Hardware face cleaning is a procedure in which the skin is exposed to vacuum, ultrasound or galvanic current. In addition to these, laser peeling is considered to be a hardware procedure, which helps to smooth out minor flaws in the skin relief.
Advantages and disadvantages of hardware cleaning of the face
Among the advantages of ultrasonic cleaning:
- Skin tissue is not damaged;

- Ultrasonic cleaning allows improving local blood circulation;

- The duration of the procedure is a maximum of 30 minutes;

Preparation
Preparation for the procedure is as follows: there are 3 stages that help prepare the person to perform hardware processing.
The first stage is cleaning. To improve the result, the skin first needs to remove all contaminants and sebaceous gland secretions. To do this, use tools such as foams with gels, as well as tonics and lotions, etc. It should be remembered that they should be suitable for the type of skin. Further, the face is treated with antiseptics - this is necessary, because during the cleaning process, the upper layer of the skin is removed, which makes it more vulnerable to various infections.
The second stage is the conduct of vaporization. The essence of this procedure is the treatment of the skin with steam - it opens the pores, softens sebaceous plugs and various impurities. In addition to the hot vaporization method, there is also an alternative procedure - special gels or masks that warm the skin are applied to the face. The purpose of these techniques is one: expand the pores to make skin cleaning deep and effective.
The third stage - disincrustation or galvanic cleaning. This is one of the methods of hardware processing, which helps to cleanse the face and rejuvenate it. Often it is used as an independent procedure.
The basis of the method is the principle of electrophoresis, which helps to remove fat and other contaminants from the skin. The procedure is as follows: the person is greased with a soda solution (10%) or special polarizing preparations that contain substances such as potassium with an extract of aloe, and also magnesium ions. After that, the processing is carried out using a constant electric current. Under its influence, electrolyte solutions are converted to active alkaline and acidic ions. During processing, the concentration of alkali ions occurs at one pole, and iontophoresis moves them deep under the skin, where they interact with triglycerides. As a result of this reaction, soaps are formed-chemical compounds. They can be easily removed from the skin with simple water or by vacuum cleaning. Due to the disinfestation, the cornified layer of the epithelium is destroyed and removed from the face, the pores are cleared, and also sebaceous and sweat channels.
It should be noted that galvanic cleaning is not considered mandatory, sometimes it can even be contraindicated. For example, in such cases:
- molluscum contagiosum;
- seborrhea dry type or skin xerosis;
- inflammatory processes on the skin (including purulent);
- gestosis during pregnancy;
- damage to the integrity of the skin (cuts, scratches, abrasions or scrapes);
- hemangioma or couperose;
- herpetic eruptions;
- diseases in which the process of clotting of blood is disturbed;
- use of a pacemaker.
Technique of the hardware face cleaning
The technique of carrying out hardware cleaning with the help of vacuum. It can be carried out in a wet or dry way. In the first case, you must first apply a mask or special cleansing milk on the face - this allows you to increase the efficiency of the treatment. The procedure is carried out with the help of a special apparatus, which has several replaceable nozzles, selected depending on the purpose for which the face cleaning is performed.
The beak-shaped nozzle is used to clean areas where there is an increased fat content of the skin.
A flat nozzle is used for smoothing skin folds and wrinkles.
A round nozzle is used to activate the lymph drainage through the lymphatic vessels.
The face must be treated towards the sides, starting from the center. It is impossible to treat the same area for a long time, as a result of this, the skin can form a bruise or redness.
After the treatment, the final procedures are performed: a light peeling with soft cosmetic preparations is carried out, then a special mask is applied to the face to narrow the pores, and after that the skin is moistened.
Exceptionally, the hardware cleaning of the face lasts about 20 minutes, but due to the procedures being carried out at the preparation and completion stage, the process is stretched, and can be in total 1.5 hours or even more.
Ultrasonic face cleaning
Ultrasound cleaning is a technique for treating a face with the help of ultrasonic vibrations, which are fed to the tip of the device, which looks like a scraper blade. The treatment makes the skin softer, fresh, smooths the complexion and moisturizes. Since the procedure enhances lymph drainage and blood flow, it reduces the edema of tissues. Reducing the thickness of the cornified layer allows active substances from the upper part of the skin to penetrate more intensively into its deep layers.
Hardware cleaning of the face at home
If you want to do the cleaning yourself, you must first prepare the cosmetic preparations that are needed for the processing process itself, as well as for the procedures that are performed before and after the cleaning session. Such a session will consist of several separate stages.
First, the skin is cleaned using a scrub or lotion with a mild effect.
Then the process of steaming occurs. In this case, it is best to use a phytotherapeutic decoction of herbs - vaporization of the skin with it should be performed for at least 10 minutes.
Next, the face is cleaned, for which you need a special apparatus used at home.
After that, the skin needs to be treated with a disinfectant containing alcohol - to prevent the possibility of infection.
Next, you need to narrow the open pores - for this, a gel or mask is applied to the skin. Alternatively, you can wipe your face using an ice cube of herbal soothing decoction.
Then apply a moisturizer - this procedure completes the process of cleaning the face of the person at home.
Cleaning can be performed 1-3 r. / Month. (the amount depends on how much the skin is soiled). Even if irritation does not occur, you can not abuse cleaning - frequent treatments can cause damage to the skin or formation of bruises.
Contraindications to the procedure
Contraindications to the procedures are:
- oncological diseases;
- pregnancy;
- purulent process, dermatosis or inflammation in acute form;
- Cardiovascular diseases and acne in severe form;
- inflammation of the skin in chronic form;
- viral dermatoses (such as herpes, etc.);
- couperose and eczema;
- pink acne in a state of inflammation;
- excessively sensitive or dry skin.

