The six petal diet consists of six products of different categories. This is not so little, because the list includes almost everything: fish, meat, fruits, vegetables, cereals, dairy products. A detailed menu for each day, portions are also written out, so you do not have to invent something new.

The fish diet, from which the six petal diet begins, includes fatty and dietary types, for variety - seafood, if the person losing weight is partial to them. No special culinary wisdom is required for their preparation. It is only taken into account that the fish cannot be fried or heavily salted.

  • The daily portion of the finished product is 500 grams.

The second day menu consists of various vegetables, fresh or stewed, boiled, baked. They can be combined in all sorts of ways, the main thing is not to fry in oil. Soups and salads are prepared without oil, with a minimum of salt and spices. New in the diet - fresh juices and smoothies, especially from green fruits.

  • Quantity of vegetables – up to 1.5 kg.

The next day is based on chicken consumption, that is, protein again. An excellent menu is obtained if you boil fillet meat in the morning, bake it in foil at lunch, and grill it in the evening. Different tastes create the illusion of variety.

  • The total weight of what is eaten should not exceed half a kilo, plus 200 g of broth in which the breast was cooked.

The fourth day is called the cereal day. This does not mean "pecking grains" like a bird; on this day, you should saturate your body with healthy carbohydrates, which are no less important than proteins. The cereal diet also includes sprouted seeds, special breads, and kvass, preferably homemade, as a drink.

  • For porridge use 200g of dry cereal.

Curd day is hard for those who do not like this product. To improve the taste, it is mixed with yogurt, cinnamon or vanilla is added. On this day, you can drink a cup of milk, at night - kefir.

  • Daily portion of cottage cheese is 500g.

The last day is a paradise for lovers of fruit desserts. On the table there are fresh, baked, defrosted fruits and berries, salads sprinkled with lemon juice. Only very sweet fruits are not recommended - bananas, grapes. Homemade juices, pure and assorted, are added to the usual drinks.

  • In total, 1.5 kg of fruit is eaten during the day.

This concludes the petal "mini-marathon". The drinking regime is the same on all days: clean water, tea, occasionally black coffee.

Vegetable day menu, vegetable dishes

The second day of the six petal diet is carbohydrate-vegetable. Its task is to restore vitamin reserves and carbohydrate balance. The vegetable day diet includes root vegetables, cabbage, squash, greens, tomatoes, cucumbers. Almost the entire set, standard for the diet of each family.

  • Except for potatoes, which do not fit into the vegetable day menu due to their high starch content. Peas and corn are allowed in minimal quantities.

Vegetable dishes are low in calories and have varying digestibility. The abundance of fiber gives a feeling of satiety and has a positive effect on peristalsis. Water quenches thirst. Vitamin components affect metabolism and support immunity. The most useful fresh vegetables are raw, preferably grown using organic technologies or in your own garden. Total amount – 1.5–2 kg.

Thanks to the wide range of products on this day, there is room for the culinary imagination of the person losing weight. In first place are salads, slightly salted, but without oil. In second place are stewed, stuffed, ragout. But, due to the low calorie content, this day is more difficult to bear than the fish day. Probably, 2 kg of plant food is still less satisfying than half a kilo of fatty fish!

Cereal day

The sequence of the six petal diet provides that after the "chicken" day comes the grain day. This is the fourth "petal". Its task is to compensate for microelements and vegetable proteins. The following food is allowed:

  • breadsticks;
  • cereals;
  • nuts and seeds (flax, for example);
  • sprouted grains;
  • bran.

The norm of dry product is 200 g (according to other sources - 300). The cereal is soaked overnight to cook fresh lean porridge in the morning, without milk-butter-sugar. Unsweetened bread kvass is added to the traditional water and teas on the menu.

  • Sprouted seeds are eaten raw. Take organic raw materials (they are sold in supermarkets), sprout them yourself using one of the methods described in the instructions or thematic articles.

Sprouts have enormous beneficial properties. During sprouting, vitamins, antioxidants, enzymes are formed in them, and proteins and carbohydrates take an easily digestible form. They seem to come to life and increase their strength and benefit for the human body many times over.

An excellent vitamin salad is made from buckwheat sprouts, kiwi and pear pieces with the addition of homemade yogurt and honey with bee bread. A small portion of such a dish provides half the daily norm of minerals, vitamins, enzymes and other biologically active components. Such a breakfast is useful not only during the petal diet, but also at any other time.

Fish day, recipes. What to replace fish with?

