Italian experts studied the influence of some products on the state of human health. During a long experimental observation of volunteers (about 50,000 people) for eight years, it was possible to establish that regular consumption of foods with fast-digestible carbohydrates did not affect the heart of men in any way, but in women such nutrition was twice as likely to lead to heart disease.
Scientists noted that present in vegetables, cereals, fruits, whole grains, slow carbohydrates, do not have a negative effect on the female heart, so such products should be included in the diet of women. This feature is associated with the assimilation of carbohydrates by the female body. In the male body, the digestion of carbohydrates is slightly different, their blood retains nonpathogenic cholesterol longer than in the body of a woman. However, men are more at risk of gradual diabetes, obesity, metabolic syndrome. With their own food they themselves provoke failures in the natural work of the mechanism of protecting the vessels from blockage.
To keep the heart healthy, you must regularly undergo an examination, as well as take a careful look at nutrition. Experts recommend to exclude from the diet products whose glycemic index exceeds 70. Ideally, the diet should consist of products with a glycemic index below 55, then the risk of a pathological rise in insulin is excluded. Such nutrition will help in the prevention of obesity and cancer. A low glycemic diet will help women to maintain their health and activity.
