American biologists insist that each person has a genetic predisposition to any kind of sport or physical activity. The data, laid down at the genetic level, determine the type of activity that will not only be the most useful, but also the most enjoyable for each of us.

Biologists from the United States believe that the DNA structure contains information about the tendency of each person to a certain type of physical activity and sports load. At the moment, the Americans were able to conduct a trial genetic testing, with the help of which it was possible to determine the appropriate sport for each participant of the experiment. The head of the research is sure that in the near future such testing will help people to save a huge amount of time, which usually goes in search of "their" sport.

Researchers have determined that a person's response to sports achievements, injuries, recovery and gradual increase in load depends not only on the overall physical state of the body, but also on the genetic predisposition to training.

In the recovery process after training, more than twenty genes of the DNA structure participate, so the body's response to exercise can be unpredictable. Scientists believe that testing at the genetic level will help determine the appropriate type of sports activities for each person. The undeniable plus of the genetic test is that determining the most appropriate type of training guarantees a stable result in a short time.

At the moment, scientists are developing a kit, with which the diagnosis of genetic predisposition to sports will become an accessible and quick procedure. An analysis of the initial genetic data can in a few hours determine the appropriate sport and the recommended type of physical activity. Earlier, European specialists managed to prove that sports can not only have a positive effect on the state of the body, but also produce changes in DNA. Several experiments have shown that intensive daily training can change internal processes in the body at the cellular level.

Scientists compared the indicators of health of people who lead a low-active lifestyle, and those who actively participate in sports. The data, which were analyzed by the specialists of European universities, showed that the DNA of the participants involved in sports had changed. The results of DNA changes led to an improvement in the elasticity and endurance of muscle tissue, as well as to an improvement in metabolism.

It was also found that sports can prevent the development of diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. Changes that occur in DNA affect the regulation of glucose levels in the body, and also accelerate the metabolism of sugar and fats entering the body.
