The bone system

Meniscus of the knee joint

The knee joint meniscus is an anatomical connective tissue formation of a semicircular shape that occupies the space between the tibia and the femur.

Knee joint ligaments

Despite the fact that knee joints have been studied for many years, research in this direction continues. For a correct understanding of the close functional interaction of each of the structural elements of the capsular-ligamentary apparatus of the knee joint, it is advisable to consider the range of these questions from the point of view of their influence on the stability of the joint.

Structure of the skull

The structure of the skull is studied not only by anthropologists, doctors and pathologists, but also representatives of creative professions - artists, sculptors. The skull is not just complex in structure, it is, despite the visible strength, quite fragile, although it is designed to protect the brain from bumps and injuries.

Joints of the bones of the hand

The articular joint (art mediocarpea) is formed by the articulating articular surfaces of the bones of the first and second rows of the wrist. This is a complex joint, block-shaped in shape. His articular fissure is S-shaped.

Elbow joint

The elbow joint (art cubity) is formed by three bones: the humerus, the radial and the ulnar. Bones form three joints, enclosed in a joint joint capsule.

Wrist joint

The wrist joint (art radiocarpea) is the articulation of the bones of the forearm with a brush. The joint is formed by the carpal joint surface of the radius and the articular disc having a triangular shape, as well as the proximal row of the wrist bones (scaphoid, semilunar, trihedral bones). The joint capsule is thin, attached at the edges of the articulating surfaces, strengthened with ligaments.

Pubic Symphysis

Symptomatic pubic symphysis (symphisis pubica) connects the symphysial surfaces of two pubic bones, between which is a fibrous-cartilaginous interoblock disc (discus interpubicus).

Sacroiliac joint

The sacroiliac joint (art sacroiliaca) is formed by the ear-shaped surfaces of the hip bone and sacrum. The joint capsule is thick, tightly tied, attached to the edges of articular surfaces, fused with the periosteum of the pelvic bone and sacrum.

Hip Joint

The hip joint (art. Coxae) is formed by the semilunar surface of the acetabulum of the pelvic bone and the head of the femur. The joint surface of the pelvic bone increases due to the acetabulum (labrum acetabulae).

Knee-joint

The knee joint (art genus) is the largest and most complex in structure. It is formed by the femoral, tibial bones and patella. The articular surfaces of the medial and lateral condyles of the femur are articulated with the upper articular surface of the tibia and the patella.