A good start is half the battle, says the proverb. Fish day is such a start in the six petal diet.

Sea fish is easily digested, supplies the body with useful acids, proteins, and microelements. Shrimp and other seafood are also appropriate in this diet.

  • The amount of fish that a person on a diet should eat is 500g. The daily portion is divided into several parts.

Dietary fish recipes recommend taking fresh or more affordable frozen raw materials, boiling, stewing or baking, but never frying. It is also unacceptable to eat smoked, salted, dried products containing a lot of salt and hot additives. During cooking, add a little salt, herbs, but not hot seasonings.

  • Pollock, salmon, mackerel, herring, pink salmon, blue whiting, trout, hake, tuna, cod, and pike may be present on the table.

Popular seafood: mussels, shrimp, octopus, squid - this is what replaces fish if it is categorically not accepted by those losing weight. Or causes allergies (this also happens).

Dietary meat is considered a good substitute for fish - chicken, rabbit, turkey. To enrich it with iodine and phosphorus, add seaweed to the menu. Do not experiment with a product such as crab sticks. This is not a dietary or protein product at all, and the first day of the diet is protein. After it, there should be carbohydrates. And so on.

Chicken Day, Recipes

Diet chicken day fully corresponds to its name. The diet includes only chicken fillet (or turkey as an exception). And only in extreme cases, with intolerance to these types of poultry, veal or beef are allowed. This will no longer be a chicken day, but the point is not in the name, but in the fact that protein food is used.

  • The norm of cooked meat on the third day of the diet is six petals - 0.5 kg. Raw - almost twice as much.

This portion can supply the body with enough proteins and B vitamins, because the fillet consists almost entirely of proteins. This is important for normal muscle activity. On this day, you should drink plenty of water, but do not abuse coffee and tea, so as not to overload the kidneys.

  • Some people will think that half a kilo of meat is much better than 2 kilos of vegetables, albeit different ones. That it is filling and tasty, and if you also drink the broth in which the fillet was cooked, then you have both a first and second course.

In fact, any mono-diets are repulsive with their monotony. To make the day more fun and varied, experienced people advise not to eat the same boiled dish three times a day, but to use different chicken recipes each time. For example, bake in foil, with seasonings, slightly salted, or grilled, or stewed in a multicooker. With such a menu, the day will seem less boring, and the body will be better prepared for a grain diet.

Fruit day

For dessert, as in any menu, there is a fruit day. It would seem that there is no such thing as too much fruit, everyone loves them, so the sixth day of the six petals diet should please everyone who wants to lose weight, and the body is enriched with vitamins, organic acids, fiber, antioxidant components. And the effectiveness is due to the fact that due to the low calorie content of fruits, metabolism is actively accelerated.

During the day, eat several types of fruit, weighing up to 1.5 kg in total. To do this, prepare a kilogram or one and a half of fresh and dried fruits and berries in advance. Apples, pomegranates, kiwis, citrus fruits, pears, watermelons, and all types of berries that grow in our area are suitable. It is better if these are seasonal products.

  • The abundance of juice in plant foods does not relieve the need for drinking. Herbal infusions, green tea without sugar are the best we can offer our body.

Fruits are not only eaten raw: apples and pears are recommended to be baked in foil or grilled. It is tasty and good for digestion. And if you remove the core and fill it with raisins, you will get a real gourmet dessert.

Green apples can also be grated and pureed. Smoothies, mixed half and half with water, are good for snacks. Fresh compotes are also needed. Cinnamon and vanillin are the best seasonings for fruit dishes and drinks.

Despite the attractiveness of the diet, not everyone finds this day easy. It happens that a breakdown is closer than ever. If willpower prevails, then the next day you can sum up the results and carefully exit the diet.

Curd day

The fifth, cottage cheese day is the last of the protein mono-diets. In addition to amino acids and microelements, fermented milk products supply the body with microorganisms necessary for the well-coordinated work of the digestive organs. The daily norm of low-fat cottage cheese, other fermented milk products in the diet six petals is 500g.

  • Yogurt, tofu, eggs, feta cheeses – all these products are allowed on cottage cheese day. Milk is allowed if the body accepts it.

They diversify the menu and prevent overeating cottage cheese. When adding these products, it is necessary to recalculate and proportionally reduce the volume of homemade cheese.

You can buy cottage cheese or make it yourself. The traditional dish with homemade sour cream, dried fruits, sugar or jam can hardly be called dietary, so we will put it off until better times. Dietary use of cottage cheese involves adding spicy ingredients - herbs, garlic, pepper. If you want dessert, then cottage cheese is mixed with fresh berries: raspberries, blueberries, strawberries.

