It turns out that the ideal man is not a myth after all, he really does exist, but there is a small correction: this ideal is different for each age.
Women's tastes change with age, so it is not unusual that today a woman's ideal man is one thing, and tomorrow it is another.
Often, a woman's age is determined by her tastes and the qualities she seeks in a man. For young girls, it is important to see a friend and sexual partner in a man, those who are a little older are looking for fathers for their future children, ladies over 35 need a strong shoulder, but women over 55 are not so easy to please - they need sex and intelligence.
British scientists conducted a large-scale survey, in which women of different ages took part. It turned out that the most picky are ladies over 55 years old. Why is that? Let's figure it out.
Age 18-24 years
For this age group, it is very important for a man to be physically fit and have an attractive appearance. Thus, the "owners" of such a superman will be able to impress their friends. 47% said that a man should be liked by friends, be sociable, and also share the girl's tastes in music, cinema and literature.
Age 25-34 years
At this age, women are already more reasonable and look at a man not with romantic fervor, but from the point of view of his career prospects. But in addition to success at work, the sexual component of the relationship also becomes important for women. At this age, women begin to think about children, so it is important for them to provide them with a decent future.

Age 35-44 years
Since years take their toll on appearance, women at this age begin to look towards older men. The biological clock is ticking and therefore physical fitness, attractiveness and especially the assessment of friends are pushed into the background. 73% of women were ready to build a relationship with a man five or more years older, but without bad habits.
Age 45-54 years
The key problem at this age is the lack of some kind of security and a strong shoulder behind which one could hide from problems and adversity. 95% expressed a desire to find a man with such qualities, reliable and able to protect and shield. As for appearance, women at this age become less picky, but a man's wealth plays an important role for them. Usually, age does not matter much, but 54% of respondents admitted that they would not mind starting an affair with a young suitor.
Age 55 and over
Oddly enough, but at the age of "over 55" women are selective and it is not easy to please them. For them, such qualities as a man's sense of humor, intelligence, and sexual compatibility with a partner are very important. Older ladies want their chosen one to share their values.
According to experts, such pickiness in choosing a partner is due to the fact that women over 55 are set on long-term relationships and do not intend to waste time on every man they meet. And in order to live happily ever after with your chosen one, you cannot do without a sense of humor and intellectual abilities.
