Almond oil is a valuable and extremely useful product in cosmetology. To obtain the oil, peeled almond kernels are placed under a cold press so that the steam does not destroy the valuable fluids of the product.
Benefits of Almond Oil for Skin
Almond oil is widely used in home and professional cosmetology, as it contains a whole storehouse of useful and necessary vitamins for our skin, nails and hair (vitamins E, A, F, as well as B vitamins).
The active component of almond oil - Vitamin E, slows down the skin aging process and enhances the regeneration of flabby, chapped and damaged areas. The effect of smooth, healthy and toned skin can only be achieved through long-term and systematic use of oil (after all, vitamin E must accumulate in the body). But it should be noted that almond oil also helps well with a one-time use, especially when it is used for emergency help with chapped or frostbitten skin, as well as so-called bags under the eyes (express help in the morning).
Vitamin A, which is contained in almond oil in considerable quantities, helps to moisturize skin cells. It is worth noting that almond oil is absorbed quite quickly, without leaving a greasy shine or creating the effect of greasy skin. If you forgot to apply the oil in the evening, you can easily apply it in the morning before work, blotting off the excess that was not absorbed with a damp cloth.
Almond oil is truly a universal remedy, which is why it is so valuable. It is perfect for the care of any skin type, solving the problems of everyone. Often, cosmetologists advise using it for patients with dry and tight skin, but the active components of almond oil will also help combination and even oily skin.
Many beauties, sparing their delicate skin, do not dare to use even the most expensive creams to remove makeup, using warmed almond oil for this purpose. Warm oil will not only pleasantly warm the skin of the face, but will also be better absorbed and remove excess sebum faster. It is also used to remove eye makeup. To do this, a few drops of warm oil are dripped onto a cotton swab, previously soaked in warm water, and then carefully remove eye makeup. It is worth noting that almond oil very gently and completely removes even waterproof mascara.
In addition, the miraculous almond oil (especially from sweet almonds) helps strengthen and grow eyelashes. If your eyelashes grow poorly and often fall out, or you just want to strengthen them and make them thicker and fluffier, buy a special almond mascara at the pharmacy. The principle of its action is the same as regular mascara, only instead of paint, you apply specially thickened almond oil to the eyelashes. It is important that regular mascara can be applied to the eyelashes over this oil, but to achieve the desired effect, you must wait 10-15 minutes before applying regular mascara.
Many girls and women constantly use almond oil for hair masks. Masks made from pure almond oil, or with its addition, strengthen and nourish hair, make it smooth and silky. It is noted that after regular hair masks with almonds, hair acquires the so-called "salon" look. Apply the mask under a shower cap on unwashed hair. The duration of the procedure is 1.5-2 hours. Do not do it more often than 2 times a week (on dry hair). For oily hair, once will be enough. After such a mask, there is no need for a balm or hair fluid.
Multifunctional almond oil is also used for hand and nail care. They say that a woman's hands can tell you not only about her age and grooming, but also about her health. Beautiful, neat hands with smooth and soft skin attract attention and charm. Almond oil is ideal for hand and nail care. It perfectly moisturizes and nourishes dry skin of the hands, and is simply irreplaceable for eliminating microcracks (which appear, for example, when in contact with abrasive detergents). Zinc, contained in almond oil, starts and accelerates skin regeneration processes, prevents the appearance of age spots and acne.
To make a nourishing mask for hands and nails, you need to do the following: 1) wash your hands with mild soap to cleanse the skin of dirt. 2) Apply warm oil to your palms and rub into the nail plates, gently and carefully massaging them. 3) Put on special gloves for hand procedures (sold in pharmacies). The procedure takes 15-20 minutes. The required amount of oil will be absorbed into your hands during this time, so after removing the gloves, you can safely wash your hands with soap.
Attention: to carry out the above procedures, buy only high-quality sweet almond oil from the pharmacy! (bitter almond oil is also available for sale).