Complications after the procedure
Since the treatment is delicate, complications are rare. Usually they become a consequence of ignoring the patient's contraindications or failure to follow the rules of the procedure.
Bruising or bruising occurs if the face has a vascular network, or the vessels have increased brittleness. In addition, the hematoma can form, if a long process one part of the face or put too much pressure on it. Multiple or prolonged cleaning of one area of the face can develop edema of the tissues or irritation.

Care after the procedure
While the hardware cleaning of the face is not considered a traumatic method, the skin still gets under aggressive influence, after which it briefly acquires a heightened sensitivity to irritating factors. To protect the cover from infection and speed up the recovery process, you need to observe some important rules.
Do not use cosmetics for 12 hours after cleaning.
For 2-3 days, do not use aggressive substances when washing. Instead, it is better to use soft milk or facial foam.
If skin microdamages are present on the skin, decontamination solutions should be used to help the tissue heal faster. In this case, cold compresses also help.
In addition, when washing, you can use soothing herbal decoctions - with calendula, chamomile or sage. Another option is to add a little apple cider vinegar to the water used for washing.
After 24 hours, it is allowed to start using the usual drugs again. But at the same time it is recommended to add to the list of daily use protective moisturizers, and in addition to drugs that have an antioxidant effect.
When cleaning in the summer before leaving the street for the first 2-3 days, you should apply a cream containing a UV filter.
It is not allowed to apply scrubs or to scrape off the exfoliating particles of the skin mechanically.
Recovery of the skin is effectively stimulated by special masks, which can be applied immediately on the day of cleaning. Since metabolism and circulation become more active during processing, useful elements quickly fall under the skin, which helps to improve moisture and deeper nutrition. Very effective is a mask of whipped egg whites and olive oil. It narrows the pores and nourishes the skin with the necessary useful elements. If, as a result of cleaning, the skin began to peel off, you need to apply a mask of petroleum juice and fatty sour cream. In addition, on the face often impose raw cucumbers or potatoes, or puree from watermelon / melon pulp.
