In Germany, a group of scientists proved that fatty foods are necessary for people, since it contains fatty acids that improve the work of most organs and protect against the development of a number of diseases. The results of their work, the researchers published in one of the famous scientific publications in Germany. Previously, experts have already proved that fatty acids must be included in the human diet, but German researchers found a new useful property of such substances for the human body, as it turned out, the use of fatty foods will help prevent the development of mental illness.

In their experiment, scientists divided the volunteers into two equal groups (40 people each). In the first group, subjects were allowed to eat fatty foods with a high content of omega-3 fatty acids, in the second it was allowed to eat everything except fatty foods.

The experiment lasted three months and, having received the results of the experiments, the scientists were amazed.

Specialists have found that fatty foods reduce the risk of developing schizophrenia, depression, psychosis and other mental disorders.

In the first group, where volunteers were fed on fatty foods, only two participants showed their psychological abnormalities, while 11 people were subjected to the second psychosis.

Scientists analyzed the state of children aged 7 to 10 years, the specialists wanted to find out the ability to switch attention and change the solution in the process of changing the requirement. As a result, it was found that children, whose diet contained a lot of saturated fats, had a reduced response and cognitive flexibility.
