The predilection for alcohol of the population on our planet still remains an actual problem, even in spite of the fact that scientists have proved the essential harm caused to alcoholic organism. Various studies in this field are continuing and specialists prove again and again that excessive alcohol addiction leads to serious consequences. But in one recent study, scientists concluded that regular use of alcohol can be useful, but not for everyone. In the course of the experiments, the researchers found that alcohol has beneficial effects on women over 65 and on men from 50 to 65 years, but on the condition that there are no other pathologies and disorders in which drinking is prohibited.

The new research project was attended by scientists from Australia and the United Kingdom, who in the process of making interesting conclusions.

In the course of the experiment, which lasted ten years, experts have studied the data on the state of health of more than fifty thousand people aged fifty years. At the beginning of the experiment, all the volunteers answered questions that related to the amount of alcohol they drink every day. Given these data, specialists have been following the life and health of volunteers for 10 years. At the end of the study, the scientists carefully studied all the changes in the health of the participants in the experiment that occurred during this period.

As a result, according to the results, the majority of volunteers did not benefit from drinking alcohol. Positive influence was noted only among women aged 65 who preferred to drink a glass of wine every day, and also among men 50 to 65 who drank about two liters of beer per week. This group of men and women, in comparison with people who did not drink alcohol at all, were less at risk of developing cardiovascular diseases.

But experts once again emphasize that alcohol is useful in moderate doses. As you know, alcohol has a strong influence on other human organs and systems, so alcohol abuse can lead to various diseases, including cardiovascular pathologies.

Specialists noted that women over 65 can drink alcohol, but in small quantities. In addition, the use of alcohol helps women in old age to increase life expectancy. As experts noted, if a week to drink five small portions of alcohol, it will help reduce the risk of sudden death.

It should be noted that with moderate alcohol consumption, the probability of death in women is reduced by almost 30%. Regarding the male sex, alcohol has a positive effect on men from 50 to 65 years.

These findings are confirmed by other earlier studies in which it was found that moderate consumption of alcohol has a beneficial effect on the body. However, experts once again warn that excessive infatuation with such drinks can provoke the opposite effect.

Despite all the conclusions and conclusions, the question of both the benefits and harm of alcohol remains open.
