Scientists recommend consuming more olive oil

Olive oil will help reduce the negative effects of external factors and normalize blood pressure. The latest research by scientists has shown that olive oil combined with vegetables helps lower high blood pressure.
It is generally accepted that a healthy diet should include unsaturated fats - avocado, olive oil, nuts, as well as vegetables - lettuce, spinach, beets, carrots, etc. Such products in combination contribute to the formation of fatty nitro acids, which help reduce blood pressure. Scientists obtained such data during a study on rodents, but according to experts, the same effect should be seen in humans.
The United States Environmental Protection Agency, in turn, concluded that olive oil helps protect the body from microscopic dirt particles that cause inflammation, increase blood pressure, the likelihood of developing blood clots, and hardening of blood vessels.
It has long been known that polluted air increases the risk of developing heart disease, asthma, and strokes.
The experts conducted an experiment with 42 volunteers who were healthy at the time of the study. The scientists divided the participants into two groups, where the first group took three grams of fish oil daily, and the second - three grams of olive oil. The scientists also formed a control group that did not take any supplements.
The participants in the experiment were constantly exposed to either clean or polluted air. Scientists assessed the condition of the blood vessels in three stages: before, after, and some time after exposure to air.
As it turned out, immediately after a person was exposed to polluted air, the vessels significantly narrowed in people from the control group and the group that took fish oil. In the group where volunteers drank olive oil, there was no significant narrowing of the vessels after exposure to polluted air, and in this group, scientists also found an increase in the protein in the volunteers' bodies that helped break down blood clots.
The findings suggest that olive oil could become a safe, inexpensive and effective way to help the body fight environmental stress in the future.
During the third study, experts determined that during pregnancy, women are exposed to the negative impact of polluted air precisely in the second trimester. As it turned out, exposure to polluted air during this period increased the risk of giving birth to children with asthma. Particles in polluted air harm the lungs of a developing child. As is known, women are contraindicated during pregnancy a number of drugs that can harm both the future baby and disrupt the normal course of pregnancy. A salad with two tablespoons of olive oil will help women safely reduce the negative impact of the environment, as well as improve digestion, the condition of the skin, hair, nails and saturate the body with vitamin E, which is necessary for the absorption of vitamins A and K.
