosis with this remedy should be postponed.

Spray for demodicosis
The spray for demodicosis has a similar effect to the cream. It is enough to simply apply the product in a certain sequence to the damaged skin and that's it. At the same time, you need to understand that the treatment is complex. Therefore, one spray will not be enough. It is desirable that it be a spray and medications.
The product has a positive effect on the skin. It eliminates unpleasant sensations. And it visually removes the problem. The skin becomes less red and everything goes away over time. Sprays do not always have a therapeutic effect. If it is a cosmetic product, it is intended to mask the main external symptoms. Moreover, it is used even after the problem has been eliminated.
It allows you to eliminate excess oiliness of the skin and thus protects a person from re-infection. The Spregal remedy has gained particular popularity.
Spregal
Spregal is used for demodicosis to achieve maximum effect during treatment. In order for the remedy to be truly effective, it should be used correctly. Thus, demodicosis treatment is carried out on the entire face. All family members living in the same apartment with the patient should undergo a course of eliminating the problem at the same time.
It is recommended to carry out the procedures in the afternoon, preferably at 6-7 p.m. When applying the medication, it is necessary to be at a safe distance from the fire, in a ventilated room. Before spraying, remove all clothing and stand on a towel. The drug is applied to the surface of the entire body from a distance of 20-30 centimeters, avoiding the face and hair. First, treat the chest, stomach and back, then the arms and legs, without missing a single area of the skin (the treated skin shines). I treat the areas of the skin affected by scabies especially carefully. Generously spray the spaces between the fingers and toes, armpits, joint folds. After the procedure, put on clean clothes. You cannot wash for 12 hours after the end of the procedure. After 12 hours, you need to wash with soap and rinse thoroughly.
It is possible that side effects may occur in the form of allergic reactions. In this case, the use of the drug should be discontinued.
It has been noted that more effective elimination of this pathological condition is observed when using veterinary acaricidal agents. The treatment regimen will look like this: amitrazine (amitrazine plus), metrogyl gel (or Glycodem gel), sulfur ointment, Azelik gel (or Skinoren). Amitrazine contains dimexide, which is a conductor, so this drug has a high penetrating ability - this is important for this disease. Amitrazine plus, in addition to dimexide, contains decamethoxin, which also affects pathogenic microflora of the skin. The drugs that were described above make up the complex treatment of demodicosis.
