Cranberry is used in cosmetology mainly in the form of folk remedies for facial skin care.
Cranberry helps to saturate the skin with vitamins, minerals and other useful substances. The healthy berry helps to improve the complexion, and also tightens the skin, gives it elasticity, softness and a healthy appearance.
The berry also fights various skin problems. For example, peeling and redness of the skin, dryness and roughness, acne, enlarged pores and unpleasant oily shine of the face - all this is eliminated by cranberry products.
Cosmetic problems with hair were also described a little higher in the corresponding section. Cranberry masks return healthy shine and vitality to hair, add volume and eliminate scalp oiliness.
Let's give an example of a lotion for oily skin that can be used daily by women and girls with this type of skin.
A medium-sized lemon is grated on a fine grater. Then everything is poured with one glass of vodka. The mixture is poured into a glass container and left to infuse for seven days in a secluded, dark place. After which the product is filtered and one glass of fresh cranberry juice and half a glass of boiled cooled water are added to it. Everything is thoroughly mixed, glycerin is added to the mixture in the amount of one tablespoon, then the product is mixed again. The prepared lotion should be used every day, wiping the face with it before going to bed.
Oily facial skin will be put in order with the following simple recipe. Take cranberries in the required quantities, crush them, and then apply this gruel to cleansed facial skin. Keep the mask on for fifteen minutes, then wash off with warm water. For the effect to be long-lasting and noticeable, the procedure must be carried out every other day for ten to fifteen sessions.
To provide the skin with vitamins and make it elastic, cosmetologists recommend applying gauze napkins soaked in cranberry juice to the face. The procedure is carried out for fifteen minutes, and if the juice has dried earlier, the napkin should be moistened and put back on the skin of the face.
Acne in the form of small pinkish pimples is neutralized by a cranberry mask, which is used every day. In this case, you need to keep the mask on your face for an hour.
The remedy is prepared as follows. Take fresh cranberry juice and dilute it with boiled water. At first, the juice to water ratio should be one to three, then after a few days - one to two, and at the end of the course - one to one. The mask is used until the problems disappear completely. And it is applied with the help of gauze folded in several layers, which is moistened in the liquid as the fabric dries. After the procedure, the face is rinsed with boiled water at room temperature and a suitable moisturizing cream is applied to the face.
Cranberry for skin
Cranberry for skin is used primarily in the form of facial masks. This was discussed above in the relevant section.
It should be noted that cranberries have the ability to slow down the skin aging process due to their ability to strengthen collagen fibers in tissues. As a result, the skin regains elasticity and vitality. Cranberries also promote facial skin rejuvenation due to their antioxidant and gentle exfoliating effect.
Cranberry saturates the skin with vitamins and minerals. Such "nourishment" provides a healthy complexion, freshness and radiance of the skin, and for some ladies it returns a pleasant blush.
In addition, the berry perfectly whitens the skin of the face, narrows enlarged pores, fights acne and oily shine of the skin of the face.
The recipe for a simple compress that can be used in everyday practice is as follows. Take cranberry juice and dilute it with water in equal proportions. After that, soak several layers of clean gauze in the potion and apply it to the face for fifteen minutes. You can also use a cranberry compress for other areas of the skin on the body. The main thing is to apply a moisturizing or nourishing cream to damp skin after the compress.
Cranberry for face
No matter how modern cosmetology advertises itself (and in many cases rightly so), natural means of maintaining facial beauty will always be in demand and effective.
Cranberry for the face is a storehouse of vitamins and antioxidants, minerals, acids and pectins. Such rich properties of the berry help to strengthen the skin, help to maintain skin tone, slow down the aging process and rejuvenate the face. In addition, cranberry masks relieve fatigue and saturate the skin with useful substances.
Combination and oily skin needs cranberries as a medicine for treating pimples and acne rashes. The berry also helps to cope with enlarged pores, as well as redness and irritation of the skin.
Finally, cranberries have whitening properties that can be useful for those looking to lighten their skin and achieve a more refined appearance.

Cranberry seed oil has unique qualities. It contains Omega-3, Omega-6, Omega-9 fatty acids. In addition, cranberry oil contains a large amount of tocopherols, tocotrienols, phytosterols, phospholipids and vitamin A.
According to cosmetologists, cranberry oil can moisturize the skin of the face so well that no other oil can cope with this task. Also, cranberry seed oil protects the lipid skin barrier and retains moisture in the skin, which helps prevent the formation of large and small wrinkles.

For various skin problems on the face, such as flaking and eczema spots, it is useful to apply some oil to the irritated area of the face. This should be done three times a day until the problem disappears completely.
Cranberry for hair
To make your hair healthy and beautiful, you can use cranberries. To do this, squeeze the juice out of the berries and add it to the masks. For the same purpose, you can also use mashed cranberries, which are added to the mask after squeezing. The cranberries must be well ripened, otherwise, there will be no desired effect.
