Ultrasonic peeling - non-abrasive surface exfoliation of the epidermis (removal of dead cells, "black" comedones, secretion of sebaceous glands, make-up remnants, etc.)

The mechanism of action of ultrasonic peeling

Due to the mechanical action of the ultrasonic wave, we obtain the effect of loosening and exfoliating the keratinized cells of the epidermis, breaking weak intermolecular bonds. At the stage of ultrasonic peeling, the effect of reflection of the ultrasonic wave from the surface of the skin is used (the reflected ultrasonic wave knocks out the contaminations and surface layers of the stratum corneum of the epidermis from the surface of the skin) and the effect of cavitation (the formation of airless bubbles in the contact medium - water, tonic). Cavitational vesicles actively penetrate the surface layer of the epidermis, further loosening and moisturizing it, contributing to the depolarization and catalysis of the skin surface. The general effects of ultrasonic waves used in ultrasonic peeling (anti-inflammatory, bactericidal, defibrizing, reparative-regenerative, hydrating) are poorly expressed, since the ultrasonic wave does not penetrate into the thickness of the tissues, but is reflected from the surface.

When using the combined technique of ultrasonic peeling and inlay, the effectiveness of the procedure increases, since the effect of saponification of skin secretion on the surface of the skin and in the pores is attached.

Method of ultrasound peeling

To perform the ultrasonic peeling procedure, a radiator-scapula is used. The program selects the program "ultrasonic skin cleansing". When using a combined procedure on the forearm, apply (+) an electrode-bracelet (in the place of contact, previously moistened with moistened gauze). On the emitter-blade, automatically, when the bracelet is applied, a charge is established, and it is possible to use a disinfestant lotion (if the ultrasonic peeling program is used alone, then the application of the bracelet electrode is not required). Emitter-blade is installed on the surface of the skin at an angle of 45 °, convex part upward. The procedure is carried out using a labile technique.

The entire surface of the face, neck, décolleté and collar zone are treated with an emphasis on problem areas (T-zone, collar area, etc.). Radiator slowly, gently, smoothly, without pressure moves on the surface of the skin, as it is convenient for the operator, without observing cosmetic lines. To detain the radiator in one place is not recommended, since it can overheat the surface of the skin. If the patient feels "hot," then the following parameters should be checked:

  1. power of the procedure,
  2. speed of the procedure,
  3. amount of contact medium.

The power of ultrasonic radiation is set by the device manufacturer in conventional units depending on the program and is determined when the procedure is carried out according to the sensations of the customers (the sensations should be comfortable, should not be hot). If the design of the device provides the ability to install power units on its own, the intensity of the peeling is determined depending on the type of skin and its contamination. It is necessary to start with an average intensity of the indices (0.5-0.7 W / cm 2 ) and control the skin reaction. If during the procedure appears hyperemia, then the intensity should be reduced. In the absence of a negative skin reaction, with a rough oily skin, the intensity is increased to 1-1.2 W / cm 2.

For the procedure, a sufficient amount of contact medium (skin type tonic, distilled water, disinfectant lotion) is necessary. The agent is applied to the surface of the skin with a brush or cotton buds so that the blade easily slides over the surface of the skin and there is a marked spray of the agent in the form of a vapor cloud above the scapula. In order to avoid splashing the product into the eyes of the patient, it is necessary to protect them with cotton wool discs.

The time of the procedure individually, on average 10-15 minutes. When the appearance of hyperemia in the affected area, the procedure is terminated. Peeling can be carried out in the course of procedures - every day, every other day or with supporting procedures, once every 10-14 days.

The stage of ultrasonic peeling can be integrated into any cosmetic procedure; It is performed after the make-up, cleansing with milk and combined with tonification. Vaporization can be performed before ultrasonic peeling. After the procedure, the emitter-scapula is treated with an antiseptic.

Directivity of the method:

  • skin cleansing;
  • Preparation of the skin for the introduction of cosmetic products into the deeper layers of the skin.

Indications for ultrasonic peeling:

  • oily, porous skin with wide mouths of the sebaceous ducts
  • combined skin with comedones;
  • dry, thin skin;
  • "Tired", gray, dull skin;
  • fine-wrinkled type of aging;
  • deformation type of aging;
  • photoaging.

Alternative methods:

  • brossage;
  • superficial microdermabrasion;
  • vacuum peeling.