Almond oil is taken both topically on the skin and internally (the method of administration is indicated on the package). In addition, the almond kernels themselves are very useful: every day, eating up to 10-15 kernels, you will get a noticeably improved complexion. It is also worth noting that almond grains, as well as almond oil when taken internally, have a beneficial effect on brain function, bone tissue regeneration and the digestive system. Raw almonds are more useful than roasted ones.
Almond Oil for Dry Skin
When caring for dry facial skin, almond oil relieves irritation and fatigue, regenerates damaged areas, and saturates the skin with moisture and oxygen. People with dry skin often complain that when they get out of bed in the morning, they immediately feel tightness of the skin of the face. Many girls and women note that in the morning the skin seems to be tightly stretched over the skull: almond oil copes with this problem perfectly. To solve it, you can apply a thin layer of it to the tight skin of the face, either in pure form, or add 2-3 drops of oil to the cream or fluid used in the morning. A couple of drops of almond oil are also very good to add to the cream under the eyes - vitamins A and E contained in the oil will tighten the slightly flabby delicate skin under the eyes and give the look vigor and clarity.

Almond oil for oily skin
Those with combination or oily skin also use almond oil, both to eliminate oily shine and to moisturize and nourish the skin of the face. When caring for oily skin, the active components of almond oil penetrate into enlarged pores, disinfecting and narrowing them. Thus, seemingly oily and dense almond oil perfectly mattifies the skin and protects against enlarged pores, which open the way to the appearance of subcutaneous inflammation and pimples.
It should be noted that almond oil for oily skin, used daily, protects it from harmful ultraviolet rays and radiation exposure.
The following mask can eliminate the problems of acne and oily skin: Mash 1 potato until smooth, add 2 tablespoons of almonds and the same 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Mix the mixture well, then add a tablespoon of calendula tincture. Apply the resulting mixture in an even, thin layer to the skin of the face, avoiding the area around the eyes. After 12-15 minutes, it is preferable to wash off the mask using a cotton pad soaked in warm water.
For dry skin, we recommend the following moisturizing and toning mask: 1 tablespoon of fatty (preferably homemade) cottage cheese, grind with 1 tablespoon of kiwi pulp. Add 2 tablespoons of almond oil to the resulting mixture. The resulting mixture should be applied in a thin, even layer for 12-15 minutes. It is preferable to wash off the mask with a cotton pad soaked in cool water.

Reviews of Almond Oil for Skin
Reviews of the properties of almond oil are very flattering. We will give you one of the reviews from the Internet, taken not from the product sales site (where reviews can be part of the advertisement), but from the forum of amateur users, ordinary people.
"I recently got acquainted with this oil. I stupidly dried the ends of my hair with castor oil, and I simply needed to give them a nice look and revive my hair. A friend recommended almond oil for this purpose. I bought it, and at first I was pleasantly surprised by the price (only 18.5 UAH - 50 per gram of oil), and then I was pleasantly surprised by its quality and the effect it produces on the hair.
It has no smell, it is quite thick. With daily use it lasted me a month. Having started using it, I was convinced that almond oil is capable of many things: moisturizing hair and skin, getting rid of brittleness, eliminating "crow's feet", evening out complexion, removing dark circles under the eyes, removing makeup, making eyelashes thicker and healthier.
The advantage of the oil is that it can be used both in its pure form and as an additive to your basic face or hand cream.
After using the oil for a month, I can confidently say that my hair has become qualitatively better: before it was brittle and dry, but now it is silky and smooth.
Also, after a month of using the oil, dark circles became less noticeable. In winter, peeling skin passed me by, as I applied almond oil to my face before each time I went outside. I recommend this miracle oil to everyone, it is inexpensive, quickly absorbed, perfectly moisturizes and tones the skin. In addition, it can be used internally to normalize the work of the gastrointestinal tract. " Olga, 29 years old, Kyiv.
