Vitamins are the saviors of humanity from the excess of carbohydrate and fatty foods. This is the conclusion made by scientists from the American state of Buffalo. More information about vitamins and their properties is on our portal.

If you take vitamins on time...

Then we can gradually get rid of the negative that we get from harmful substances, namely fats and carbohydrates. They are most harmful to the cardiovascular and respiratory systems, disrupting their work.

To keep your cardiovascular system in tip-top shape, scientists say, it's important to take 400 units of vitamin E and 0.5 grams of vitamin C (ascorbic acid) before eating something fatty.

Are vitamins from non-natural products harmful?

It is often said that vitamins taken not from food but from a pharmacy do more harm than good to a person, since they are perceived by the body as foreign. Is this really so?

No. The vitamins we bought at the pharmacy contain components that are compatible with each other. After all, not all vitamins are compatible with each other. Many of them cancel out or inhibit each other's action. And pharmacy vitamins are made according to strictly calculated recipes by pharmacists, so their compatibility is taken into account.

You just need to calculate the doses correctly so as not to cause harm with an overdose. Your treating dietitian-gastroenterologist can help you do this.

Unnatural vitamins are actually produced from natural products, but with additives. For example, vitamins of group B – B12 and B2 are produced by the synthesis of microorganisms. Vitamin C (ascorbic acid, so beloved by many) is obtained from natural sugar with the addition of acid. Vitamin P is obtained from the fruits of black rowan, as well as the peel of lemons and oranges, or from Sophora officinalis.

Such vitamins are useful for humans in the right quantities and ratios.

How are unnatural vitamins produced?

How are unnatural vitamins produced?

When the process of vitamin production is underway, highly qualified workers monitor it. The laboratory is kept clean, and the employees follow production technologies. This is fundamentally different from the situation when you pick an unwashed apple from a branch or grab a not-so-clean plum to eat it immediately.

In laboratory vitamins, moreover, the amount of a particular substance is strictly calculated. Compare this with the fact that during storage and processing of products that we consume in order to saturate the body with vitamins, the latter are destroyed the more the longer they are stored. This never happens with pharmaceutical preparations.

Features of artificial vitamins

For example, in the human body, an excess of vitamin PP can cause allergic reactions due to the fact that in nature this vitamin is presented as nicotinic acid.

The same vitamin PP (its complex) in the pharmacy version is presented as nicotinamide, that is, a substance that has a much softer effect on the body than nicotinic acid, and does not have destructive consequences for internal organs. The fact is that people react to nicotinic acid with allergies 100 times more often than to nicotinamide.

Another example is about the famous and inimitable vitamin C, which people need so much. Ascorbic acid (i.e. vitamin C) in natural sources, such as lemon or apple, can be harmful to people with increased acidity of gastric juice. Allergic reactions to citrus fruits with vitamin C in their composition are very common. At the same time, ascorbic acid, which is produced for vitamins, is much softer and less acidic compared to the natural source.

Therefore, consult a nutritionist to develop your own vitamin menu and be healthy!