If you have a yogurt maker, it is very easy to make homemade yogurt, without preservatives, flavorings, sweet additives. Homemade product is much healthier, it is guaranteed to be fresh and high-quality. Special starters are used for preparation, and you can add your favorite berries to the finished yogurt.

Snacks in the 6 Petal Diet

If you can do without it, then snacks in the 6 petal diet are not necessary. However, many losing weight cannot do without snacks and supplements, especially on low-calorie days. For this case, recommendations for various diet days are ready.

So, the cottage cheese day of the six petal diet can be diversified with kefir snacks, up to one and a half servings in total. A glass of milk is also good. On the vegetable day, a little vegetable oil is added to salads, and fresh juice or smoothie is chosen for a snack. The same is prepared from fruits and berries on the last day of the diet. The volume of drinks is up to 400 ml.

  • Other healthy drinks are also considered snacks. In addition to water, green tea is recommended, up to 4 cups a day, and no more than one serving of coffee. All drinks are sugar-free and without flavor additives.

If you divide daily portions into 6-7 parts, then snacks are food prepared according to the recipes of main dishes for breakfast, lunch, dinner. It is only the method of cooking that changes: instead of boiling - stewing or baking, grilling or steaming. Hunger is almost not felt with this regime.

Recipes

Healthy cooking methods are the basis of all weight loss methods, especially the six petal diet. It excludes such favorite cooking methods as frying, smoking, salting, marinating, canning.

  • The recipes for the dishes recommended by the diet do not require any special culinary talents, since cooking in a saucepan or multicooker is quite simple.

On the first day, any fish is served, preferably sea fish. It contains special healthy fats that are absent in freshwater fish. Half a kilogram of the finished product is needed for the whole day. The fish is boiled or baked, with the addition of a small dose of salt and natural spices. Fish soup is also suitable, but without potatoes.

The second day is on vegetables. Salads are prepared from lettuce, in various combinations, with a minimum of oil. Beets, cabbage, peppers, eggplants are stewed. Beets are boiled, grated and seasoned with oil. Garlic and stewed onions can be added. Many people like grilled vegetables.

Chicken Day offers to eat 0.5 kg of ready-made fillet - boiled, baked in foil or grilled. To improve the taste, use salt and natural spices.

The next day's cereal menu is more varied than the previous one. Various cereals, bran, bread, nuts should enrich the body with complex carbohydrates.

  • To “brew porridge” for the whole day, take 200 g of dry cereals, wash and soak them, cook until done, depending on the type of cereal.

The cottage cheese diet is varied, but monotonous. Milk, cottage cheese, kefir-yogurt and even eggs - it is better if they are homemade or guaranteed quality products. The daily portion of cottage cheese is 500g.

The fruit diet is as varied as possible: everything that is not prohibited is allowed (grapes, bananas, persimmons, dates are considered too sweet for dietary use). All kinds of berries are appropriate, their share is about a fifth of the total fruit weight of 1.5 kg. The recipes are also simple: salads, desserts, fresh juices, smoothies, purees without sweeteners, cream or sour cream.

Vinaigrette

On the vegetable day of the six petal diet, in addition to salads, stewed, boiled, baked dishes are prepared. Because fresh salads do not really fill you up and it becomes difficult to survive the day, especially if you have to work. Vegetable vinaigrette is a relatively filling dish. It contains a maximum of useful ingredients, each of which is rich in a variety of substances necessary for the full functioning of the body.

  • There is even a separate vinaigrette diet.

Vegetables contain slow carbohydrates, which require energy expenditure for digestion. Energy is taken from one's own reserves - problem areas where fatty tissues are concentrated. Using one's own energy, the body loses weight. And the abundance of fiber stimulates peristalsis of the gastrointestinal tract.

Vinaigrette is prepared as follows. Boiled (but not overcooked) carrots, potatoes, beets are cut into cubes. Boiled (or canned) beans, ready sauerkraut are added, sour cucumbers and onions are cut. Mix everything together, lightly drizzle with sunflower oil for better absorption of nutrients (lightly because remember: vinaigrette is dietary!).

It tastes better if the vegetables are cut finely. Those who like a colored dish can add beets to the other products right away. If you like a vinaigrette in which all the ingredients retain their natural color, then the beets are poured with oil separately and mixed at the last moment. Then the red vegetable will not immediately give its color to its "colleagues".
