The vascular system of the skin is very complicated. But a few words about it should be said, because many cosmetics and procedures are aimed at "stimulating blood circulation", "toning and strengthening the vessels of the skin," etc. A number of cosmetic defects have a vascular origin, for example, vascular asterisks, stagnant spots after inflammation, "red nose", etc.
Skin is a collection of living cells (cells of the epidermis, dermis and subcutaneous fatty tissue), intercellular substances - products of cell activity (for example, collagen, hyaluronic acid, intracellular lipids of the stratum corneum) and inorganic structures (horny scales). To affect live cells, it takes time, as living systems change slowly. A rapid change in a living system means either destruction or a state of shock.
However, the structure consisting of non-living elements, that is, the stratum corneum, can be changed. For example, you can saturate it with moisture so that it swells, you can grease it with fat so that it will be more smooth, you can partially exfoliate it, etc. All this will lead to a rapid and noticeable change in the appearance of the skin - sometimes in a matter of minutes.
Changes that live structures undergo, it is more difficult to notice, since they occur for weeks, months or even years. Therefore, in order to understand what is really doing for a skin this or that cosmetic, its effects should be divided into two groups - the effects of exposure to skin cells and effects on the stratum corneum. I must say that this is a very difficult task. And yet it can be largely resolved if one knows how deeply any particular ingredients of cosmetics can penetrate the skin, how they will act on the different skin structures that they will encounter on the way, and how or other changes in the inner life of the skin are reflected on its appearance.
Treatment of vascular asterisks on the face
The most insulting thing, especially a woman, when the spider veins appear not only on the legs, but also on the face. There are alternative means with which help it is possible to make imperceptible already appeared asterisks and considerably to brake formation of the new ones.
Fruit and vegetable masks
Apricot Mask: The flesh of 4 apricots is applied to the skin of the face for 10-15 minutes. Remove the mask with a damp cotton pad or napkin, then rub once again with lotion.
Peach mask: split the peach in half. Wipe the skin of the face with one half peach. After 20 minutes, wash the peach juice with water. It is advisable to apply the mask in the morning, 1 hour before leaving home.
Banana mask: crush the banana and apply the resulting gruel to the face. After 20 minutes, remove the mask with a cotton disc moistened in cool water.
Mask cherry-currant: to make it you need to squeeze juice from these berries. It is good to soak in the resulting juice gauze or clean cotton cloth. Apply to face and wait 10 minutes. Then wash off the trace of the mask with water, at room temperature.
Cucumber mask: you need freshly squeezed juice of 1 cucumber, medium size and gauze fabric, folded in several layers. Moistened gauze in cucumber juice is applied to the face. After 20 minutes, rinse your face with water.
